Help! Samsung Galaxy A3 2017- USB dead- System boots only when plugged in - Samsung Galaxy A3, A5, A7 (2017) Questions & Answe

hey everybody!
i was using my galaxy a3 2017 (SM320FL) for half a year with lineage os (15.1) and flashed the latest build (Lineage 15.1-20180821-UNOFFICIAL-a3y17lte) some weeks ago.
i allways noticed little bugs etc. but all in all it worked for me.
since a week now, the phone won't boot into the system anymore if not connected to charge. i can still boot in download mode and recovery without plugging it in but not into the custom rom. as soon as i deconnect it (when using the custom rom) it reboots and gets stuck at the samsung screen.
that wouldn't be that bad if the usb connection was not dead as well. that happened a few month ago allready. i tried to connect it via odin, kies and smartswitch in download mode and recovery. but nothing. i also reinstalled the drivers via kies. i also flashed "ressurection remix oreo" to check wether it works with different roms but it didnt.
does anybody here have an idea what i can do to make the usb connection work? or is there a possibility to flash the firmware without it?
device SM-320FL
Android 8.1.0
TWRP 3.2.3-0
Bootloader: 0x030c (?)
EDIT: the problem turned out to be broken cables. i tried with a third one and usb is working fine.

[Q] Think I've bricked it.

Hi, I installed Cyanogen without a problem however the USB connection did not work as well as some other things so I found the Note 2 stock ROM and went to try flash that.
However the USB connection not working seems to still be a problem as the ROM doesn't flash (failed) and isn't recognized by Kies if I try to do an emergency firmware recovery.
Help guys! I'm stuck at the either "downloading" screen when I turn my phone on to load the ROM or either "there was a firmware error", I cannot load my phone past that, arrrrgh!
looks like it is a driver issue . You can try installing the drivers manually or with a different pc which previously recognized Note 2 ..
Go to downloading mode and let the usb drivers install from online or windows update .. or try connecting a different Note 2 and check if your PC recognizes Note 2

[Q] Galaxy Tab 3 Lite (Neo) stuck in bootloop

Hi,
Well, this is my first post here, and I don't want to get out on the wrong foot, so advise me if I am going wrong somewhere.
Device info: SM - T110
Status: Stuck in bootloop.
Few days ago, I had rooted the tab. Things were smooth. Later, it asked me to update SU binaries. Ok. Then it switched off, and never switched on again. It only used to boot in download and recovery mode (CWM) . So I downloaded the official firmware and started to flash it. It started, only to get caught in a bootloop in the middle again.
So the update got stopped in middle.
The tab only even works if I connect it to a charger and shows a screen saying that my firmware update has gone wrong, connect to Kies. But my tab keeps switching on and off, not allowing time to connect.
Now how do I get out of the bootloop ?
P.S : I cannot get into either download or recovery mode. ( That's why I started a new thread)

Use a different USB cable and a different USB port, and (if that doesn't work) a different PC.
You're not bricked, there's the good news.

ODIN Flash stuck on system.img

Hey there everyone.
I tried flashing the stock ROM with a patched Magisk image.
However I cannot seem to flash the image. ODIN gets stuck on "system.img" ...
F. Reset time is ticked in ODIN.
My phone is just softlocked, I can reboot into Download mode.
But when I start the phone, it tells me that "something went wrong during the firmware upgrade" and to install "samsung smart switch", however that software cannot detect my phone and reflash.
Phone is connected with the stock USB C cable, I also tried a different cable.
I am currently downloading all the tools and redownload firmware with SamFirm 0.3.6 (I know it's deprecated, but it's the fastest and seems to work) to a different PC (Surface Go) and try to flash with that PC, maybe my current laptop is broken (Dell G3).
Are there other things that I can try?
Some information:
Note 10 plus SM-N975F , Exynos international version
Original country code DBT
PDA N975FXXU1ASHE
CSC N975FOXM1ASHE
Odin 3.13.1 & 3.13.1_3b

Thanks!
Update:
I switched from my Dell G3 to a Surface Go, and on the surface go ODIN works!
I flashed the stock ROM and am now trying to re-flash with Magisk installed.
Hey there! I've check some of the models of your G3 Dell comes with Thunderbolt while others don't you might want to recheck the ports that you tried? What happen to me was similar. I tried many different USB C cables but nothing work until i tried a different port on the side which then work. After setting everything up I was still not satisfied with the back port not working so I switched on my flashlight only to realised that it was a THUNDERBOLT PORT and not a USB C PORT although they both can fit into the same port but they don't really do the same especially when you have a USB C cable plug into a Thunderbolt port. Might wanna check it out!
