[Q] J6 mods - Samsung Galaxy J Questions & Answers

I just got myself a J6 device. Very happy with it so far.
As there are no custom roms for this device, are there any xposed mods that may work for the firmware, such as center clock, advanced power menu?
Thanks,

[Q] Tablet UI on stock ROM?

Is it possible? status bar at the bottom? some build.prop tweak? I tried the xposed module but it didnt work
Not till date...long process maybe possible...wait for PA rom..that has integrated way to do it.
developers are like gods
It was possible on Pacman ROM by xenon92. It had PA ROM features in it such as tablet and hybrid UI. But then again it's AOSP-based not stock-based...
By the way. I encountered somewhere that Google removed tablet ui after 4.4+.. just saying for info

Mods not requiring Xposed Framework

Hello world!
I remember I found a mod for like a year ago that made me able to change the button icons using nothing but Root. And as Xposed Framework doesn't work for Android 5.0 anymore I want to ask you guys to posts the best mods that's not requiring Xposed Framework. Root and flashing in Recovery is fine. But I miss a collection of mods in one thread.

Custom Commands on pressing Home- Button?

Hey there!
This is my first thread, and I just registered, so yeah...
Hello...
Anyways, I hope you can help me with this Problem:
I just rooted my "Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 WiFi".
I got SuperUser, TWRP etc, and installed some basic first Apps for Root stuff, like changing the language and deinstaller and whatever.
But now to my actual point of this thread:
I dont want S Voice to open when I hold down my Home- Button, etc etc.
I want to put custom operations on it, like: "Open [custom App]" when pressing on it, or "Go to [settings]" etc.
Is this possible in some way?
I mean, I use lollipop (5.0.1 ~) and yeah....
Can someone help me with this? Or do I have to take a custom rom or something?
thank you in advance!

You can alter the Home button behavior with the Wanam xposed module. For installing xposed, you need a deodexed touchwiz based custom ROM or a non-touchwiz based custom ROM.
For deodexed touchwiz custom ROMs, you will find the instructions for installing xposed here:

For other custom ROMs, you'll find the instructions here:

Custom status bar

So I just unlocked BL and have twrp recovery etc. I'm wondering if there is a ROM that runs smooth that u can customize colors on status bar etc. If it's possible on marshmallow. Thanks in advance.
So I know that xposed has modules that could do this can anyone relate or lead me to the forum for installing xposed on here.

Xposed Modules

I am finding that of all the modules I have tried most settings do nothing to change the phone. I have tried Gravitybox, XBlaster even Wanam & Lp.
Wanam seems to work the best . I managed to get the header panel & the pull down settings menu to change to ...well....... some what of what I want it to look like. I also managed to get the clock up to the left of the status bar, but thats all.
Lp themer allowed me to change the top panel color. (which is what I wanted). It's a small but works.
Gravitybox let me put a nav bar in . That's all.
Xblaster let me color settings icons , That's all.
I don't know but maybe the modules work more thoroughly when you have fully unlocked bootloader. Maybe they need to work alone not with other settings.
If that's the case I wouldn't need xposed any way I could just install a Rom & be done.
I like the ideas & praise the developers .
Samsung S4 I545 de-odexed & rooted
Have you restarted your phone each time you tried to change any settings? Also, try deleting and redownloading, that worked for me whenever my modules weren't working.
Not all those modules will work if you have a TW rom on your S4. For instance, GravityBox is more for AOSP/CM roms. The only thing you can use is wanam or some of the others that say they specifically target Samsung phones.
mate, just use Flat style bar
