I actually have the Verizon Note 3 and am holding out for the Note 5. Anybody have any idea on when the Note 5 would be coming out, considering the Note 1, 2, 3 and 4 timelines? Is it every year, and when should it be?

yes its the global version.. same as redmi note5 ai china but global has more bands and RN5 pro is indias region only... codename whyred and yes all 3 use the same rom.

My phone is Redmi Note 5, M1803E7SG model name, Snapdragon 636 and 3/32GB RAM/ROM version. Which ROMs should I use? From RN5 Pro forum?

The phone just about fits in the controller.
