Thanks for adding zenfone2 forums.
We have been asking for Asus Zenfone forum last several months but didn't get it. We are over 2 million user from 11 different countries and would like to have consolidation of Asus Zenfone post so we can have development of roms and other mods.
Can we post Zenfone v1 related questions here in this forum by tagging each post
or moderator can you give us another section for zenfone v1 please?
Few suggestion & plan we have is
1. find all zenfone threads & move them here in this section.
2. move scattered post & relevant information in those threads & make new threads with relevant title
3. ask developers to mod smaller things to begin with.
4. Xposed installer (bug free) modules for zenfone
5. flashing tools for upgrading & downgrading
6. Audio volume mod to increase the loud speaker volume on zenfone
7. Custom kernel development to save battery life
You are truly not the first one to try.
I am completely at loss to understand, not giving the Zenfone owners finally a proper home.

I don't know why they don't make a generic Zenfone forum. I'm starting to think they're paid by the companies to create the device's forums 'cause it makes no sense...
My suggestion is:
- Asus Zenfone:

Well this happens in other forums here where users clearly mark threads for a related but not identical model and post them in the closest matching forum. It's not ideal, but we just can't have forums for every phone unfortunately.
Now whether we create a subforum here for the zenfone v1 I certainly can't promise.
Could you collect links to all the existing threads you can find for the zenfone v1 and PM the list to me?

Even if you cant create similar forums for zenfone v1, kindly at least add another 1 forum for zenfone v1 & we users will make rest of the threads by tagging each post & assigning correct titles so all useful post are found while google searching.

Zenfone(s) seem to be quite popular budget phones and a separate forum here would be great for us !!
Maybe instead of Zenfone 2 forum, just make this a Zenfone forum, so ZF4/ZF4.5/ZF5/ZF6 and ZF2 related posts can be made here.

+ 1. At least for the Zenfone 4, 5 and 6 (with fairly similar firmware) there should be a proper forum group like this http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-t-v .
The existing All-In thread for these models is so big, and therefore messed up already. So much info contained, now harder to dig for.

Hello, I got a new zenfone 2 ZE551ML from China without google account manager / google play. I am from Germany and need this. I check the internet and this forum, but there was no working solution for me. I installed Mi market, next the ggogle installer.....but it dosent work because in the end by click google account log in I got the message Connection problem with the google server....try again later.....
So I think the best way would be to install a new rom. But I have the problem to find a rom which support google and German lenguage with an instruction how to do it.
Please can you help me?

Firstly I want to say that I am new here and I' m really impressed by this forum.
Now to my Situation:
My grandmother brought a Zenfone 2 Laser from tinydeal, it was delivered with CN_1.16.40.1338 and therefore has no access to goole playstore.
I googled a while and tried to apply Gapps, manually installation (googleservcie, framework and store.apk) and method via mi appshop - none of them worked properly, playstore was installed but only a white screen appeared after starting the app.
On the other site I tried to switch to a custom rom:
- Cyageno 13 has the no speaker bug fpr ZE601KL

won't install (yet) because of Error 7 (I assume the system partition is too small...)
Before I continue with my try and error does somebody know if there has been a suitable method for region change or woking playstore on a CN discovered yet?

Hey. I am a new user of the Lineage OS version 14.1 for the Asus Zenfone 2 Z00A - have the last update - 25.11.2017. I have a problem with a bank application and I can not handle it myself. After installation I manage to activate it, but when I try to log in to my account by entering a pin number, the application stops working. Here are probably a lot of people from Poland who use this app, so maybe someone knows how to fix this. I installed the root system before, tried to hide it in Magisk, but that did not help, so I installed a clean system, then Millenium Bank application - unfortunately does not work too.

Software version is V8-RT95012-DaDaoFengYun, the rom is cracked by the guy before, it is not an official rom, but it works well ,in china.
