AOSiP, ROM for the Lenovo ZUK Z2 (Plus)
Contributors

Source Code: https://github.com/AOSiP
ROM OS Version: 9.x Pie
ROM Kernel: Linux 4.x
ROM Firmware Required: ZUI 3.5 QPST
Based On: AOSP
Version Information
Status: Stable
Created 2018-11-21
Last Updated 2019-02-11

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE:
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ATLEAST FLASHED ZUI 3.5 VIA QFIL
Grab any one of the below:
3.5.376_ST_180516 OR 3.5.389_ST_180525
Indian ZUI 2.5 is also known to work
MAKE SURE YOU'RE USING ONLY THE OFFICIAL TWRP
Reboot to recovery
Wipe Data and Cache
Flash ROM (link in first post)
Flash GApps (link in first post)
Flash ONLY the latest Magisk (optional)
Reboot to system
LIST OF ALL KNOWN ISSUES:
Touchscreen failure on refurbished phones
REPORTING BUGS:
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel, Magisk modules like: supercomplex sound mods, Adreno GPU custom libs, GPU turbo mode etc or Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred, or try to replicate the bug while grabbing logcat if you couldn't take logs at that time. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot or a panic, force reboot and go to recovery, open file manager and fetch pstore (you can do it from PC after connecting your phone in recovery mode after the panic, type "adb pull /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops" or copy that file to internal storage and reboot to system) and post it with the context of the panic . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If you couldn't do the above steps, there is a simpler way too. You can download SysLog, tick all the possible logging options. Try to replicate the exact issue you are facing and click on 'TAKE LOG' on SysLog app.
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

This AOSiP Pie release comes with some goodies:
Kernel's version is 4.4
[Brings lots of improvements ranging from memory management, better scheduling, security, RCU, performance improvements and many more compared to 3.18]
With kernel 4.4, we got an improved, effective implementation of EAS. Currently CAF has merged kernel/common which is upto EAS r1.4.
Kernel 4.4 also brings better compatibility with Clang.
Other notable features of the kernel are:
Always upto date with kernel_common (linux-stable, f2fs, and other improvements)
Always compiled with latest AOSP Clang
Enabled Clang LTO which gives a tiny performance bump
Debloated heavily and debugging is reduced a lot
Removed never ending SELinux auditing
LZ4 as default zram compression algorithm
Simple LMK by sultanxda for better memory management
Westwood+ TCP congestion algorithm
WireGuard
Vibration Control
Upstreamed CFQ as default I/O scheduler
KCAL display color control
Memory leak fixes from sultanxda and Star_king12
Coming to the ROM side:
VoLTE works and SELinux status is Enforcing
Encryption works after manual /data format from TWRP
Full Treble and full VNDK is enabled.
It uses our unused /factory partition for storing all device specific stuff there.
Users coming from ZUI only need to flash the official TWRP.
Users coming from ROMs with /vendor partition need some steps to follow:
1) Flash Vendor2factory zip,
2) Flash official TWRP,
3) Reboot to recovery and then flash the ROM
Other notable features are:
Call recording
Vibration pattern from Pixel devices
Always-On Display support
aptX support
Pixel 3/XL powerhal adapted for z2_plus for a fluid experience

rom is nice flashed the beta downloaded from Gdrive this afternoon . battery backup looks promising and usage is smooth . i noticed one thing though i have tow sim cards both 4g i use on for calls and one for internet access . i cannot switch the sim used for mobile data in sim card manager its always stuck on the same sim no matter what i try . when i choose sim for mobile data both sim indicators goes off then phone reads sim cards again and setting are back the way they were like i did nothing

Reserved

hey hey let's get that 1st page reserved post for review shall we
Edit:
1st remark: the ROM's using EAS enabled kernel, but generate less heat than the latest AEX and performance doesn't seems to be impacted. Batterylife is also top-notch, even though the phone still get a little warm when using for tasks like watching 1080p vp9 Youtube videos with speakers
2nd: no U-Touch configuration to be found, default to Left swipe - Recent and Right swipe - Menu. The lack of those customization also means that I can't map double click home button to launch camera, which is a pretty useful (and bug-free, compared to double clicking the power button) shortcut
3rd: there's a small visual bug with the clock on statusbar on lock screen after reboot, just like AEX
Edit2: There seems to be a problem with the fingerprint unlock for me, sometimes it doesnt register and I have to use dt2w or the power button, after that it returns to normal immediately
Edit3: another small visual bug: on the right side of the status bar, there seems to be a lack of space, since if too many system icon on there, the battery icon is pushed out of the screen entirely

The Rom is just perfect. I noticed a small bug- the gesture typing using in built aosp keyboard causes it to force close. (It's a rom side bug ig). Also, the display glitches are close to none. Battery is also good and heat management is also pretty good. And it's just the SMOOTHEST ROM i have used. The 4.4 combo with EAS is just wow.
Thanks a lot, dev. Waiting for future updates with even more optimisations.

Probably a fix for the fingerprint reading in deepsleep problem, which I havent got any since I flash the kernel (about half a day ago now)
Might need more time to have a conclusive result but it's promising

Man this rom is so fluid and bugless it's incredible. It has everything I want in a rom, not a lot of features, good battery life, good performances. It's perfect for me thank you very much. I recommend it to everyone
PS: last kernel corrects the fingerprint problem

New beta update is up!
Grab it from here: Official | Mirror 1 | Mirror 2
Changelog:
Device specific changes:
Android auto (Many thanks to @kraken**** for testing out builds and providing logs which helped me a lot to fix this issue)
USB tethering in Windows (doesn't need manual update to RNDIS driver anymore on every reboot)
QCOM DIAG mode
Fixed an issue where FP wasn't getting detected during setup and was only possible after reboot (Thanks to @Danish1999 for the fix)
Kernel upstreamed to 4.4.165 and compiled with AOSP Clang 8.0.5
Disabled CONFIG_KSM as it was consuming 10-30% CPU load all the time
Blob updates from zuk-devs repos
ROM specific changes:
Data switching in dual sim situations (Thanks to PixelExperience guys, took ims+msim commits from them to temporarily fix this issue)
4G/LTE status bar icon switcher
Vibrate on plug
Toast when a screenshot is deleted
Option to mute media with gesture
Added package name to installed app details
Ambient music ticker
Per-app cellular data and wifi restrictions
Battery meter style in battery settings page, same as status bar icon
Please clean flash this build as it contains new commits from PE which fixes data switching issue in multi-sim conditions.
Happy flashing

Flashed the latest build and battery backup and smoothness is just superb. Also, the fp recognition problem is solved. I haven't noticed any bugs so far. Just one request from dev (or maybe it's upto aosip devs to do this)- please hide the annoying hd notification permanently.
Also, the battery graph is for first cycle after flashing, it should improve after a few cycles.

As of now navbar toggle isn't added in AOSiP yet. But you can use any terminal app or do 'adb shell' from PC and paste this (Grant root access after typing su):
su
mount -o remount,rw /vendor; echo 'qemu.hw.mainkeys=0' >> /vendor/build.prop; reboot;
The device will reboot and you can see the navbar is enabled after it boots up.

first rom without fingerprint problem and very smooth

The AOSParadox Project 2.1
What's CodeAurora Forums ?
Code Aurora Forum (CAF) is a consortium of companies with projects serving the mobile wireless industry. Software projects it concerns itself with are e.g. Android for MSM, Femto Linux Project, LLVM, MSM WLAN and Linux-MSM. Code Aurora is basically AOSP plus all Qualcomm specific enhancements and optimization.
What's AOSParadox Project ?
AOSParadox is a vanilla ROM. Our goal is to pick the least amount of commits possible on AOSP code. While trying to add features, when CodeAurora provide us with chipset's specific sources ?
At the opposite of most of ROMs that you can find, the trees are made by ourselves to be integrated in this new ROM type.
What should I be aware of ?
Everything is custom and made to work with CodeAurora Forum's sources so custom kernels won't boot (ramdisk is different, selinux rules too, ...).
Extra features
Code:
- Snapdragon camera
- Compatible with layer themes
What doesn't work ?

[B]1.1 [U]Enabling softkeys:[/U] [/B]
1. Make sure you have got / & /system mounted as rw.
2. Go to device/system/build.prop.
3. Scroll down to the extreme bottom.
4. Add this line there :
[I]qemu.hw.mainkeys=0[/I]
5. Save the file and reboot. (To be sure that it has got enabled and we're gonna disable the hard-keys in the next step.)
[B]1.2 [U]Disabling the Hardware keys:[/U] [/B]
1. Go to Device/system/usr/keylayout/generic.kl.
2. Scroll down and find the following keys and add # before each of them.
It should then look like this:
# key 139 MENU
# key 158 BACK
# key 172 HOME
3. Save and Reboot.
[B]Alternatively[/B] you can go set the long press and short press of the hard keys to "No action" from settings , in newer builds. (But [B]back button would still work though[/B])
[B]1.3 [U]Disabling the backlight of the HW keys:[/U] (Permanent as long as a systemless SuperSU is available.)[/B]
1. Download this :- [url]https://www.dropbox.com/s/lbx8fogscy8v0xc/DisableSoftkeysBacklight?dl=0[/url]
2. Have [B]a systemless version of [user=631273]@Chainfire[/user] 's SuperSU flashed [/B] (very important)
3. Go to /su/su.d
4. Paste the "DisableSoftkeysBacklight" you downloaded inside su.d
5. Change permissions of the file (Give Owner read, write and execute permissions.)
6. Now reboot.

I found it odd that CAF task manager and CAF appops weren't there. Is this strictly CAF when it comes to just the kernel?

Yep. Pretty much as CAF as Sultan's kernel is. And nope. No app opps or task manager here. We've kinda stuck to as less bloat as we can manage.
ROM working fine on Multirom (secondary). Its always good to see a new ROM surface
@Quasar then would you mind removing all of those really outdated AOSP apps that are really useless? xD
Also I don't know about you.. but I'd think that CAF App ops is extremely useful.

Well, it's just gallery, browser and music. Also, CAF App Ops needs some commits that we don't want to use. You could download App Ops from the play store, though.

Don't really need those anymore since Google fixed the systemupdateservice wakelock. I haven't been on this for a full cycle yet, but on falcon, the SOT almost doubled with this ROM, so I don't think you'd need anything.

Pretty smooth ROM. I would love to see some basic features being added.
Thanks a lot for this great ROM.
@Quasar
Will you add the backup functionalities on addon.d in the future? Or it will stay as it is?
This is exactly what we need! Looking forward to this ROM and if you don't mind ,just a suggestion.. Please don't add any "extra" features such as app side bar app circle bar, floating window etc.
Battery life is too good on this ...
Network traffic and this will be the dream!

This ROM uses one heck of a lot of modules. Including prima wich isn't build "in-kernel" anymore (this way we always use the latest one and we match caf format)

If there are outdated... Why wouldn't we update it simply?
The ROM (on all the concerned devices) is quiet young. Once we added a few features (clean all task) and fixed all the bugs. We will start working apps by ourselves.

It will stay as it is to match CAF as much as we can.
Status bar says 3g even though it says lte in quick settings and no lights on capacitive keys. An option for softkeys would be awesome if possible. I also tried to flash open gapps stock package and I got an error that there wasn't enough room on system. I guess it's an error in the updater script. Works fine in CM. Thanks for the ROM I've been waiting for something like this for a while.
There are three major bugs listed and you are calling it stable?

Substratum is officially not supported into Lineage.
You are welcome to post your review: what is working, not working, etc... Check into know issues before.
You are welcome to report any typo, error, etc...
Try to keep thread clean as a dev reference. Thanks in advance.
How to report problems
How to get logs
Here you have some info about how collecting log. It is always better to include reference to the Installed version. This guide is really detailed and explained everything about bug reports. How to contribute
Code is like hieroglyphs for me:
No worries you can contribute anyway! Install the rom, do tests, read failure logs, look at internet for potential fix/similar users experience, is the biggest part of debugging. Then collect all of this and write your results here.
Code is like hieroglyphs for me and logs are worst:
No problem, collects logs the right way if you can, explain how you encounter the problem: detailed step to reproduce could be enough: explain exactly how you encounter the error/problem, it should produce each time someone repeat your steps. Then we will be able to fix it.

Thanks for all your work, a years ago it was totally impossible tout imagine such a stable rom so thanks for all the team.
Will you add stock camera app to this rom ?
It may be a silly question but since Lineage OS add hardware fonctionnality that are device-specific, do you and LOS consider sony stock camera fonctionnality (and by extension app) as hardware fonctionnality that are sony-devices-specific ?
PS: sorry if there is any typo or mistakes, my french corrector just f*ck-up all my other-language-writed text x)
PPS: thanks to xda labs, that the fifth time I try to upload this message, I hope that you can read it entirely
PPPS: I gived-up with XDA Labs, This is send with my computer

It's not about porting ^^
In every LOS rom, there is some system apps that are device-specific (I think of the off-screen gesture in OnePlus device)
For our device I think about our DRM. It add a lot of optimization for image processing.
So I just ask the devs if they consider DRM and other image processing as equivalent thing to off-screen gesture

Is there a way to disable the orange theme for battery saving mode ? And completely disabling the rotation for the magnet charger?
Otherwise this ROM is super nice! Thanks for your great work!
Thanks for the update! Unfortunately, calls over BT are still not working on my end. (Build. 20170701 - D6603 - Sony SBH20)
This time I didn't pair my smartwatch just to see if that was the issue, doesn't seem like it.
Here's the full logcat and dmesg.
Logcat (Over 512kb so I had to upload it elsewhere)
Hopefully this info will help you guys out.
Cheers!

LineageOS feature. You should be able to change the amount into settings.
On internet you probably can find some way to put that amount to 0.
There is any possibilities to upgrade this kernel (through modifications) into 3.10 or 3.18 keeping camera blobs? @xkeita @nailyk
Ahh .. paused charging is back . It's not bad stuff anyway , just in my country where is hot throughout the year is a lil bit annoying when ur battery low and u can't charge the phone because it's hot .

+1 for this. The device enters Desk Dock mode when a magnetic charger is used, which is really annoying, as it also interrupts Car Dock mode.
@nailyk: What about the Disable Desk Dock sources that I pointed you to?
I noticed a small amount of lag in the camera of the new build (lineage-14.1-20170701-xkeita-z3dual). Previously, I used the version (lineage-14.1-20170629-nailyk-z3dual). Nothing that harms me much. I just came to ask if the other members had the same problem, so I could know how to act.

From official Paranoid Android team :
"We’re really excited to announce that we are releasing our Nougat flavour of Paranoid Android. We have a lot in store - with a mix of both features & improvements.
First & foremost, we have moved our code base to be fully CAF based. This brings many improvements to your device. The key improvement here is that Qualcomm hardware is better tuned on the CAF base and with our additional optimizations we can provide a smooth and fluid user experience that will let you enjoy using your device without any lags.
On first launch you’ll notice a clean setup with a beautiful wallpaper from Hampus Olsson who’s teamed up with us again and created several beautiful pieces of artwork. For those of you who don’t know, Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work stands itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We have also added several new features and made improvements to the UI of the system that we believe would enhance the overall experience.
Pie
We’ve been working hard on redesigning this key feature of our portfolio and we’re really happy with how it has turned out. The whole design has been reworked and it fits in well with the overall feel of Google’s Material Design. This gives you the opportunity to use more gesture based control for navigating, rather than using the standard Navigation Bar at the bottom of your screen. Expect improvements and additions in the future.
Color Engine
We’re proud to announce our newest feature - Color Engine. Color Engine allows you to seamlessly change the colors of your device to be in Light, Dark (Pixel) and Black modes with a variety of accent colors to choose from. This makes changing the theme of your device really quick without having to install any extra packages on your device.
Pocket Lock
This feature prevents any form of accidental input when your device is in your pocket by disabling input sources. You can simply release Pocket Lock by long pressing the power button as highlighted by the minimal UI incase of any sort of obstruction or dust on the sensors.
Accidental Touch
Accidental Touch is a feature useful for many, especially the gamers out there. It prevents any sort of accidental touch on hardware buttons while the touchscreen is in use. This means you won’t experience any unexpected behaviour while playing games, web browsing or even when attempting to reach your finger out to the edge of that humongous display.
Major features:
- Reworked Pie
- Color engine
- Pocket lock
- Immersive mode
- Buttons customization (including navigation bar)
- On the spot controls (OTS)
Minor features:
- SafetyNet Compatibility
- Battery/Notification LED control
- Recent tasks locking
- Battery icon customization
- Google now page in default launcher
- Accidental touch
- Three finger swipe Screenshot
- Substratum (OMS) support (Color engine will be deactivated if you use Substratum)
- Quick pulldown
- Various performance and battery improvements
- Display Burn-in protection (for OLED screens)
- More to explore "
Device specific features for OP5 (List is being updated):
- Offscreen gestures
- sRGB support (OnePlus 3(T)/5 specific)
- Alert slider customization
Specific device performance and battery optimizations
- THP usage in kernel and memory allocator
- Specific boosting in performance critical scenarios
- Two-step input boost
Note: Custom kernels are explicitly unsupported and will cause issues
unless they state that they are AOSPA compatible or AOSPA based!

Precision about this build : its UNOFFICIAL .
I asked permission on Twitter, to arter97, thecrazylex and xboxfanj to make an unofficial thread on XDA, which has been ignored by the ones being active on Twitter (I know 2 of the 3 arnt active, but one of these guys is, and purely ignored me)
Thats why this thread is here, and I plan to update it
Édit : @TheCrazyLex answered to me, approved the creating of a XDA thread
EDIT 2 : One of PA members confirmed lack.of support for OP5 with PA Nougat, as support will begin with O. If you want pa_cheeseburger based on Nougat, install my builds ?
I won't ever include any mods to the ROM, like add blockers, Xposed, OOS Camera app, or whatever else. This ROM is and will stay the simplest possible, a simple Paranoid Android build for the OnePlus 5.
My phone starts to lag, why?
If you encounter slowdowns after weeks of using, please run these commands on a terminal app on your phone (assuming you're using Magisk)
su
/data/magisk/busybox fstrim -v /data
Phone should be as fast as the day you just clean flashed
if this command doesnt works, reboot into TWRP and run :
fstrim -v /data
If you guys want to build your own pa_cheeseburger builds, take a look to my instructions
Nice! Welcome and tks!

The camera with PA is pretty much identical to OOS for picture quality and for low light shots its better however 4k EIS is not as good as OOS.
Thanks and Welcome!
Can you create a Telegram Group for bug reports / beta test / discussion etc.?
Awesome! Flashed 1 hour ago and rocking solid

FOR NAOSCP N is maintained unofficially here : https://github.com/Suicide-Squirrel/platform_manifest
I do not update it on the Official because i use a lot of LineageOS and CodeAurora repos in the manifest , so AOSCP N is syncing way too many repos from outside AOSCP.
You can still use it to build for any device unofficially, but not expect me to push these to Official

>>>>>>>>>> BUG REPORTS <<<<<<<<<<
We first of all need to think well about it. If its a temperature problem, CPU problem, lag, low fps, display problem, bootloop, infinite boot, or any other problem that anyone would have noticed, but no one reported it, PLEASE think twice before you post it because its impossible to have such a bug and no one noticed it. So something you did wrong. Find it, or clean flash everything from zero.
TWRP, firmware , rom , gapps.
If it's something that propably not many people noticed, then yes take your time, when you have some, and make a nice bug report so i can also see the bug with my eyes and fix it !
Here you will find a very nice guide on how to make a useful log
~ If a stock app crashes or you have an error, i need a logcat and a small explanation on how to re-produce this error to see it with my eyes and fix it.
~ If you come upon a kernel panic , i need a dmesg and kmsg log.
**some more info about the logs: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=74565097&postcount=94
Please make rensonsible bug reports and don't just come in and report anything that comes on your mind without thinking about it.
The purpose of a bug report is to fix the bug so that we can all enjoy a better rom, not to chat.
If you don't know how to provide a bug report, read the thread at the link below.

I'm bored to tap
Ok, updated screenshots
Amazing job @kessaras, thanks!!
I've been using AOSCP until 4.1 and then switched to stock N because 4.1.1 wasn't booting and AOSCP was ignoring G4... I'm so happy now!
I'll download it ASAP and give feedback

LOL well done
I am downloading ROM and gapps and I'll give you feedbacks after some hours of testing!
Ps: do I also need to flash titan or is it included?

It's in title. So it's included. The good of being unofficial is that I can add or remove anything.

I noticed it was in the title, but since I didn't see it mentioned in the description I wasn't sure if you meant that it includes Titan or that it supports Titan
I'm having problems with the flash: It works in camera apps but for some reason there is no toggle in quicksettings and any app that should work as a flashlight won't detect it, also footej camera is shown as "not compatibile" probably for the same reason
Initial impressions:
- ROM is very nice (I love CypherOS)
-Battery consumption is through the roof (battery depletes very quickly)
- I've had 3 kernel crashes
- Kernel Adiutor reports that 4 small cores are always offline and 2 big cores are always 100% load
Is there anybody else with this problem? Do you guys have any suggestions?
P.S. Everything was clean flashed of course

No idea because here it never had any issue.
If I ever see it yes I'll know what it is to fix it.
If that happens again read what it sais and tell me. It writes the reason of crash.

Bug reporting:
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

This will be official soon :highfive:
I'm really liking this ROM now that it is updated. GPS works, so I can use it. Fingerprint enrollment does not work, though, on a clean install with no Magisk. Also, and I don't think this is your fault, but I can only view this thread on a browser on my PC. There is some kind of URL parsing error when I try with the XDA Labs app on my phone.

Fingerprint works if you apply the solution mentioned in thread of crdroid pie. I did it and mine is working fine as before.
That's not working for me. I'll probably resort to dirty flashing it over a Nougat or Oreo build.
Couldn't customize navigation bar or hide it. Missing Expanded desktop tool. All others are working fine.
We're official!
02/17 Official build is up: https://ota.aosiprom.com/kiwi

Hey, coldhans:
DotOS 3.x based on pie has released few days ago. Would you like to build DotOS 3.x for kiwi?
Greatly appreciate it.

I definitely don't want to do that, and please keep this thread related to AOSiP only.

No. .....
I can't seem to find the settings to enable the built-in dark theme. There is an option to enable "Black AF" when in dark mode, but no toggle for dark mode. Am I looking in the wrong place (display settings), or is it not there?
2/24 OTA update is out!
https://ota.aosiprom.com/kiwi
Changelog:
Code:
Settings: change default night light brightness
SystemUI: Show bluetooth battery level when available
WeatherClient: miscellaneous improvements
SEPolicy updates
Removed quick unlock (buggy for longer pins)
Automatic translation import
SmartActions backend support
Actions: Add ringer modes
CustomActions: Add ringer modes
BlackAF: bring inline with recent changes to dark
Add Wellbeing BlackAF theme
Support system-as-root A-only backuptool
Telephony: Support muting by RIL command
ConsumerIR: Support Huawei's DSP chip implementation
RIL: Allow overriding RadioResponse and RadioIndication
CustomActions: Add support to launch applications
SquishyNavbar: If power saver is on, don't allow feedback
CustomActions: Screen off availability
ActionUtils: Add screen on action
Properly add TurboPrebuilt and updated Wellbeing
SystemUI: fix landscape powermenu layout
Add busybox
Fingerprint enrollment worked with clean install (yay), and dark theme toggle was there. Then I realized it had been missing because substratum was installed (duh), so that was never a bug.
I found that Cast crashes System UI upon trying to connect to a wireless display, just like it used to happen on Arrow OS ROM. Hope you're so kind as to fix it like you did it for Arrow. I'm attaching my logcat to this post, just in case.

Goes without saying but, truly appreciate your work bringing a variety of really cool ROMs to this phone!
---------- Post added at 08:26 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:06 PM ----------
And for you guys who are wondering whether you should switch over to this ROM, I say it's a close cousin of Arrow and crDroid and Lineage and whatnot, in terms of overall look and feel, the merit being it contains even less system apps (not even a basic music player app or a browser) which translates to about 1GB more free storage compared to crDroid. It has fair amount of customization available but not as customizable as crDroid. (that one is pure gold when it comes to UI tweak options) What's more I get the feeling AOSiP is more responsive comparatively and the UI lag is less here, but I might just be imagining things.
hi
