This is Candy Pie for the Lenovo Zuk Z2 Plus. Built straight from source with commits from a variety of different Sources/ROMS. We wanted to give the users a fun, fully customisable ROM, with regular updates and security patches.
We do this as a hobby, and we happily share the Candy of our toils with the custom ROM community, for free. We use what we share on our own devices, most as Daily Drivers, so you can be confident that problems will be promptly addressed.
Thanks for your support and camaraderie. Special thanks to GZOSP, GZR-ROMs, LineageOS, SlimRoms, OmniROM, AOSiP, DU and the innumerable rest who make their source open. We can't do all of this on our own!
Donations are appreciated, but NEVER expected.
Stay tuned for more Candy!
Special thanks to GZOSP, GZR-ROMs, LineageOS, SlimRoms, OmniROM, AOSiP and all the rest who make their source open. We can't do all of this on our own.

Make sure you are on the latest stable firmware available here
1. If you're coming from another ROM:
Boot into TWRP
Flash ROM (link in 2nd post)
Flash OpenGApps
Flash the latest stable Magisk
Wipe Data and Cache
Reboot
2. If you're updating the ROM:
Reboot to recovery
Wipe Data and Cache (A clean flash is always recommended, not compulsory)
Flash ROM
Flash OpenGApps
Flash Magisk
Reboot
Enjoy
NOTE:
If you have issues with Settings or Play Services force-closes you need to clean flash.
Please give first boot several minutes.
New additions and fixes being added constantly
If you have any other issue, please let us know in proper bug reporting fashion as indicated below.
Do NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed other shady mods.
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops and /sys/fs/pstore/dmesg-ramoops-0. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

Hello Dev,
Is that TWRP version a requirement for this ROM ??
Since Treble TWRP for Z2 Plus is at 3.2.2.0 I guess. and this is a Treble ROM so I believe the official TWRP (Please do correct me if I am wrong) can't be used for flash this one.
Last of all, thanks for the release.

Wew happy to see another pie rom with 4.x kernel

This will be official soon :highfive:
I'm really liking this ROM now that it is updated. GPS works, so I can use it. Fingerprint enrollment does not work, though, on a clean install with no Magisk. Also, and I don't think this is your fault, but I can only view this thread on a browser on my PC. There is some kind of URL parsing error when I try with the XDA Labs app on my phone.

Fingerprint works if you apply the solution mentioned in thread of crdroid pie. I did it and mine is working fine as before.
That's not working for me. I'll probably resort to dirty flashing it over a Nougat or Oreo build.
Couldn't customize navigation bar or hide it. Missing Expanded desktop tool. All others are working fine.
We're official!

I can't seem to find the settings to enable the built-in dark theme. There is an option to enable "Black AF" when in dark mode, but no toggle for dark mode. Am I looking in the wrong place (display settings), or is it not there?
2/24 OTA update is out!
https://ota.aosiprom.com/kiwi
Changelog:
Code:
Settings: change default night light brightness
SystemUI: Show bluetooth battery level when available
WeatherClient: miscellaneous improvements
SEPolicy updates
Removed quick unlock (buggy for longer pins)
Automatic translation import
SmartActions backend support
Actions: Add ringer modes
CustomActions: Add ringer modes
BlackAF: bring inline with recent changes to dark
Add Wellbeing BlackAF theme
Support system-as-root A-only backuptool
Telephony: Support muting by RIL command
ConsumerIR: Support Huawei's DSP chip implementation
RIL: Allow overriding RadioResponse and RadioIndication
CustomActions: Add support to launch applications
SquishyNavbar: If power saver is on, don't allow feedback
CustomActions: Screen off availability
ActionUtils: Add screen on action
Properly add TurboPrebuilt and updated Wellbeing
SystemUI: fix landscape powermenu layout
Add busybox
Fingerprint enrollment worked with clean install (yay), and dark theme toggle was there. Then I realized it had been missing because substratum was installed (duh), so that was never a bug.
I found that Cast crashes System UI upon trying to connect to a wireless display, just like it used to happen on Arrow OS ROM. Hope you're so kind as to fix it like you did it for Arrow. I'm attaching my logcat to this post, just in case.

Goes without saying but, truly appreciate your work bringing a variety of really cool ROMs to this phone!
---------- Post added at 08:26 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:06 PM ----------
And for you guys who are wondering whether you should switch over to this ROM, I say it's a close cousin of Arrow and crDroid and Lineage and whatnot, in terms of overall look and feel, the merit being it contains even less system apps (not even a basic music player app or a browser) which translates to about 1GB more free storage compared to crDroid. It has fair amount of customization available but not as customizable as crDroid. (that one is pure gold when it comes to UI tweak options) What's more I get the feeling AOSiP is more responsive comparatively and the UI lag is less here, but I might just be imagining things.
hi
first sorry for my bad english

We do this as a hobby, and we happily share the Candy of our toils with the custom ROM community, for free. We use what we share on our own devices, most as Daily Drivers, so you can be confident that problems will be promptly addressed.
Thanks for your support and camaraderie. Special thanks to GZOSP, GZR-ROMs, LineageOS, SlimRoms, OmniROM, AOSiP, DU and the innumerable rest who make their source open. We can't do all of this on our own!
Donations are appreciated, but NEVER expected.
Stay tuned for more Candy!

Make sure you are on the latest stable ColorOS available here.
1. If you're coming from another ROM:
TWRP by @mauronofrio is recommended. Get it here. I have not tried using the official TWRP, I use this one only.
Boot into TWRP
Flash the latest stable ColorOS zip.
Reboot to recovery
Wipe System, Data and Cache
Flash ROM (link in 2nd post)
Flash OpenGApps
Flash the latest stable Magisk
3rd party mods (Like Xposed Framework or shady Magisk Modules) or custom kernels are NOT supported.
Reboot and enjoy
2. If you're updating the ROM:
Reboot to recovery
Flash Substratum rescue zip if you have a theme applied

What's not working:
Video Calling via LTE on the stock Phone app.
Fingerprint Sensor
SE Linux, just because I don't understand it and it is not a priority right now.
Notes:
Reviver Kernel is my own customized kernel, I might also work on this project too and release kernel zips in the future.
Fingerprint sensor HIDL needs to be updated/fixed to work with CandyROM and also requires additional work to be properly working, hence it is broken for now.
Changelog
18 Oct 2019- Initial Build
Oct 2019 security patches
Linux upstream v4.9.196
Updated Core Control prop
OK Guys so first build is here, we will go official once fingerprint sensor is fully functional!

Realme X supports this feature, can turn on wifi and hotspot at once. We can use phone as a wifi repeater.
Thanks for your hard work, I have been checking out reviews on candyrom on other devices and looks like I've decided to give it a go and make it my daily driver. Can't wait to flash it ?
@rajatgupta1998 I'm on latest stock color os , haven't flashed any custom ROMs yet , do I still need to flash color os from recovery before flashing candyrom or can I skip that step?
Thanks in advance!

Great work Devs. Can't wait for fingerprint to work ??
candyrom build Candy-RMX1901-9.0.0-TEST-20191018-0905.zip up and running on my phone. Followed the instructions as mentioned. There was just one hiccup , I got the message of "the current image(boot/recovery) have been destroyed and cannot boot" after flashing. I skipped flashing the color os recovery flashable as I was on latest stock color os. I flashed the vbmeta.zip from https://forum.xda-developers.com/realme-x/development/rom-pixel-experience-plus-edition-t3982497 to get out of that error and the os booted up fine.
The ROM is very clean. Given the fact its just the first build, its pretty good. Good job @rajatgupta1998 Thanks for your hard work!
Jio VOLte is works on this rom or not????
Flashed this ROM today and I noticed that the contents on the status bar aren't shifting themselves in (padding) according to the rounded corners on the phone. Any fix?
