yes it is fully global mi mix 3 files

This is fake / modded one and not an official global firmware.
I found "androidboot.verifiedbootstate=green androidboot.selinux=permissive" hack in boot.img, which should not be included in retail firmware (it's even not included in China official firmware)

It is not global official firmware. True
But hey this dev made a multilanguage ROM out of the China dev ROM. Of course there are some patches. For example ramdisk patch from magisk etc. To get it to work.
No one forces you to use this. Please be a bit respectfull

Then OP should state it's unofficial global rom.
Unofficial global rom itself is not a bad thing, but bad reseller will flash it and sell it as official global version.

The moment a Global ROM shows up, we'll let you all know. We're monitoring for perseus_global builds already, but none are public.

What's the right command for system.img? (i'm ok with others)

This is thead you are looming for

nice try mate. and maybe it works also for you.
i looked into the files and their are also from "polaris" which is MiMix 2s ... sure Miui 10 is similiar.
but this is a Port from Mi Mix2s . a mix of both phone files..
ro.vendor.build.fingerprint=Xiaomi/polaris/polaris:8.0.0/OPR1.170623.032/V9.5.19.0.ODGMIFA:user/release-keys
ro.vendor.build.description=polaris-user 8.0.0 OPR1.170623.032 V9.5.19.0.ODGMIFA release-keys
if you want that users have it more comfortable make a system.img dump out of your running system
the files you uploaded for system and vendor are not dump images. and most users can not handle them..
you know how to make system.img and vendor.img dump ?
send me a private message if not , i will explain it to you

Mi Mix 3 is using A/B partitioning. A/B doesn't have a separate recovery partition. So this dump is most likely fake..

No specific Indian version hasn't been released yet.
This is Chinese version, but this ROM also has English included. So you can easily flash and set it up for English.
You can find the link for the recovery ROM in the OP. It can be directly flashed through TWRP or some other custom recovery.
Thanks...

No it fails to flash using twrp. Either I am not updated with current version of twrp is a reason or it may only be flashed with stock recovery.
I would have rather used fastboot ROM in order to update basband ,for better network and less battery drain.
one of the most welcome feature of this miui6 update is that u can use any of the sims either 1or 2 for 3g services without physically changing sim slots.
Official beta global miui6 has also been released, check miui forum for more details.

[ROM][8.0.0] MIUI 9 GLOBAL Beta Rom 8.2.1 based on Oreo [scorpio][02.03.2018]

This is a beta rom so as the name implies you may encounter various problems/bugs.
Fastboot (unlocked bootloader)(erases all your internal storage):
http://bigota.d.miui.com/8.3.1/scor....1_20180301.0000.00_8.0_global_7127f41234.tgz
Recovery (TWRP and unlocked bootloader)(full wipe highly recommended):
http://bigota.d.miui.com/8.3.1/miui_MINote2Global_8.3.1_74f30a299a_8.0.zip
The update has been suspended at the moment but download links are still working... Anyway you flash the packages at your own risk, I don't assume any responsibilities for any bricked or exploded devices! This is only for sharing purposes!
Thank I very much for sharing
Thank you!

Well if you like risking a hard brick you can download that file, rename it update.zip and put it in the folder downloaded_rom. Then go to the miui updater app and it should see it as an update and the installation will start. The problem is that if you are on locked bootloader without TWRP and the flash goes wrong you can throw away your phone...

No risk, no fun... I used the option in the updater and it doesn't allow me to install it. Probably because I need special privileges... In any case, these are excellent news for custom ROMs
Edit: previous to the installation of the .ZIP it asks me to be connected to the internet... It can't be connected without being connected to the internet. So definitely they check if the user is allowed to install it.
Anyways. Anyone using the ROM can give some feedback, please?
Installed by twrp and running perfect ... for now no failure
routed with magisk 16.0
So installed last TWRP, wiped all data and storage for decryption, all went ok, inastalled oreo beta rom and magisc 16, during booting phone first get encrypted again and then rom boots up. Restarting back to TWRP is asking for password again to decrypt phone. So because of that I get back to nougat and TWRP 3.1.1.0 because that is only one that is not asking password. So please help and inlight me what I was doing wrong.

You have to be in the Beta Team to install those packages with the updater app. The method the Super Moderator recommended me is fastboot because it's an android version update. The ROM worked fine in the first day , no important bug that can prevent it to be a daily driver.

Mi A2 LITE - I am searching for a dump of 9.6.2.0

In Italy (where I am living) there is an important issue about 2° SIM slot
After the last update (9.6.4.0) it is not running well: the SIM introduced has not been recognized
This is the reason for which I am searching for previous version
Is there any possibility to find it ?
Thanks a lot
Paolo
Only Xiaomi could provide a link to download it.
Or, it could be possible to dump the partitions from a phone that still runs on that version, by unlocking its bootloader and using some terminal commands and/or adb. But it's a headache doing so.

A friend of mine has a device that is running 9.6.2.0 but at now it has bootloader locked ...
Unfortunately the unlocking comes with a full data wipe and so ... I am managing with it the thing ...
My idea is hot boot to custom recovery the device running 9.6.2.0 and perform only a system nandroid backup and flash it to the device that is running 9.6.4.0
Is it a bad idea ??

I don't know, it should work but I don't know if the radio partitions (probably the only partitions that could fix the bug) are included in the nandroid backup.
What build version are you running now in your phone?

Another remote possibility is that your phone was on 9.6.2.0, then you updated via OTA to 9.6.4.0 and you stopped updating. Only in that case, in the inactive slot there will be still the 9.6.2.0 versions of the partitions.

It's a treble ROM, like this:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a2-lite/development/9-0-pixelexperience-p-unofficial-t3840551
But as it doesn't touch the radio partitions (only the system partition), I doubt it will resolve.
But many settings are stored on /system, maybe... Give it a try if you can.
I have an issue like that.. but in my case none of the two slots recognize my sim card, I'm from México. How do you think I can fix this?
I have 10 days with this problem, tried 9.6.4.0, 9.6.6.0, 9.6.8.0 and some of the GSI ROMS and none of that seems to fix the issue.

Hi, I confirm it.
In early August I bought a MI A2 lite in Italy that came out with V.9.6.2.0 stock firmware.
I updated it immediately via OTA to V.9.6.4.0, but I used it with one sim (SIM 1 slot) only for some days,
When I inserted an additional sim in slot 2 I experienced the problem, but thinking of an hardware failure, I was able to get it replaced by store.
In the meantime I read about this bug and my second MI A2 Lite wasn't updated at all, and is currently running on V.9.6.2.0 yet, without problems.
Tried to open a bug report to xiaomi but I had no useful answers (yet) but a standard reply from some indian people, I guess, from a self naming "MIUI bug hunter team":

Follow the procedure carefully again:
- Wipe system, cache/ART dalvik, data.
- Format data
- Sideload the rom or transfer to your internal/external memory.
- Flash the rom zip.
- No need to flash twrp installer.
- Flash disable encryption
- Reboot normally, it´ll take about 10 minutes.
This is to get Miui works but to return to stock or a custom based rom I did other steps.
Get u give me the link in zip format to flash it? Thanks
