Please Is there a way to add mode 4g only in my mate 20 x :confus: ???
It switches at random to 3g, I need only 4g force

Because the 4g does not make calls but me on my second chip I use only internet

When u make calls it auto switches to 3G .. because they still don't fully using 4G .. and VoLTE in in very narrow areas.. + u have to be subscribed..
If u select 4G only u end up no service .. instead of having switching from 4G to no service you rather leave it to switching to 3G ..
Can u run 4g simultaneously on both SIM cards ?

Yes I can, I tried with Database Setting application but it does not work. Before I used Toggle Network application on my Huawei mate 8 rottled

I bought a new desire hd and when I tried to connect on 3g it didn't . the service is working very well and i edit access point .
I need to know how to make the phone working on 3g...

It will only work if your cell company uses the same 3g band the phone is designed for. If not then it will never work and you will only get edge

Just trying to understand if you've done the Troubleshooting right.
1- Is 3G Enabled in Settings? (Network Type Selection -> WCDMA Preffered)
2- Is Mobile Data Enabled?
3- Does your network support 3G?
4- How do you know 3G isn't working? Is the phone showing "G" in the status bar next to Signal Strength or is it showing an "H" or "3G". "H", by the way, is better than 3G.

Go to Setting / More... / Mobile Networks (in the bottom). And you set Network Mode you hope.
it means that ur phone supports gprs only it doesnt support edge if it does edge will be written in place of gprs..
also if u use 3g or 4g it will automatically change to 3g or 4g..

Okay, thanks for the info. What's the difference in those network types?
the speed of gprs is 56kbps and edge has speed of 236kbps
it means u will get 8KB/second on gprs and 25KB/sec on edge..
when u use mobile data which sign shows above network bar..

Does it also affect the SMS sending and receiving, Calls in my phone?

I put v10j on my French phone and now network speed is only 0.2 instead of 20 mbps on 4g and cannot activate LTE .
Could you help me please ?

Yes, and when I want to change to 3G/4G mode it works, but when I go again in the window everything is back to 3G... And 4G seems not faster than 4G
i know this is the G3 forum. but i have a LG 4G h811 from tmobile.. am not on tmobile network. my carrier provides 2g-3g-and sometimes 4g... networks.. but mine doesnt show 3G network and 4G network drops most of the time..
is 3g network working on G3 phone.? is there a way to enable 3G network./?

well on mine theres GMS/ CDMA ..... GMS/CDMA and GMS.CDMA.LTE auto..
what ever i choose its always at 4G. or 2G... never on 3G.

I already told u before it only works on 3g but it shows 4g... Check the speed test also ...only in tmbl network u get 4g lte speeds

Ur better of to use wifi or 3g...u can try enabling the bands like it said in there from the hidden menu but i doubt it will work what it says u need to flash the correct bands n then enable the LTE of ur carrier...i never tried this

ive stopped when i need it NEtframwork am on tiny7 and NEtframerok its stripped and doesnt work.

I know it is, but try to select it, and see if it does anything. On my phone, the network type doesn't change no matter what I select

Can't be because of the sim because I usually do this when I use the phone as a hot-spot to keep the phone in 4g. But I haven't used this option in a while, about the same time I upgraded to ob21... I just wanted to make sure it's not because of it. Thank you

Seriously now, tried but no luck
What I know, there must exist support on Phone (ok), SIM (ok), LTE (ok) and telecom provider (nok). Phone must be on "white list". I have the same problem.
I had success eith this om SIM1 only when I first got my OP3T, but now it doesnt work any more It still switches to 3g for calls whereas before it did not, but dropped the calls.
I need LTE only often where 3g and 4g are both bad and the phone keeps rolling over between the two. I just need net at that time.
Anyone succeeded in ysimg some app for this?
