Team Bliss is pleased to present to you
Bliss 7.3​
Bliss is one of the most highly customizable roms that you can install on your mobile device as well as your PC, and we hope you have a truly blissful experience.
Bliss-caf is CAF based, optimized, and includes the most features out of all our branches. More features and devices are being added weekly to this branch. It will be the most updated.
Bliss-decaf is AOSP based, slimmed down, optimized, and included a ton of extra features added in from various roms, and we will continue to add more as they become available. We will keep up to date with the latest AOSP code, and updates will be posted on a regular basis, but not as often as out Bliss-CAF branch.
Bliss-x86 is our Bliss for PC project, will have a few PC centric extras added in to help with application compatibility, mouse integration, keyboard shortcuts, tc. And we have added a few little linux throwbacks like bash and busybox commands, integrated Terminal and much more.
Please do not ask for ETA's. We will update the links as soon as they become available.

Bliss-x86 comes with OpenGapps built in (Because there is no way for us to use a recovery on a PC) For all mobile devices and tablets, we recommend using any of the following sets of GApps:

Team Bliss is not responsible in any way for anything that happens to your device in the process of flashing.
Please familiarize yourself with flashing and custom rom use before attempting to flash the rom.
Please make sure you download the correct version of Bliss for your specific device. The links are labeled clearly.
FIRST CHECK SECOND POST - Make sure your device doesn't have any special instructions.
Make sure you are rooted.
Make sure you have a custom recovery installed. (TWRP is the preferred recovery)
Download the latest Bliss Rom & the latest GApps package.
Boot into recovery.
Backup your current ROM
Perform a FULL factory wipe and wipe/system and dalvik cache as a precaution
Flash Bliss Rom
Flash Google Apps package (for 7.1!)
Flash Root of your choice (Unless OP states otherwise)
First boot may take up to 10 minutes. This is due to Gapps and root optimization.
If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you and our team quite some time.
-Download the Catlog app from the Play Store.
There is also a donate version which you can purchase to show appreciation.
-After downloading the Catlog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
-Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving.
-As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into Catlog and stop the log recording.
-Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
-Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the forum with a brief description of the error.
-You can also open trouble tickets on our website for bugs.

I flashed Bliss-v7.3-kiwi-OFFICIAL-20170421-1421.zip & opengapps pico. Everything works well.

The one ending in 1421 is the build I made testing out the video fixes that worked. So use that one

No known stock camera port working on... There is one by Gopi in themes section. You can try that

-running service on statusbar (nothing happen on click)

Can you check adb is working for log ?? My adb is offline. Every time I try to run adb devices ! But it does shows device serial number ?

Just an update, I'm chasing down what we need to get doze running properly (save us some battery life), jsbeyond is doing good at hunting down fixes for a few other issues too, so we will get those all sorted soon enough and be back with another update in a Blissful bit

overall ROM is great. But please check whether ADB is working with the ROM. I was checking for logs but the device was always offline. Then i flashed another then device was online. So ADB is properly installed on the computer. I suppose there is issue with the ROM adb detection. Great smoothness though.... :good:

Will be fixed in next update, it doesn't show correct number of bars but data and calls work flawlessly.

Great great ROM. Getting really good battery backup and performance is much better than pie. All functions working flawlessly. Kudos to the developer.

Hi, sorry for being a noob but which gapps do i use for the non-gapps variant? open gapps doesn't let me download the 10 gapps and I am skeptical of the other gapps packages online.
Also, just a little off-topic question, I seem to not get mobile data working on the ROM (any custom ROM for that matter) even after setting the proper APN settings, what could be the reason?

Probably u did something that triggered it and also updater support is added from last build nd if it was too old one then not gonna work.
We all updated using Updater from last build only

OpenGapps are still at beta stages so their website will never show until its stable meanwhile u can use Bitgapps which we all use to and recommend the same without issues
Regarding mobile data does RIL work ? reflash vendor and see if that fixes if RIL works fine

I just downloaded the update and rebooted the device. Nothing else.

Got it, thanks!
I did flash the stock ROM (.88 vendor) and the data connect and then follow the guide to install a custom ROM and then the data works.
If I switch from a ROM to other ROM the data won't work for some reason, I have to flash stock and make sure the data is turned on atleast once for it to work in the ROM flashed subsequently.
It's a weird issue but it works so I don't mind.

Hello, I don't mean to ask for ETA but I was just intrigued so to ask if you plan to update the gapps build? I see the gapps build is still on 0916 whereas the gappless ones are on 1009, also is are there any change logs? I am 0916 gapp build and just want to be sure.

Thank you very much for the support you guys have provided. So far, the ROM has been amazing. Battery life is amazing. I can get 3 hours screen on time and almost 7 hours on standby in 50%. Well, I could have got even better battery backup but according to accubattery, I have only 2540 mAh left of the 3300mAh.

Hello sir. Appreciate your efforts for supporting Asus community. Need answers before I switch over to Bliss Android 10 for my Asus 5z
1. Is there a stock Camera app? If no which is the best alternative camera app.
2. Does this have Dual SIM 4G option? In stock rom this is present under Settings>Network>SIM Card
3. Does it have call record enabled in phone dialer?

Hi, brother. You'd better backup your rom and data, then try to use it . There are 2 different points from my using experinces:
1、Havoc is getting laggy from version 3.5 to latest. I dont know why. Bliss is smooth and stable.
2、About features, Bliss is a bit more than Havoc.
You can have a try. If you like it, stay it . Dont like, restore to Havoc.

I'm thinking of changing from the rom I am on at the moment which is Arrow 10. Would I need a certain firmware to run the rom?

If you use Arrow10, you don't need to change firmware. Arrow 10 is stable, but custom features are less. Now I have changed to using BlissRom 12.10. I think you will like it.

Clean install??? Mic works well so far on these apps like Phone, Wechat, IME, etc.

Always work fine on me (at least on my last 3x flashing this ROM). Even I install with Gapps (micro) which not recommended installed on Bliss Chiron.
1. Just make sure DISABLE "voice match" on google app *just in case* if you encounter mic problem on your Chiron.
2. Or you can simply disable mic permission on google app.
Hope it can help your mic issue...

Anyone getting this weird bug? I have Bluetooth headphones on and when I click volume up or down it shuts off the screen. Only on Bluetooth. Maybe a switch I hit and don't know about it.

Hi! If I lock the screen and unlock it with a fingerprint, I can't use the phone. It's like what's frozen. If you have a sample, then everything is fine. What could be the cause and the solution? Mi Mix 2, chiron. Bliss 12.11 thanks

Have you tried a different launcher?
I was on a different Rom and ran into that problem, switched launchers and everything was fine.

alright, i'll download and test it. will report my findings later

downloaded the latest version, wiped cache, data and dalvik, th3n flashed the zip with pb
result: fastboot bootloop

Where is "Ambient Music Ticker" Setting?
I can't find this setting on Bliss Miatoll 2020.09.15 build.
This setting is default ON .
When Playing music if changed song ,It makes phone display is ON few seconds

the rom does not finish flashing, I get an error to mount "system-root" no such file or directory

Can someone explain to me how the rom is flashed because I do not understand that being root before flashing, I am in corvus rom and and tried to flash this rom following the instructions
1 full factory wipe
2 clear cache and dalvik * system does not appear in my twrp
3 flash the rom but in the end it gives me the error of "failed partition system-root no such file or directory
Someone who has successfully flashed could help me

What is it XiaomiDoze? I'm asking because I have some problem with doze and official ROM, so I would like to understand if it is an app to tune doze

Do Miatoll roms need twrp-unified-mauronofrio custom recovery to flash? or I can flash them with any custom recoveries like pitchblack
I mean, is the miatoll device tree embedded in the rom file or need an especiall custom recovery like that I said ?

First try flashing stock or something like the miui based ROMs that let you flash them in twrp THEN boot into miui. After that you should be able to wipe data etc... And flash the ROM . took me alot of trial and error to realize you need to be coming from stock (at least in my experience)

Edit:also there is a little mistake by end of post which have written redmi note8:good:

this rom is god tier, has everything i need, has nice ram management, the xiaomi features includes kcal + profile, mi sound enchancer + clear sound and xiaomi doze is really good. ouh also we got a working 190 anx camera (not 185) you are a good dev :good:
note : i flash on twrp recovery, fail to boot on pbrp... also i use pico gapps 20200909, dev recomend nano

I think there's something missing in installation guide. After formatting system/dalvik and flash magisk. How can i download that app on the next step if i dont have OS ?pls give us clean installation guide otherwise we will end up bricking our device

Reboot to recovery and try again

Best most stable rom on here
Very happy to have switched to this, coming from another custom rom just factory reset and make sure only data, cache and metadata are mounted, flash rom and reboot. Then reboot recovery flash Magisk 20.4.zip. I'm a nanodroid user so I change the scripts to in overlay to remove things i don't want like bliss stats, fm radio etc. I flash busybox by osmosis as a module in magisk (after updating manager and re-installing magisk from inside manager app, just as a precaution), then flash nanodroid in magisk (edit nanodroid-apps, nanodroid-overlay and nanodroid-setup before flashing). I've ended up with the most functional de-googled 9s since i started on this phone. Can customize everything and absolutely love the FULLY functional ANX, you dev are a genius!!
Not sure about how one goes about flashing gapps, but if its anything like flashing system version of nanodroid (as opposed to magisk module) then just make sure vendor, system and product are not mounted, flash and reboot (ignore warning about count not mount system_root.)

Rom is good no problem camera, games, but only problem is that 1. it's battery issue I've already changed the kernel and revert to original kernel It drained not normal.
2 charging speed (not as fast as stock miui ) also
3. gaming mode not working ( gaming mode is enable navigation bar still clickable , even i changed it to gesture mode not working. Swiping on buttom, game always direct on home ,. Messages and notification still pop up when ongame even I changed it already)

Got this installed. Seems smoooooooth. I love it.

well, that was kinda short lived, tried using bank app, could detect root even though magisk hide was on and safetynet all passed. I'll try to do something, maybe i was the one who did something wrong.
EDIT: fixed it hehe also hid magisk manager

Great ROM! Works smoothly and much better than the stock MIUI 11. However I've noticed mild annoyance with vibration notifications - after you switch to "silent" or "DND" mode and then revert back to sound notifications, vibration doesn't return, it's still off. That's seems to be a global issue - not just for notifications and keystrokes, but on ringing as well.
Is it actually a bug, or am I missing some option in the Bliss customizations?

Portrait mode doesn't work with back camera. It doesn't load the camera but the apps doesn't crash, it just shows a blurry image, you can switch to other modes though.

I'm using LRTWRP and in my case, Vendor Partition was unchecked by default (not mounted). I think it's not nessesary to uncheck (hide) because BlissRom is flashing Vendor and Firmware by itself.
