It's annoying to have to see that the curved edges hides content from the screen. Especially when you play.
ADB would not be able to reduce the available screen real estate: the screen driver would need to be rewritten. An app that sets a black background for the status and navigation bars would work, except for games that play in full screen.
You're simply going to have to deal with this, or purchase a device without rounded corners.

I squished it down to fit the lock screen but still hold the retro look of the original box.
If your using the stock OS from Bell (never tried any others) And set the Clock
to the BOTTOM position, it is set just right so that the clock will not cover any
of the graphics and will show up on the black.

I have tried all launchers and none can do it.
Im only using one Home screen as im building my galaxy in a car and im making a car home screen, the problem is i want to add icons and widgets to close edge of the screen but its too far off. i have tried settings margin 0px but doesnt work so it must be in a SystemUI but i dont know where, anyone have an idea what i need to do ?
This one is mine, as you can see the Navigation Widget is not on the edge of the screen and also the Gmail.

3 days back my s9 got upgraded, and after that I can see something on right side of my screen on edge. It looks same when you turn on the feature edge screen. But it's not same because if I turn on edge screen I can see 2 white long bars one acts as edge screen where i can slide and see apps but the other one is just sits there..even if i turn off my edge screen i can see that extra bar which doesn't do anything but I can see..can anyone explain plz. Please find the URL for the image. In image the part i have highlighted is not edge screen feature but that bar looks exactly same

Hi everyone,
After the One UI update I noticed I get a weird icon in the notification bar whenever i launch an app like Instagram, Facebook, or even when i close the Apps Edge bar. It's only there for a fraction of a second so I can't swipe down to see what it is. After multiple attempts I managed to printscreen when it appeared

Makes sense I guess. It doesn't show up when I start apps regularly (not using the Edge shortcut)
Anyone have this case: the undo/redo button is missing for the full screen mode, but it can be found in the smaller screen. Can this problem be fixed?

I have the undo/redo buttons in both modes. US/English version.
What is your icon to the left of the paperclip (attachment) icon at the upper right? I don't have that, and you don't have it in the split-screen mode where you have your undo option, so maybe that is some sort of mode? I can't find a way to get that icon/change a mode, so I don't know.
problem fixed after reset in the personalized toolbar opinion. I think that's caused by updated new version.
