Works on my LS993.
No wide angle camera and I still seem to get better shots with the Google Camera app, but it works well and is very smooth.

Google camera is the best app

I've tried the Lenovo Camera with the Stock ROM, and it seemed OK.
And the picture quality is close to stock. But well.. I only tested with the stock ROM.
Sadly, there are not many video modes like the stock G3 camera.. but it's better than a blurry picture

I can't actually install HTC M9 camera because all download links have been removed.
What camera have I to install?I saw some camera like Snapdragon Camera or Moto Camera.
P.S. sorry for bad english, but i'm from Italy.

Thanks,
can you give me a link to oneplusone camera? Is there a guide on this forum?
If you look up jishnus camera mods and go to the Google plus page and go to the download section get the htc m10 camera mod. In my opinion the picture quality is similar to stock and the video is decent(better than other camera apps) look 30fps is good only still no 60fps and 4k gets about 15fps and isn't worth using

And I have "Snap Camera HDR", like a professional camera with functions
this both apps can do more than original camera from AOSP
I make Lightroom adobe camera.. N i will to try download snap HDR now.

Anyone find a Google camera mod that's takes advantage of the wide angle lens?
Night photo crashes the app, also unable to focus in this mode.
Video and regular photos works fine.
Not possible to switch between lenses.
The latest GCam based off 7.x found here : https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/google-camera-mods/google-camera-urnyx05-t3937515 supports toggling between the different lens (wide, main, tele) - you need to go to advanced to turn it on within the GCam app. However, the tele button is not routing properly and is instead going to the 5mp depth sensor, not the actual telephoto lens. The wide and main work fine though.
I just downloaded and installed the mentioned GCam. I can confirm that tele doesn't properly route (and portrait doesn't seem to work). If there's fix for that, it would be infinitely better than the bundled Moto camera app!
I compared side-by-side photos from stock vs Gcam and Motorola's image processing is almost on par with Google's. Portrait photos with the stock is excellent. I only use Gcam in odd lighting situations.
This one works great, and allows to use wide and tele lenses. Anly problem so far - night sight does not work with standard lens, and there is no slow motion.

Hello,
version 2.0 of wyroczens RN8P mod works with all lenses!
The only problem is, it crashes sometimes when zooming on all lenses.
You have some configs for GCam_RN8P_Wyroczen_7.3.020_2.0.apk (wyroczen) ?

Yw!
Actually i had the previous version installed and everything was set.
In Configuration you may go to "Lens Configuration" Activate the three lenses.
Here my setup is:
Main: Oneplus tree
Tele: Oneplus Double tree
Wide: OnePluse Triple tree
I hope that helps!
Cheers

Try the Wichaya port: Wichaya V 2.8.1
The wichita seems to work great, not bug nor crash, even while zooming until now after fresh new install. Focussing seems also to be working well, just the telefoto lens ID (ID4) too much VW for my taste '-). Btw does anyone else found out that since A10, on regular moto camera 2 apps (7.3.6.14-denali), the 3x is not using the telefoto lens IN AUTOMATIC MODE, but instead the main lens digitally zoomed!!! (and as a 12MP output). Naturally, worse results than GCAM using the right lens at 3x. Can someone else confirm that silly behavior on the Moto cam App?? however, it does switch to the telefoto Lens if you choose MANUAL Mode. Strange!!?

Liking it more so far. Tried both and it seems to take better pictures and videos than the stock app. Couple little bugs though. The slow motion doesn't seem to work properly or I'm doing something wrong but I think that it looks better and is easier to just point focus and take the shot. Sometimes focus can be weird with it though. I'll have to play with both more but I believe overall it's better because the images have come out better

Will this work without using the XML files? I'm guessing we need root to be able to use them. I don't want to root this phone. I've used a ported GCam on my Moto G5S Plus without root. I've tried this one on the Stylus and it seems to work, but I don't know if I'm just not seeing something.

Thanks. I figured out that with the phone not rooted you can't use the XML files until you first save your own XML file. Then you can put the XML file(s) in whatever folder yours was created and saved. Anyway, I've also just been using it without the XML files and it's been working great.
It's so nice to finally be able to use a newer 64-bit version of the Google Camera. I was never able to get any custom ROM working properly on my previous Moto G5S Plus, so I was stuck with the stock 32-bit ROM which greatly limited the version of Google Camera I could use. The shot-to-shot speed (with HDR+) is sooooo much faster. The 32-bit version was barely usable.
Ultracam is working pretty well. Haven't figured out how to switch rear cams yet. Slow motion and night sight works.
Thanks for this thread, any updates on what gcam version and xml work best with g stylus?
I just got the Moto G Stylus today, installed Parrot043's Gcam 7.3 (MGC_7.3.020_Parrot043_V7.apk) from here --> https://www.cyanogenmods.org/downloads/parrot043-gcam-7-3-020/
1. The Gcam definitely takes better pictures than the stock Moto cam
2. When I go to the Settings --> Advance --> Focus Tracking and enable it, then switch to Video, Gcam crashes. I find this odd since in the pull down settings from the top, MOTION is set to "Auto"
I'm doing some research on any Gcam ports + config.xml files that will allow the use of the taking pictures using the Ultra Wide lens. I'll paste what I find so far here
1. Arnova8G2 and Urnyx05 (not sure what the best config.xml would be to try) --> https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...camera-arnova8g2-urnyx05-builds-t4043633/amp/

I'm really looking forward to finding out what setup works the best on the better camera of the g stylus, considering how well it worked on the G Fast and G power. Thanks for the links.
I have the 7.3 Urnyx05 by Wichaya, and all looks work well with no crashes. You can use ultrawide lent and macro too. The ultrawide appears like "2x" in the interface and the macro like "0.6x". I've load the xml for G8 Plus but don't like the photos taken with front camera.

In https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/f/configs-wichaya-02/ there's configs for "Moto G8 Plus" and "Moto G8 Power/Moto G Power"...would it make more sense for a Moto G Stylus phone to use the "Moto G8 Power/Moto G Power" config? I haven't much luck with the gcam and xml combos, some combos you get a wide cam but it's seems to a stretched out shot. For pure quality shots on the main camera, latest parrot seems to be the way to go.

I use Moto G8 Plus config cos I think the sensor of main camera is the same, the specs are the same.
One thing, in the Wichaya port the ultrawide sensor is enabled for the photos.

No go for me. Once I restored the XML and clicked on the 2x option to see the ultrawide angle view, the camera pp just crashes. I Force Stop it, re-open, and it crashes with an error "Camera keeps stopping" no matter what. I guess I'll just stick with the Parrott Gcam.

I haven't that problem, try cleaning the app cache.
I have Moto G Pro, the international version of Moto G Stylus.
Alright I got the Wichaya GCam installed and loaded with the Moto G8 Plus config xml and it loadsand gives the Macro and Wide angle lens as an option. However as kywildcat mentioned, the wide angle gives a stretched out look in the viewfinder. Guess I'll uninstall this and stick with Parrot's GCam.
Any current good working gcam for this device? I tried parrots but app crashes when I try to open it so it does not work.
