Mirror Link option absent on my Lg g7 thinkQ model - LG G7 ThinQ Questions & Answers

Hi to all.
I recently bought this smartphone with the objective to use with the multimidia of my Peugeot 208 car.
I search and saw previously the manual and find LG-G710PM model wich support it. But my phone came without that option. My model is LMG710EMW bought in Brazil. That option is hide? Are they the same firmware or not? Can I obtain G710PM Rom for my one? Please help!

This should be pretty straightforward using bluetooth connectivity which is the most basic and should work. Please post your query in more detail.

D855 showcase model doesn't update

Hi, I bought a discounted showcase model today in the Netherlands. It has a "not for sale" sticker under the battery. Phone works fine; but it doesn't show me any software updates nor can the LG mobile support PC tool find any. It's running android 4.4.2 / V10a-EUR-XX. What can I do to update the phone? Is this because it's a demo phone ?

Revealing hidden language permanently

So a friend of mine bought the LG g4 in Europe (model v10d-eu-xx) and when he updated the software the Hebrew language disappeared (no menus in that language). This issue is common since the company who sell the LG phones in Israel do it to force us the Israeli costumers buy it from them and not cheaper from abroad.
We can reveal the language by using the app more locale 2 but it losses it's affect when rebooting (nees to set it every reboot).
I wanted to know if there's a way to make it permanent (even if it requires root), there was a way on LG g3 that combines root and some adb commands but it doesn't work on the LG g4.
Thanks for your help, I hope to get some good news
*flashing the Israeli kdz doesn't work
*the model in Israel is named h815L but the root and everything is similar to the European h815.
I believe that a workaround was discovered and detailed in this thread:

Thanks, I'll talk to the op there

[Q] Asus FonePad FE7010CG-1A010A?

Hi everybody, A while ago I have bought a Dual-SIM 7" tablet Asus FonePad FE7010CG-1A010A (manufactured August 2014) that I am very satisfied with.
Unfortunately I have not been able to find on the internet the right manual and documentation for this model. The exact model link is available only on the Asus website for China, but the downloaded documentation is written for the model Asus FonePad 7 FE170CG.
I have no idea what is the true difference between these two models, therefore maybe somebody more knowledgeable can enlighten me here on this forum, please.
I live in Europe, so is this FonePad FE7010CG-1A010A dedicated for Europe? So far it works fine, I have no complaint.
What about if this FonePad FE7010CG-1A010A is designed for the Chinese market, as I have heard, would this bring me any drawback while used in Europe?
Many thanks!

N930X - Is this an actual regional variant of Note 7 or used only for display models?

I'm currently browsing in Qatar and keep seeing N930X as the model number for the displayed Note 7s in various different shops - Is this the Middle-East regional variant or is the "X" part of model number just used for display handsets??
What model number does your Note 7 have if you have purchased it in the Middle-East? Is it Dual-SIM??
dubai - n930fd
I live in mexico, and the displayed units have that 930x too, the model sold here is 930F, so, I think that the "X" indicates a demo unit
Philippines, X is also the display unit and FD is sold here.
Finland, N930X is the unit in the stores and N930F being sold.
Thanks people - so to confirm, N930X = a demo unit model number.
I managed to check the retail box today (...should have done it before posting this thread, duh!) - I can confirm that in Qatar it is N930FD (dual-SIM).
Now to decide if I should go for it or still stick to my Note5 for now in the unlikely hope of custom ROMs to extend its appeal-life......
man, if you found some help, do not forget the thanks button
I need help putting another n930 variant on n930x

Only way to make it work like a phone is to change the mainboard. The X models are demo unit with all the functions except cellular.

Dual sim lg g7

Hello mates,
I'd like to ask you if it is possible to convert an lg g7 thinq "single sim" to "dual sim" in some way or if it exists any good adapter to do it.
Could anyone help me?
Thanks in advance!
The microsd slot actually can serve as another sim slot if you turn it sideways
Not every module actually supports it even when there is a place for it.

It seems that the hardware is there but it's disabled. IDK how to enable it but even if I could there is no IMEI for the second sim.
After watching the jerryrigs vid about the LG G7 and seeing some VNese vids about the converting process of the korean Samsung s8 and more, I kinda believe that the possibility is there, but it'll take time til someone figure it out. I have the LM G710N korean single sim variant and also want to convert it to dual sim.
I think it will easier to buy one adapter like those sold on simore website.
The only problem is the price...
