This post is an 8 months old already. Can anyone help me please? Because this step is the only way that I can use to revive my table again.
Note: Hiding an app is just that: hiding. It will not disable apps. Settings > Applications > App -> Disable should be the instructions, if allowed to disable. You used to be able to hide in the default launcher itself.

Note: Hiding an app is just that: hiding. It will not disable apps. Settings > Applications > App -> Disable should be the instructions, if allowed to disable. You used to be able to hide in the default launcher itself.

Can you give an example how to do this exactly?
I opened a command prompt where adb shell is located, and the syntax I used was
c:\Users\.......\platform-tools\pm hide com.xxxxxxx.android.app
but got pm not recognized
When I wrote c:\Users\.......\platform-tools\adb pm hide com.xxxxxxx.android.app
I got a prompt with notes about proper use of adb.
Any help is appreciated. The hide function is probably the only feature I miss from the touchwiz launcher in the S6 Edge.

Use something like Nova Launcher if you want to do that.

If anyone has Permission issues such as Security exception: Neither user 2000 nor current process has android.permission.MANAGE_USERS.
1. type su, enter
2. now enter pm hide again
Only works with rooted phones
I suffered a lot, searched, read, tried, and succeeded.
This is important.
1. Installed is the latest rom and one of Gapps.zip
2. Download from the AppOpsX app, a GITHUB hosting site
3. Developer options, USB debugging enable. Install it, set it up. SU is right.
4. Enable ADB "from this computer". 2x. (AppOpsX throws up the window. Photo 2.)
5.. You give Google Apps the missing permissions.
6. You are saving the settings. (Right above, only modified applications)
7. If you have a problem after restarting, you will be able to reset this backup.
8. You grant permission to NEOSAFE, Permission, AppOpsX for auto-start management.
If, after restarting, there is a problem, any Google Apps, Play store opens, locks lock in memory, airplane mode turns on, resumes AppOpsX rescue.
Lock out, airplane mode off, erase, re-enter, use.

A little bit differently works on every rom and GAPPS.
I do not know how well you are, adb shell command, package manager, etc.
Driver, adb is installed on pc. USB debugging yes.
Download the File Explorer app. Install. Home "Apps", "System apps", you can find which one does not work normally, click there.
Necessary root right. When the app details are opened, you will see the Permissions right and you will be drawn to the permissions that you will not receive from the application.
Here are some ready-made adb shell commands that I needed.

Just two things:
1. In file manager home I don't have APPS.
2. Still need airplane trick for playstore, right?
Im on Chinese Version 2.56 with Gapps, though still thereis error on some Gapps, at least the frequncy of Authenticating Error has been decreased.
Could you please comment on how you got there?
Which ROM did you install? And which GAPPS did you install?
I am running ROM V2.48 by ARCEOCTIX with working GAPPS.

2. Rarely, but yes.
I can not say what the reason for it is.
But sometimes it works just fine.
It is required only after 5x restart.
I installed, apkmirror is the latest Play Store.

Fix Google authorization is required Problem:-
Open the Settings -> Accounts -> Remove Or Delete Google Account.
Go To Setting -> Apps -> Force Stop and Clear Data Of (Download Manager, Google Play Store, Google Play Services, Google Services Framework, and Google Account Manager).
Set up your Google Account again.
Reboot The Device.

I prefer doing twrp, wipe data, cache, dalvik cache.
Remain as the Google apps system application.
Afterward, even some of the necessary permissions, adb shell, and are you sure everything works nicely.

I really hope there is an official international rom coming soon, must say i am rather dissapointed with my New nubia Z17, and on the verge of going back to my "old" le max 2 running a cuoco92 rom.
In most aspects i find my le max 2 is running much better than the z17, at the moment i only find the camera is better on the z17, everything else runs so much more smooth on my old phone.
Rather dissapointed in the z17, the hardware seems great but the software is lacking big time.

I'm also in this "Fight", I try everything and no result.
I'm try the ADB process but I always get the message "pm.grant" not recognized as a command.
Where do I find the pm.grant file to use ?

So there is no "point" between the two words, only space.

No metter the process, I already release all the permissions to all the google apps ( via pssOpsX) but still not possible to configure a google account.
It is useless without this function to me

Something a little funny. I'm with the 4.06 Arceoxis version. I can't update apps in wifi mode or 4g mode. I found 2 solutions :
Launch the update, for one apps, wait a little.
Power off the phone
Startup, PIN code. If the app is not very large, the download finishes and the update is installed.
I've to do it for each apps to update.
Or...
Wait until 1AM. The update process runs normally.
Any suggestion ?
PS. I always did the trick mentioned in this thread.
