Hide back button icon on navbar - Android 9 Pill gestures - OnePlus 5T Questions & Answers

Hello
I'm happy with testing Android Pie on my 5T, I also love new pie gesture with pill navbar, but since I use Nova Prime back button is always visible, I was looking over net for solution, for other phone model there is small app which let hide back icon and still keep possibility to use back option, but not working on 5T, did any one found solution to hide this icon?
Cheers.

I like using just the straight navigation gestures. Looks really clean

Hide NavBar Key

so i have been using a huawei device for the a few years and i have to admit that im somewhat dependent on 2 software features (no, not the terrible emui). the first, is the scrolling screen shot which is marvelous! the second is the hide navbar key.
i was able to use a module that simulated the huawei function but CM13+ broke that module and the dev has abandoned the project. anyway, since you can now add custom keys on the navbar, i was thinking why not add the ability to hide it??
its very convenient especially when reading since not all apps have immersion. please consider this as its becoming hard to live without. i have included a screen grab in the hope that it helps.

I believe that it is impossible in nougat.

Although not exactly, and different usability-wise.. you may want to look at Status. It's a status bar replacement app that hides the system status bar and draws an overlay on top. It might help you acheive something similar.
i know it's been a while, but the perfect color bars xposed module somewhat accomplishes the task

Navigation Pill Customisation

Hi
Is there a way to customise the navigation pill? I really like how you can switch between apps seamlessly but I wanna be able to hide the pill itself but then if I hide it from settings I can't switch through apps that well and not as fasts so I was wondering if there was a constomisation that could make the navigation pill transparent? Or something along those lines.
Cheers
Download Fullscreen Gestures module from Magisk app.

(Substratum) Pixel gesture navbar theme

This is pretty self explanatory, it is a Substratum theme compatible with Q and android11 versions. It does what it says it does and that is...hides the gesture navbar, also has the option to use OOS style navbar pill. Some PlayStore applications set the navbar color in app. I'm not going to be going through the million applications and hiding the navbar but this theme does a good job at it as is. Enjoy!
UPDATE: Added OOS navbar style
note: in android Q the application icon in the app drawer is non negotiable. You will have to use a 3rd party launcher or something to hide it as it does nothing but open settings. This is not the case for android11 which our phones ship with so most won't even notice.

Is there ANY way to hide the right and left gesture navigation bars leaving the middle without changing gesture navigation type?

Hello. I would really like to find a way to hide these bars on the left and right without changing anything in their functionality. I don't like gesture navigations that use one single gesture navigation bar in the middle so I decided to find a way to use this type and try to hide the left and right bars.

I'm hoping if there's a way to do this using root or ADB? Maybe there's anything? All is needed is to change transparency of these right/left navbars to zero and that's it.
