Best Nougat ROM for d855 by now? - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi community, I'd like to try a nougat ROM on my LG G3.
Surfing on XDA, I've found out XenonHD and TeslaROM.
I want a ROM that is as fast/smooth/stable as possible and with a great battery life. Which one (or another ROM, if you know one) would you suggest me? :fingers-crossed:

I have the D851 so can't say much (D855 had more choices). Was partial to crDroid and the GZR ROMs (Tesla, Validus). Lot of folks liked Resurrection Remix.
As far as current or recent stuff I guess there's LineageOS. Last build from November 2018.

If you've ever entertained the idea of a privacy oriented, Google-free setup there's /e/ ROM based on LineageOS.

There´s no oxygen ROM for the lg g3 since it is an exclusive ROM for the One Plus and it´s developed by their company, and i haven´t really seen any port for this device, the closest Oxygen experience you can get is a AOSP ROM like Resurrection Remix ROM or CM12 of curse that each one of them have their own features but you can check them on the ROM tab for the LG G3

AOSP or Community Build? What is the best daily driver?

Hi,
i just ordered my 1+3 and i have a question. What is the best rom as a daily driver, except stock ? Should i flash a communitybuild or a AOSP based rom? I want the best mix of features, often updates and stability.
I was very satisfied with resurrection remix on my HTC One M8, does it run well on the 1+3? Currently i still have the S6 Edge, and i'm very bored of it, as it have no AOSP rom.. Thats why i bought the 1+3.
best regards
Hello and welcome in OP3 forums ! You can jump to Android N with AICP or Tesla N, but if you want to keep Android 6.0.1 you can try ResurrectionRemix or MIUI.
BTW if you want to try Community Build, try FreedomOS CE (1.9.1 currently) !

[SOLVED] Best battery life : Resurrection Remix or LineageOS

Hi everybody,
I'm currently running official LineageOS 14.1 but the battery life isn't that good.
Has someone tried both Resurrection Remix and LineageOS to tell me the difference please ?
I mean I don't want to reinstall everything if it's not better
Thank you
You could try installing RR with dual boot patcher to see it yourself, it's not difficult at all and you can keep lineage untouched. Anyway I don't think RR has a great improvement on battery over lineage. Hope it helped
Hi there. I am on RR 5.8.3 actual. I'm very satisfied with the battery life of the phone. It's lives longer than on original LG Stock Rom. I've tried Imperium Rom too and liked it much but RR based now on 7.1.2 and Imperium just 6.0. So it's you're Decide. But you can't install Imperium with DualBootPatcher cause it comes with the Aroma Installer. That doesn't work with the Patcher.
As far as I can tell, there are no major differences in battery performances between the most common AOSP or CM derived android roms. It will mostly depends on the apps you install.
Thanks everyone

Depends on what your looking for. The best way to find out is try it for yourself. There is no "one size fits all" when it comes to roms. If you want simplicity and perhaps stability, stay on LOS. Personally LOS lacks certain customizations I really prefer not to give up. I ran crDroid on my Galaxy S4 and found it to my liking more then other roms. Personally I felt like it had the best kernel development of an Los based roms for that device. Since jumping back to an LG G3 I stuck with crDroid because I find the performance great, stability is great, and it has the feature set I like the most. Plus firebird was the maintainer of crDroid for my S4 variant) That said RR(Resurrection Remix) is amazing as well. For that matter all the major roms are great. You really can't go wrong.

Hey. Collected all these firmware. Until recently, there was only nitrogen os, until I began to collect all the other firmware.

Hello friends,
does anybody still use this phone? This ROM is indeed excellent except for 2 problems: a) the equalizer app keeps crashing and b) i have set ambient display to wake up the phone with a hand wave but it does not work; the same thing works in Nitrogen, however.
Anybody else having these problems?
This is very unstable for my phone. It keeps crashing every hour, and the PlayStore is also crashing (I've flashed ARM 7.1 CORE Gapps). Is there any suggestion about how to fix this?
Will this work on sprint Optimus g ls970
