Anyone know how to get iPhone emojis working on emui 9? No root - Honor 10 Themes, Apps, and Mods

My Honor 10 has been updated to emui 9, when I was on emui 8 my iPhone emojis were working across different apps such as Instagram, Discord and Snapchat (which I use heavily).
I've downloaded IOS 12 emojis font from huawei theme manager ( which says it supports emui 9 ), but the emoji's appear as IOS emojis on the keyboard, but return back to normal android emojis when I type. But, it displays IOS emojis on the system itself and Instagram, just when I use other apps like Snapchat, it doesn't change the android emojis to IOS.
If anyone knows how to fix this, please let me know. Thanks.

I did just like you did and it works fine on all apps except on Twitter it's typed as Twitter emojis

Even on snapchat?

Same issue here and did it the same way like you did. In SwiftKey they are ios but Snap and insta they're Android. Also would like to have ios 12.1 emoji

I have the same issue but on my Huawei P20. I wish somebody had a solution.
Thank you.

I have exactly the same problem with my honor 10.
Anyone find a solution?

Hey can you please tell me if it works on Snapchat?

Temporary solution: download the 10.48.5.0 version of snapchat and go to the map then go to Bermuda and activate the alpha version, the IOS emojis should works on the snaps. :good:

It only works on the Snap but on the chat it's Android emojis. Do you find an other solution?

iOS Emojis on Galaxy Note 7 without root

Are there any solutions for getting iOS emoji onto the Note 7 (in the keyboard and also to display within apps [such as Snapchat, Instagram etc]? I'm not rooted and would like to avoid that if possible so I can continue to use Samsung and Android Pay.
I've spent quite a few hours trying to find solutions but can't find more than the usual emoji keyboards (which show the emoji on the keyboard but obviously doesn't change system fonts etc).
Was anyone able to do this on S7?
I hope this doesn't sound rude, but I'd be happy to pay someone for their time if they have the knowledge to fix this? Am totally stuck and doing all I can to love this phone as much as possible (despite other hiccups, it's been an absolute dream and totally worth the move from iPhone).
Thanks!
I believe the emojis are located in the /system partition which is not modifiable without root.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
You are correct, you must have root to change emojis, I myself hate hate hate Samsung/Lg emojis! But I'm staying non rooted
I've been using iOS emojis via Textra. It's only usable in text messages.

Updated to Oreo but Google messenger still has old ui

My wife has a standard pixel and prior to the Oreo update her message app ui looks like the first attachment.. however mine even after the the 8.0 still looks like the old ui on the newest apk.. anyone have any thoughts.
My interface is still the old style, must be a server side change or something. I have a play store Pixel Verizon sim OTA oreo.

Possible to get IOS Emoji for Android 10 / One UI 2 ?

(Firstly, sorry if this isn't the right place to ask this question I am new here)
Has anyone had any luck getting IOS Emoji's on their phone? I have an S20. I am looking to get the emoji's without root.
If you want to keep using the default Samsung keyboard, then it is not possible without root + emoji pack.
However, another option is to use a different messaging app that supports alternate emojis.

Question IOS Emojis On P6/P6P?

Hey all, just wondering if anyone has found a way to get IOS emojis working on the P6 or P6P... emojis are my only gripe with Android, IOS emojis are just so much better to me. I had previously used a Magisk module during my time with the OnePlus 7 Pro, however, that same module which worked flawlessly for about two years is seemingly struggling due to A12 I presume. When I originally installed the module, it did work, but after a reboot or two they disappeared and I can't seem to get them back. If anyone has any possible solutions or thoughts that would be great, thanks!

I had a similar issue. I ended up going into /data/fonts/files and deleting everything inside. It seems like emojis are downloaded now or something, but I am not sure.
At first, this did not work and I did a clean wipe. iOS emoji have been working fine for me now.
GBoard displays the iOS emoji and so do most apps. Google's text messaging app does not, but I think this is due to changes in the app itself and not the system.
Going into /data/fonts/files and wiping it clean and then reinstalling the IOS emoji Magisk module and rebooting seems to have done the trick, it's all working now, thank you for the help and ideas!

You can install Font Manager which will allow you to install custom emojis and fonts systemwide from various phone manufacturers.
Check it out if interested.

That's the spamiest, scamiest option I've seen.
"Forget your magisk modules, just use these ad-infested, login-required, paywalled, extremely dubious installs and give it superuser permissions!"

Question Alternative to Google dialer and message

I tried to get used to Google dialer and message apps since the oos12 update but I really can't, is there any way to get the color os or oxygen is dialer and message app to work? Or a decent alternative to gapps?
Thank you
I use ColorOS global. I have all that stupid google removed from Oxygen OS.
Or on OnePlus forum/community you can find Oneplus dialer/message/phone app. I guess that works on A12.

I'm very interested in doing this. How did you strip out Google apps etc?
I mean that all beautifull gestures/apps that are missing from OxygenOS (removed/replaced by BS google) are in colorOS.
You should try True Phone. Definitely perfect dialer app with lots of customization capabilities.
