I downloaded the rom, flashed it, the only thing I see is the Galaxy W screen with "cyanogenmod" below, then it reboots automatically to CWM.
Any suggestion?

You should use this recovery [ancora][Galaxy W][CWM Advanced Edition] PhilZ Touch
And use wipe & format > clean to install a new rom
Then install the rom
Music stuttering
Thank you for this ROM, Iwas able to installed it w/o problem. However, I experience music stuttering when a message coming in or activating another app during music listening. Any way for rectifying this please?

you didn't fix this problem.
- custom wallpaper can not fit with screen (scrollable) it can't be Lockmode
i know this isn't a big problem. I can fix it by using launcher app. but it sucks my ram so much. and if i use it, the icons become low quality (if i use my stock rom. although i use launcher app, the icons is still in HD)
please fix it. I think it's just the one step to make your rom looks perfect.

modem baked in. You still need to flash the kernel modules for wifi. As far as the update you can run it and it will most likely fail. It's for Samsung update which we can't use anyway.
Seems dropbox has suspended my links because of too much traffic. I am reuploading it now to Mega

I like your rom it light to the touch and has brilliant battery..the only issue i have encountered so far is the camera the pictures come out hazzy and it freezes completely sometimes untill a reboot

In the apps section I have I have the S5 camera. Maybe try reflashing it? I will try and make an S4 flashable camera.

I feel I am missing a step somewhere. When I rooted, I used ODIN to flash the I337_NI1_Stock_Kernel after using Towelroot. I have Safestrap installed and had no problem getting F-Slim ROM loaded on the Stock slot. Are you saying I need to flash the NI1 wifi kernel module? Is this different than the kernel I mention above? If not, where do I get it from? (yes, I have searched) Once I have it, I would think I need to use ODIN again to flash the kernel, but when I tried booting into recovery using the hardbuttons, I just got a black screen and ODIN did not see my device connected. Again, what am I missing? Thanks for your help. I'm sure it is something simple, but a key piece none the less.
EDIT: immediately after posting this, I found the modem kernel thread here , but I would conclude this is not what you mean to flash to get WiFi working. Sorry I'm posting info that may not be related, I'm just trying to show I have done the searching, just havent found what I think I am looking for.

Here is the post containing NI1 wifi kernel modules. I finally found it myself. I hope this helps others.

I'm very sorry but my s4 is broken at the moment. I broke the lcd and haven't been on here in quite a bit. I'm glad you found what you were looking for though. When my phone is repaired I'll be back

Do you have a download link to the NC1 module you flashed in recovery or in odin?
Is it a kernel?
I tried flashing the NC1 stock kernel in odin but wifi still will not work.
Is there a download link to a wifi fix for this rom?

This firmware was developed for the p905. It doesn't apply to the p905v at this time because it's bootloader locked and a custom recovery isn't possible.
If you want to check firmware - please make backup. Better to store all partitions, at least efs and may be modem.
This port based on the "QS_N7_Port_v2.2" port for samsung note 3, big thanks for @qaraqumus
This is first preview version, a lot of problem here, it need to clean-up. Some applications has only vertical, because this is port from phone.
The point of this thread and the test port to see if we need any port, or enough lineage? On the one hand lineage easier to control, it's building from source. On the other hand - the stock and all its features
Instructions
1. Install custom recovery
2. Download the zip - firmware
3. Backup all partitions (it least efs) and store somewhere - it need to do - because you can loose imei
4. Full wipe all
5. Flash firmware
First boot will be very long (about 10 minutes). Be patient.

Almost all work: calls, mobile data, wifi, bluetooth, sound, vibra, sdcard, mtp, s-pen, gps
Known Issues
- microphone in skype
- phone app vertical only (need replace phone\contacts to tablet version)
- crash in the contacts
- problems with the keyboard in the floating\split views
Need check
- wi-fi calling - is it possible?
Tips
If you get crash on swith language - just reset keyboard's settings.

Some bug i thought you may need to know but the rom is very very stable at least for my usage
Magnetic cover doesn't turn off screen and if i closed it while screen is off it turns it on!
But so far so good at least we had the chance to try MM TouchWiz rom thanks to you

For rotation apps you can try App Setting app (you need xposed for this)
When i insert the sim it will not find the network after manually apllying apn settings and restarting the device.

I am using ultimate rotation control and manualing changing orientation from its persistant notification setting. I downloaded your suggestion and will try it when i have more time thank you for pointing me in the right direction.:

Only I think UI size a bit upscaled? Can't fix it by settings.
Also has some crashes of Chrome. Windows preview in task manager looks a bit dirty, probably because it's not visible at small phone screen, but easy noticeable at tablet screen.
But aside from that I like this firmware very much, I hope Valera will continue develop this firmware.
I liked get back full S-pen functionality, including possibility to press physical buttons with it.

Just hold on the home screen, swipe right and it will show a switch to turn off bixby

no, but you can download the zip listed and extract and move it to system with root explorer
its grx touchwiz that has way more customization including the look of oreo touchwiz

Thank you my friend, your work is very good, congratulations. Just two doubts now, when I open the camera and go to the front the device restarts, I am not able to use the front camera. And when I use SmartView, the device also reboots. The device restarts when using SmartView and Front Camera. Would you know what that might be?
I'm using the Tutibreaker ROM Note Fan Edition (NoteP).

you can fix it by moving the camera and smartview from your rom to the system, but make sure its the same folder like priv-app or app
After I have root on my pad, is there any module or any method to show themes app and install miui themes on my tablet?

I found some magisk modules on Mi pad 5 group on telegram but it didn't work. May there's something else to get it work.

I checked the telegram group but didn't see anything related to this.... so far I don't see any possible way
I've done it without rooting. It kinda works, main widget (weather + clock) is either too small or too big, also doesnt work on landscape mode, you will have problems in lockscreen etc.
I used miui theme kit apk to install theme and another app from play store that reveals hidden system apps shortcuts. App is there, it's just hidden, you can do some thing like get back to default theme.
That's a dissapointment because main reason i bought this pad is theme customisation. Most of MIUI features doesn't work here.
Check this out once https://t.me/redmipadofficial/1942 after u got root just flash this zip file which enables you to import and flash custom themes/fonts/wallpaper of your choice
You can get custom themes files from other Xiaomi device or from Google search miui themes then download the Mtz theme file and then
U have two ways to open this app,after u flash this magisk module u will not see any difference and can't see themes app in app drawer
1. Go to setting then in wallpaper and here u go with moded themes app
2. In steps -
long press on home screen ..choose wallpaper
top right ..choose themes icon
my account
themes .. import .. choose mtz files
apply and reboot once.
[Yeah, this mod themes app is taken from China miui Android phone rom hence it doesn't support landscape mode, bellow is the screen shot... Personaly I didn't found any good theme so I didn't flash any now but still good to have option in case u want to...]

I've tried this before and it would t work. I've seen the themes app is hidden but it will not open I receive the message it's not supported in your region. Changing the region doesn't help.

Will also suggest to try coustomiuizer 13 and Monet miui, allows you lot of customisation but one warnings don't mess up with charging animation... I messed once with lspossed wave apk from then on I am not able to find single method to get back to orginal charging animation... So now have to use that lsposed wave charging animation to hide stock crupted charging animation...
Otherwise everything works better than what miui gives...

I use customiuizer which is great. I will check out monet miui. All I really need now to make this perfect is to be able to change the grid size to utilise the full homescreen. Thanks.
