Window case for Huawei Mate 20 - Huawei Mate 20 Questions & Answers

There are various Huawei Mate 20 cases now that come with a window. A sensor in the case lid seems to trigger the "Always on" display that gives information about time and notifications.
I thought this might be a way to get this option which is otherwise missing in the Mate 20 version (as opposed to the Mate 20 Pro).
My case does provide this information through the window initially, but it disappears after 10 seconds. It seems more a gimmick than something useful.
Has anyone else had this experience?

I have an original flip case. Info on the screen disappear as well. I think its only for a sneak peak on date time and stepcount.

One good feature is being able to answer the phone without opening the case, which I did successfully yesterday.

I have seen it as an official Samsung accessory in Singapore, not sure where you can get it online/where you are but it definitely exists.
ok ... I will continue to look for! thanks a lot!
Really nice, it will be difficult to find....
did you have any luck finding this? i'd really like this case. I much prefer a side opening flap than the bottom opening flap. Spent hours on the net looking at hundreds of case for something as thin and similar to this. I'm not worried about protecting the back of the phone just want a flap to cover the screen without adding bulk to the phone. To make life a little more difficult i also have the official 2000mha samsung battery.

I think it's cos the watch face is using the wrong hour rotation. Some older faces use an hour hand that doesn't move until the hour ticks over.
If this watch face is made using Facer, change the Hour Rotation to be:
Code:
(#DWFK#+(#DWFM#/12))
There might be better ways of doing it. Keep a note of the old value before editing in case it doesn't work.

Is this the Next Moto360???

No one has noticed that the next Moto360 has been shown in the new Android Wear ad on YouTube. It's one of the last watches to appear in the ad.
Notice the lack of "flat tire", the new crown location, and regular band connector. Looks like we're getting the 360 we want!

The bezel seems much bigger on the Huawei watch.
i think it is.
You mean this one? (Bottom left)
No, but this probably is: http://hothardware.com/news/lenovo-ceo-post-images-of-next-gen-moto-360-flat-tire-display-remains

Why do you say no? The watches in this post and your link look the same to me. They both even have the "stem"/button at 2:00.
That is interesting, so really the 360 version 2 is copying a bit of design from the Huawei!

could you point me to the disliked picture?
I will try to change it
Thank you!
This one. There is too much contrast, the watch is a little bit lost there
All got fixed, images got updated.

Took some time but it was worth it.
App is still free, and will remain so

Why is adaptive brightness so broken? Any alternatives?

Gee! This so-called adaptive brightness is quite a euphemism that annoys me always when I least expect it:
In bed! I like to read some wiki before dozing off or a story from the Gutenberg collection. However, pretty much every night this little piece of garbage code suddenly decides to turn on the headlights and to honk at me optically.

Very, very, very annoying! Worst of it all, it does not matter which phone, and I see that behavior even on Samsung with stock ROM, therefor I must concluded it is broken by design. Or is it just my halo triggering the sensors?
I vaguely remember that it wasn't like this, many years ago:
Why that simple table sensor X brightness was given up, I don't know. Alas, this "new" approach just does not work (at least not in my vicinity)...
Help! Can you suggest any workaround or alternative?
