I am very happy that there are a lot of interesting roms for Redmi Note 5 Pro.
But, it is frustrating that many roms are based on AOSP with minimal differences between them.
Is it possible to do something interesting like this?

Requesting the Developers to port the YUN OS to MI MAX, which is amazing.
Looks similar to MIUI but have smooth interface and new features
Prior to Mi Max, I used it as a daily driver on my Redmi Note 4G

we dont even have the kernel sources yet, hence no developer can deliver this right now. maybe in future ? who knows!
still searching in google and xda hoping some one ports this rom to MI Max...

Same hope here. Miui 9 was amazingly fluid and good looking cant imagine miui 10. There is a thread over in the project treble forums but it seems like they're running into problems.
galaxy s9 as well... for those of you will say buy a xiomi device, or that Samsung experience is better... it's just a personal preference... I prefer the mi ui

So I just ordered this badboy and I will get it hopefully this Thursday.
What Roms are you using on this? I was a owner of the Mi 5, and despite me really liking the Xiaomi Phones, I really do not like MIUI (Feels super bloated, and with ads).
So is there an actively maintaned ROM for this phone? What are you guys using?
Also, is there any difference between the Redmi Note 8 and the Redmi Note 8t? Can I use roms for the Redmi Note 8 on this one or not?
