[Q] constant search bar in app drawer

Hi All
When I open the app drawer on my stock HOX the bar at the top that normally has "All" plus icons for "Search", "Play Store" and "Menu" is not there and only the search bar itself is there as if I had already pushed the search icon.
If I remember correctly this happened after I used the search function one day a few weeks ago and the search bar just never disappeared since...
Any clue how I get the proper icon bar back?

What happens when you press the left arrow next to the search dialog.

[Q] is there a Chrome Split Screen for our tablets ?

Chrome has a nifty free tool called Split Screen where you can have two URL's side by side on a single page.
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/split-screen/eachfleknamlcepmplpdghagngjfjkin?
Very handy for language translation or to keep a series of parallel bookmarks for related items.
Is something like this available for our tablets ?
You can simply load two Chrome browsers in MultiWindow mode.

From the homescreen, swipe open the multi window bar, hit the Chrome icon and drag it over towards the middle of the screen and let go. As it is the first one you are opening it will fill the whole screen. Swipe the bar open again and then drag a second Chrome icon over the screen but keep your finger on it... as you swipe over the first half of the screen, one side of the screen will turn blue... if you want it open on that side just let go of the icon. If you keep dragging the icon over to the second half of the screen, the second part will then turn blue and you can drop it there and Chrome will open up a second time on that side. Hope this is clear enough

[Q] onscreen navigation buttons

Is there anyway to enable the nav bar on the amazon fire phone ?
When I still used the LG E980 (G Pro) with Cyanogenmod 12. I can easily add a line of command on the build.pro file and then there will be the soft-nav-button. Is this available for amazon fire phone ?
Can anyone help, please? If yes, this would be awesome
I have just been using the no root version of Back Button by ogapps. Which makes a floating or pop up navigation bar using the built in accessibility options. Back Button is the only one I found so far that doesn't trigger the TTS bug where it starts reading all the text on the screen.
Go Launcher has a Back and Menu button integrated into the launcher. The only problem is that the menu bar covers the home button, but you can use the physical button.
what I mean is the actual nav bar like the nexus 5

OnePlus 3 Open Beta 8 Multi Window

Hello,
I did a clean flash to oos 4.0 Open Beta 8 today via twrp with manual format to f2fs. So far everything works fine and smooth and batter drain seems to be good.
But I cant get Multiwindow to work. I can not swipe an App up in the task switcher or use the button, just does not work. I also do not see a drag here for Split View in the Task switcher. Do I have to enable multi window somewhere?
From the multitasking menu you should have split screen feature for all the google apps.
You can't with hardware buttons, but if you turn on screen navbar then it'll work. Can't seem to get around it and I hate onscreen buttons cause its a waste of screen space!!
Split screen works for me with on-screen navigation bar disabled too.
When using hardware-buttons you have to long press on an app-preview inside the recents-view,
then pull it up to pin it...
