You're theme is fantastic. Really appreciate you leaving the original data icons in there. I was working on one for myself and just decided to use your's instead.

thanks dude. i've actually changed those data icons for myself but i've kept them stock in the theme since several people have told me this. i accidentally left out the SecMMS.apk from beta03 and i forgot to post up the previous 03/02 betas.
anyway, beta04 is done and is a lot more polished. i took out the ongoing wifi and i fixed the cell standby issue, as well as themed the stock lockscreen a bit, themed the toggles on settings screen, and it has been updated for LG1 firmware. so a pretty big update that i'm sitting on... waiting for this merge to finish.

Yea i mean I see users requesting this all the time on note 4 and edge.. lol and it does exactly the same thing as the stock pop up in sms, a Trans pop up that doesn't interfere with what your doing.. lol so seems like a waste of time, and maybe users aren't aware it's even their idk, just seems pointless.

Cause you didn't turn it on. Lol go to the stock sms settings, click the word "notifications", and then press "pop up display" and prosper.. lol

Lol i have no idea .. we had it on the note3 on tweaked rom.. ported s5 mms so i think alot of us were familiar with it. But it is sorta not a real obvious setting for whatever reason.. samsung has never been great at documentation or making things super easy or obvious so it makes sense.

Thank you kindly. only had the phone a week and I work 80 hours a week so..... lol not much playtime, at least for now. Does locos theme work for any rom? I'm on sprint deodex rom.

I'm not sure to be honest. I would think so, but I'm on tmo and so is he. Just make a back up and flash away I'm thinking it should be fine

Apparently it's not removable. I uninstalled until a fix/workaround is found bc it's really annoying me lol.

Also oddly enough it allows me to enable hotspot without root or the reboot workaround but I cant get connectivity.

I love this new ui. At first I had to customized the color theme. The only thing they need to add is swipe back in recent. Other then that this is real nice.

You don't have to sideload this. Nor was it made exclusively for the S7 like those sites are reporting. It is available to S6 users (on MM mind you) right in Galaxy Apps. No tricks needed to get it.

in the mean time, you must live in US to have it in galaxy apps store. users in other countries did feedback that they dont have it.
I'm posting a screenshot of what I'm asking about. What is it that allows options like these seen at the top to be available in some ROMs but not others???
I've asked this before in the past but now I can show exactly what I'm talking about.
Is this a modded apk or something else??
I want these options to be available on Stock.... that's my motivation for asking.

There used to be a call block/spam feature in the stock phone app. I used to mark numbers all the time by long pressing the missed call then tapping the option but I think I lost it many months ago. Maybe 6+ months now.

That's still there, no matter the ROM....for me anyway. The ones I mentioned above are additional and VERY useful blocking options.
I've been on AOSPEx specifically because these options are available.

I would also greatly appreciate getting those blocking options in the stock dialer. IDK why Google hasn't implemented it.

How does it work, can you block anyone that is not in your contacts, or is it only known spammers?
I have a second 2 XL that I picked up on Swappa, I installed Q. It looks like it solves the problem of call blocking. :good:

I just tap the recent call, can be in contacts or not, and there's a block/spam report.

Limiting calls to the contacts or blocking unlisted or private numbers is really what I am after. Don't mind payphone calls cause figure it's got to be real important if you gonna call from one of them.

It's a Commit that has to be baked into a rom. I've been Testing builds for AquariOS. They will be implementing it soon. AOSiP and AEX already have it and so does Android Q Beta.....it's making it's way around. It's gotta be baked in though....that's all I've been able to find out.

Thank you. I have a Pixel not the XL, so the AquariOS and such I can't use sure to build. You are saying that the Android Q Beta builds have it? Perhaps someone who is way smarter then I can come up with a patch one could use in TWRP.

I don't think it'll be long before it starts to spread to other ROMs....the fellas at AquariOS didn't even know about it. They started to cook it in as soon as I brought it up in a Telegram chat. BenzoROM doesn't have it? That ROM was available for a time being on the 3XL....I thought I remember that ROM having it....I dunno....been awhile...

Yes it has all of the options. Fahrbot Developer of RCB told me a few months ago that some awesome blocking features were coming to Android, that is why he had to let his app demise as Google would not allow it to work any more.

I'm guessing laziness. Google didn't want to make two different sets of firmware. One notch to rule them all! Plus, other phones have notches as well, you have hole punches, etc....

No, one is for regular stock. The other is for people using the edge sense mod.
