What call recorder?
You guys come up with a suggestion for a free open source recorder that works with our pie ROMs then I'm sure it will happen....

@bersem @SalimPS
I've written something regarding call recording here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...6-0-builds-t3858607/post79093694#post79093694
There are plenty of call recorders (at least one on fdroid), but all of them don't record the call, but only audio from the microphone. If you want to record both sides you have to turn on loudspeaker. This is no elegant solution, the audio quality is poor and you cannot turn on loudspeakers in every call situation. Call Recorder - SKVALEX is the only one solution that (still!) works for me.
@Buff99 @side - I think you're quite busy with further optimizing your roms. Call recording worked without special apps on android 5 (and 6 iirc). If you like to, i could try to collect logs from a working call recording and from (the error of recording of) the latest optimized rom. Perhaps you can see what's the problem and maybe solve it in the end If yes, please let me know. But I think it's not that important, as there's at least one working recording app :good:

Did you try this:
Code:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6/help/call-recording-android-pie-solution-t3853193/amp/
Did not work for me. Native call recorder would be great. I dont like third party apps for it.
Regards !

Native call recording is strange due to new Googles policy.. You know... GDPR and such ****.
I will recheck tho

If you're having issues and want to submit a report (logcat) please make sure you are reporting from the stock kernel, not a modified kernel. Modified kernels can break or fix, even improve things. It depends. I can't get a full clue of the issue when you're not running the original kernel.

Until a solution to the Setup Wizard crash is found yes.
By the way, I'm not 100% sure it's a ROM problem.
Would you mind try using these GApps https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/gapps-dynamic-gapps-t3487192 to see if the SW still crashes?

If anyone is having issues with new kernel (freezes, random reboots, no data/wifi)
Plz flash this kernel:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/135b3Xt9IssT83CFtEzMzkg6USperRkp9/view?usp=drivesdk
It is Orion_WIP3_2 kernel in a AK2 (Anykernel2) zip. (Thanks @JohnFawkes)
You can just flash this zip as a regular zip..
So no more ".img" files that need to be flashed in boot partition.
This also means that you don't need to reflash Magisk after flashing a kernel!
As always "Encounter bugs? = Logcat" cant fix stuff based on a description of what happened. :good:
*Reserved2*
Thread needs some updating, will do that soon

Thanks for the update. Will try on my 930ds
Really enjoying this; working from flash. H933
Thanks for this!
Is this usable on the current bootloader/modem for the H932 (20s)? I know there is issues with sound not working on the last few updates with AOSP ROMs. Thanks in advance.

Not to sure actually. It has the Orion kernel atm which had fixed sound issues before, but I might update room again in a few days a Markus has pushed some new changes
Why there is no sound preset in settings?
Running this for 2 days in my H932 clean flash.
I haven't had any FC or rebooting.
SafetyNet passed with out needing to change fingerprint.
I haven't had the fingerprint reader hardware error a single time.
Audio is a decent loudness.
However it takes all my apps an extremely long time to launch which is a little annoying and I don't know how to fix it.
No using any Magisk modules
Using the kernel that can with the ROM
This is my only issue thus far
Any help would be appreciated

Cool. Will the new build also include changes to AOD that Markus had made recently or they haven't been pushed yet?

Hello to my H932 users on this ROM. I am currently on Havoc and I'm only having a few issues on the ROM. Those issues are, the V4A audio mod not working as it did on other ROMs, and sometimes the battery drops dramatically, and other times it doesn't. That being said, I'm getting the urge to flash again; and from what I've read here so far this ROM seems to be stable with good audio.
If any 932 users can tell me about battery life, and if they're using audio mods, and how the ROM is performing overall, I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Nate
Did BL remove 'force expanded notifications' ?
I can't for the life of me find it in this build.
I wiped cache , Dalvik cache , system , data and flashed the rom and gapps.
The rom very stuttery, couldn't use it at all.. The same happened with lineage OS.. But aosp based roms work smooth on my phone.
I have h930ds , did i do something wrong?
Anyone on h933 or h931 having issues with system UI auto redrawing and phone screen turning off randomly?

First reply. Awesome work by the devs on project. Rom is buttery smooth and loaded too. Battery life is great. Quick charge works as intended. Camera works as intended. The audio output is a little low on loudspeaker but it is being worked on so nothing too serious.
Awesome work!
Wow.. Looks exciting to me...one feature I use more is call record inbuilt into dialer.. Does this work in this ROM?

Great...and does it have Dual Sim 4G option to enable?. The stock rom has this in Settings>Network>Sim Card>Dual Sim 4G
First thanks for this great rom. I don't know if i am right, but can someone confirm that you can add only one fingerprint? When i want to add a second fingerprint, the system tells me that the process to add a fingerprint stopped.
And how can i activate the navigation bar with the dot? (Google pixel navigation bar)
Edit:
To get the Google Pixel navigaton bar to work. You'll need to change Recent App style to Stock. After that the bar will appear, but swiping up will cause a freeze for me.

Try with editing build.prop or use fullscreen gesture but recents panel would be bugged as this is initial build there are magisk modules present in the magisk app itself try those
Excited already!?
Thank you so much dev.

Any reviews for the build. Looks promising with the provided kernel as i am on evolution and it has the same kernel as well. Would love to try bootleggers as it is the first love ?

Just installed the rom. Looks a solid build but needs the good old customization's of bootleggers. I would continue to use it as a daily driver to give more feedback. Thank you dev for your precious work and time for the device.
Edit1: Dev please add the gapps in the rom itself as bit gapps aren't updated and the at glance feature that works from the calendar app and the app is not updated.

Want to know how the battery life performance with day to day task like switching apps and other.
I faced two bugs as for now during my testing.
1- The messaging app does not show any notification.(Big
issue)
2- The ROM and apps freezes randomly for 2-3 sec at random occasions.
Dev please look into the messaging issue as it is a major issue.

I had been using the Evolution X ROM since it came out. I had never faced the issue of messaging in that ROM as it has inbuilt gapps. I'll try to use the Google messaging app and check if it solves the problem.
