First time installing crDroid to your ENTER-PHONE-NAME, or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery ( TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip <--& vendor img, if applicable--> to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

ROM OS Version: 9.x Pie
ROM Kernel: Linux 4.x
Status: Beta
Last Updated: 2019-02-13

12/02/2019
• Updated with changes from zuk-devs
• switched back to /factory instead of renaming to /vendor
• BubbleWrap EAS update
• added spectrum support
• enabled AGPS settings
• media codecs update from Marlin
• memory props update
• more VoLTE stuff
NOTE : PLEASE CLEAN FLASH
If it's Your First Time flashing a Treble ROM/ coming from ZUI /Never flashed factory2vendor , you are good to go
If you are coming from treble ROMs with /factory renamed as /vendor (old treble ROMs) , then needs this :
•
Vendor2factory
•
Treble TWRP with /factory support
Steps to follow
1. Flash Vendor2factory zip
2. Flash new TWRP
3. Reboot to recovery
4. Flash new build
•USERS SHOULD MIGRATE TO /FACTORY Supported new TWRP else you get error 7
In case of Custom Kernels ; old ones are no longer supported , those will kick out you to fastboot,
which are updated recently with /factory are usable
AS ALWAYS I WOULD RECOMMEND NOT CHANGING STOCK KERNEL WITH OTHER CUSTOM KERNEL SINCE MY ROMS GO BEST WITH BUBBLEWRAP

Now you can give a link to the official website TWRP, because DD3Boh is the official maintainer.

Wow) Welcome back!
Thread of yours latest build is here - https://forum.xda-developers.com/le...ntinued-crdroid-v5-0-pie-kernel-4-4-t3891928/

Initial Impressions:
Perfect ROM for daily usage. Hands down!
Battery feels good, let's see after few circles. Oneplus camera works as well. Also tried gcam, but there is green tint in selfie.*edit* - to avoid green tint use right version, im using GoogleCamera_6.1.021.220943556 from xda.
Some issues:
Theme seems to not change dark mode for app drawer in pixel launcher and hence, quickstep must be used as default. Fingerprint registrations don't work at boot. I think one has to go to root directory and edit the required file.
My current setup:- ROM+gapps+opcammod(with root)
Highlight:
The 'crDroid settings' is a boon for this ROM. All required customisations are present. And I have tried most of them. Be reminded, it is the home of all various settings which one would find in respective settings window in a stock environment.
For example, the dark mode(amoled black) affects the notifications, as apps with dark notification colours don't seem to be visible. So I changed the notification to light mode while keeping all other areas dark. Hence, a workaround for some visible bugs, just because of the crDroid Settings.
A big thanks, and keep developing.
:good:

Does this ROM support encryption?

3. Volte works but one will have to enable it from settings.
4. There is no heating, but I don't play heavy games.
5. Deep sleep works.
6. It is smooth and touch response is good.
7 sound is OK, but if one wants to enjoy music, flash the module viper4android fx from magisk.
8. One ca n increase the microphone sound from kernel aduitor by going to sound.
I got the Antutu score of 163362. Screenshot Attached

Thanks for this great ROM....but there is a volte issue which is a major bug...
Bugs:
1.sometimes screen freeze cannot open menu or recents but can open settings from pull down status bar(need to reboot)
2.ui seems to be not that much responsive as compared to other pie ROMs (I saw this kind of slow response in stock ROM)
Pros:
There is no need for points for pros coz we have lots of customizations than other pie ROMs...thumbs up for that...
Fix volte issue....and this is gonna be the best pie rom ever....

Yeah, The Trees Are Published Here If in Case u Wanted to have a Look
Firstly I would like to thank you for your contribution.
I'd like to ask 2 questions if not bother you;
1. Are you willing to continue this project and update at least monthly maybe? Because many, many roms were built but not continued afterwards.
2. Is bluetooth working properly, I mean does it ring on the connected device when a call is received (since this is a common bug on all custom roms for Mi A2 Lite)?

gChannelBondingMode5GHz=1
but no work ( work in stock vendor )
2) I need enable manually cam2api manually for gcam ( support gcam rom very good gcam 7 work very great ! )

I can tell you about the second question: bluetooth ringing sound incall does not work, the point is that when waiting incall makes sound properly.
---------- Post added at 01:42 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:36 PM ----------
I installed crdroid without trouble, I face same bug of bluetooth ringing sound incall, it does not work, the point is that when incall waiting makes sound properly but I face another issue: volume incall control works but it does not make anything, I mean: volume is not incresing or decreasing, quite weird. The rest is perfect.
gcam not work even with camera 2 API enabled

Nice ROM, thanks!
The most bugless rom so far, good job!
On the way installing , ?
Wow.. Looks like an awesome rom.
What about some bugs that were with your [10][UNOFFICIAL]SuperiorOS.
Such as call disconnecting bug, half installed apps on launcher, facebook audio call - no sound issue?
Are they on this rom also? If not, I'll also give it a try. Thanks.
Reserved.
I'm getting:
Error applying update: 7 (ErrorCode:: kInstallDeviceOpenError)
Updater process ended with ERROR: 1
while installing the ROM via TWRP. Sideload also doesn't work.

Use TWRP made by 33bca / Offain. Do not use dees_troy's or Official as it is not compatible.
Thank you.
I get random graphic glithes (like rectangles or sth) while scrolling through my apps' list. Any way to get rid of it?

tbh I don't have this so it's weird
I've tried to build ExtendedUI for Daisy by myself but I couldn't get it to work, glad to see you managed to build it and even make it official on the release. It's pretty awesome, but performance isn't that great, maybe cause I dirty flashed it from POSP, I will also try to use Chunchunmaru kernel. Great work and thanks!

Good thing you managed to have it worked. Going from non-GApps to Gapps'ed ROMs need clean flash as they differ from GApps packages (some components of previous GApps will force close), some apps will force close due to different or lacking components, customization will also looked wrong due to different way of customizing system.
System, Data and Cache wipe will be sufficient enough.

Just flashed clean from 10.0.13 and I see no diffirence in performance (it's far from POSP smoothness), customization or anything like that, hopefully performance will get better with every update. I will stay with it only cause I like Google apps way more than AOSP apps
Do you will stop with the Superior Os ROM ?

never, after I release fixed ExtendedUI, I'll update SuperiorOS too.
In coming ExUI update, I have fixed some bugs, bluetooth audio and included MIUI camera)
Can i install this rom on 10.0.18.0 firmware with january security patch? or i need specific firmware? i ask this because some other rom required specific firmware such as 10.0.13.0 to work properly.

It should work just fine, like every ROM that "requires" specific version of Android ONE, if don't then you will have to flash 10.0.13.0 then ExtendedUI
Battery drain is insane, 15% every 3 hours. I disabled AOD, but it's not that. In comparison, on 10.0.18 I got 4 days.
ROM performance is awesome and I'd like to keep it. How to deal with this?
I chose Clean Install, wiped everything. I installled fresh all of my apps. Battery section in Settings doesn't show anything strange.
Hello there,
A pixel like rom with a few features from xiaomi UI and few tricks sounds exactly from what i was looking for my daily driver!
However my rooting days are far away and i think that i could use a step by step procedure to refresh things a bit.
I'm have a locked bootloader/ stock version of the mia2 lite on android 9 january security update. Never rooted or anything.
What should i do first?
Unlock the bootloader i guess? how is it done these days? Root the device, install Twrp? All those things before i can deal with the install, am i wrong?
Is there a one click rooting procedure for the daisy?
Anyway, i'm looking forward to try this rom!
Thanks to the developpers

Great work, now we have fast R ROM! (but not as fast as Enchanted LOS 17.1)
Wow, thank you so much!! The performance and battery backup is very decent. No major issues except 2 things things,
1. Double tap to wake up missing.
2. Camera flash does not work. (however this can be resolved by using Footej camera 2)
You are best @xNombre . Nice work.
Hello,
I've just pushed a new update. It's stable release!
I'm actually surprised by how smooth gemini came out to be on a11.
Camera led is broken and probably will be, I cannot do much about it. You can always use custom camera app.

Working for me.
I solved, they casued in developer options. Someone if on, screen recording bugged.
Thanks for your support on gemini. Everything works fine and smooth for now.
Just a small bug i found is disabling hardware buttons doesn't disables home button key.
On the latest version after turning on device encryption functionality and setting up boot password on, it stucks on infinite booting animation and never boots up again.

Hi!
I've been using your crdroid 6 for almost a year and I love it, thank you so much for your support on gemini.
I wanted to try this version but i can't find gapps for android 11 on the link you provided. Should I use NikGApps or it would be better to download the test version of opengapps for android 11? Would it add stability problems?
Thanks again and happy holidays to everyone!
