I`m using the factory 4.2.2 ! Besides the problem of device battery consumption , the phone is getting very hot

Well the reason why your phone is draining battery is beacause the stock rom cane with alot of bloatware (program that you never use but they are running in backgroud) so i recomend you to root your phone and delete some samsung apps or frezze them that will make that ths apps dnt run anymore and it will save battery remember you have to be careful when you are going to delere or frezze some apps. And the overheating could be for 3G networks or when you play some heavy games.

I`ve posted here (sorry) - because the phone is G3815 (Samsung Galaxy Express 2) - same hardware specs . My wife`s device is locked on Vodafone , and i didnt found any ROM`s available or topic/thread/chapter about Express 2 . I`m very hard yet to believe that the bloatware from Samsung and Vodafone can use all the resources of the phone and make it burn in my hands . I will remove also the microSD to see if there any improvements .

Wow ... this isnt real ! I`ve used 12% of 21oo Ah of battery in less than 5 minutes just updateing apps thru Wifi ... this phone has a real problem ...i`ll go to the service with it .

[Q] why GT-N7100 constantly restarting?

Hello everyone,
My note II restates out of the blue without any good reasons :crying:
it generally happen when i play any game or use 2 or 3 apps at the same time ( like sound cloud , facebook and messenger )or ( game and messenger ) or playing for a long time ... knowing that the battery is fully charged or at least more then 80% ... it suddenly restarts with about 2 % .. and i take that battery out and in and open the phone to find it about 60%
i tried to factory reset
knowing that the phone on kitkat 4.4.2 the original french update from Samsung , and i tried also to run the secreat codes but neither of the code worked!!
can anyone please tell me what is the problem and how can i fix it please

how old is the battery?
did you overclock?
check if it's warm or even hot

the battery and the mobile are about 2 year ...
and no i didn't overclock the phone
and it gets a slightly warm in fact

battery life is approx. 1000 cycles, so in 2 years it is quite possible.
If you can swap battery and test. If you don't OC, then it's not a security restart.
I bet it's battery

Weird coincidence. This started happening to me on May 10th. My 2.5 yr old phone would restart over and over even when plugged into the computer. I did a hard reset and it still didn't help.
I replaced the battery and it fixed it!

Problem Solved
it was really the battery
once i changed it every thing went back to normal .

Its also another weird coincidence as this issue has happened to me, my note 2 is also 2.5 years old and my phone kept restarting too, but i really didnt care much and instead, i continued to use it over and over and overclocked it to 1800 mhz and i have no idea how but is stopped restarting. It was weird, at least is saved me money buy not having to buy a new battery. But as i expected, a new problem arises, systemui keeps crashing. But the battery is still fine, all i did was flashed a new rom.

Battery usage / Battery Drain even on Ext. Battery

i have some unnormal battery life.
Me and my gf play Pokemon Go and when we go out and use the same Battery Pack (some Anker with 10.000mAh with an Android Port and a Apple port - maybe not QC 2.0 but at least 1A output) the iPhone is charging up slowly and my G4 is draining slowly (or fast.... i would say so fast that the usage of ext battery wouldnt be of much weight).
How can i improve this?
Away from stock kernel / rom ? I want 100% realiability in software, i don't want bugs, like camera not working - that's not worth it (for me). Or small things like Infrared (love that ****).
Can you give me some Apps or "helpers" or prewritten tutorial / thoughts how to improve my situation?
Or even tips on kernels and roms.

Ask google to know the differences . All i can say you own 815 . You can unlock bootloader . Other users cant. Thats the major difference . You can flash recoveries , roms mods etc etc . We cant ! thats why i asked you the device model. GO into the development section http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/development you can find plenty of options there .
And next time dont be mean if someone trying to help you . Yes i have seen guys here posting questions and infos in wrong device sections. After all everyone is noob here in early days .

zuk stuck with led on after 5-10 seconds

Actually i switched from zuk z2 and it's not my primary device but still i want to use it as a secondary Device but a serious issue is happening with the device for a long time and that's why i switched from z2 ....
Actually my z2 automatically turns off in 5-10 seconds and the led glows .... I can boot into recovery but it also stuck after few seconds and led glows .... Phone is totally functional but doesn't stays on....
So it literally become useless and can't be used anymore .. . I guess it's experiencing some kind of hardware failure... Can anyone help me with this issue??

Is battery in good working condition? And if yes try the the whole process of installing stock zui and then back unlocking bootloader, installing custom recovery and rom..

Yes i also tried qfil.... It worked perfectly for a week with stock zui but again got plagued...
And battery capacity was almost 2000 mah while i last checked...

Is it charging in twrp and is the same issue in twrp.as well??
Try a light ROM non treble like cardinal etc and don't use phone .
If it remains on in standby then battery is gone coz under heavy load kernel panic is happening due to low power/voltage from battery..
Go for battery replacement.

Im not even able to flash any rom because it doesn't stays on .... And yes charging is working

Btw i would like to inform you that even my zuk z2s battery life got degraded so bad that any rom i flash, the battery dont last long. In standby mode battery drains to almost 5-6%. Using lineage OS 16 with minimal gapps. But still battery drains like hell. If u hv tried out every thing out there to fix ur device, and still u fails, points to the battery failure. I think our zuk needs a battery replacement. I ll inform u if i found some decent battery for our beloved zuk. The bad thing for me is i hv to replace my speaker too along with my battery as it sounds verry terrible

I think best solution to putt new battery inside after 3 years there not that good anymore i have to change almost every year

My battery very good with official Samsung rom but in stock android its drain
