Bootloop after flashing SuperSU/Magisk - Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Questions & Answers

Hi,
I dont know what I am doing wrong, really.
I managed to unlock bootloader and install custom ROM, everything works fine then.
I install TWRP without an issue. I can decrypt partition by wiping all. Once I flash SuperSU 2.82 or Magis 18.1. I get a bootloop when trying to reboot. I waited like 15 Minutes. Also tried KingRoot.apk methid, didnt work.
So no way to get root access works for me?
Any idea? Thanks!
Best
UPDATE: It worked now.
How? Download TWRP from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-max-3/development/recovery-twrp-3-2-3-1-nitrogen-t3866084
Install latest Magisk 18.1.

Magisk is not working in Resurrection Remix.

I recently installed RR in Asus ze551ml, and just discovered that magisk manager is not working. I badly needed Magisk manager, to use NFC in the various payment apps, but it's not working. It is saying that Magisk has not been installed. I tried flashing Magisk v14.0 manually, through recovery mode, but it went into recovery loop. That's just unexpected. Same thing happened when I tried to install Magisk in CM 14.1, which I was previously using. Please help me to find a solution.
Stuck on recovery loop
How did you manage to pass through recovery loop. I have some data on my phone memory that i need so i can't fully flash it with stock. Please suggest me something
Solution
After flash magisk you need to flash VerifiedBootSigner.
I resolved by this way
PS Sorry for my english
When flashing Magisk in ZE551ML, you must sign up Magisk before flashing. Or, you can flash Magisk then flash the script here

I simply flashed the RR rom over it without wiping anything. It worked.

Installing Magisk results in bootloop

I'm not new to these things, but this time it seems I'm totally stuck.
What have I done till now?
- unlocked bootloader
- checked Anti-Version -> 4
- followed step 5 in this thread
What have I gained?
- I'm able to boot into TWRP and also to install several ZIPs. But every ZIP I install goes into bootloop. I have to flash the uninstaller-versions and then my phone works totally normal.
- I tried to install Magisk v16.0, v16.3 and v16.7, no success with each of them.
- I patched boot-image through Magisk itself -> also no success, still bootloop
What haven't I done yet?
- used lazyflasher to permanently flash TWRP as recovery
What are my phones creds?
- I'm on MIUI 9.6.3.0
If I'm right I can't flash any MIUI-version below 9.5.19.0 because of Anti 4. How will I be able to install Magisk and have a working phone? I found a thread where several links were included, one of them showing to some kind of ROM-kitchen, where I'd have the choice to create a custom ROM-zip with Magisk included (among other things like wallpapers, ringtones, which ROM-Version) but I can't find the link anymore. Would that be a possibility? Installing a MIUI beta 10?
just try using lazy flasher...
Ok, maybe I identified my problem: I have to booot into TWRP and flash the recovery within TWRP and afterwards I can install Magisk.
Can someone please confirm?

Unable to install Magisk Zip on November update

Hey all, I have always updated each month using the simple methods posted here, just doing a fresh install of each factory image.
I have got the november update installed, TWRP installed. However, I cannot for the life of me get the magisk install to "take".
I have installed various versions, 16.7 17.1 and 17.3 in TWRP, have rebooted to system each time, and yet no magisk zip. Have even tried doing fresh install wiping system, magisk uninstall, etc. Anything you can think I am doing wrong?
I just checked and its nothing wrong with the TWRP method... I was just able to install sultan zip from it. Any other way I can get magisk manager/Magisk zips? I have always just flashed the zip from TWRP. please help, thanks

Very strange, but it just worked, after the 20th time of doing the same thing. Who knows why
Hey, my issue with Magisk is a bit different. I've upgraded my Pixel 2 XL every month and flashed Magisk afterwords. What I keep running into for the past couple of months is that after I'm all done, I will get a notification that there's an update to Magisk, but it's the same version I already have. I've tried different versions from 16.7 to the beta 17.3 and I would always seem to lose root after a while and be prompted to download the update to Magisk. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
I am having the same issue with magisk after updating to nov update. Did the flashall then booted twrp and flash magisk Not sure why

Run the Magisk uninstaller first
run 17.1 or the uninstaller. i've had better luck with 17.1
I guess the issue is linked to the Active Edge Module!
Download "uninmod_magisk", install it via TWRP, execute it via Terminal in TWRP, delete the Active Edge Module.
Now you can boot and reinstall that module.

J6 SM-J600FN - Is it possible to install TWRP without boot-loop?

I have been trying to root my J6 SM-J600FN for a while, and I thought I was getting close to rooting it when I installed TWRP. But then, my phone was stuck in a boot-loop. I was able to fix it by installing current firmware, and I decided to attempt it a second time. I got the same result. Is there anything I can use to install TWRP that doesn't result in a boot-loop? I just want my phone rooted and be done with it.
As far as i know, trying to root stock rom isn't easy. I could be wrong but idk. You can try by:
1. Flashing stock
2. Flashing TWRP
3. Format data
4. Flash DM-Verity and Disable Force-Encrypt then flash magisk.
And i think you can't flash kernels on stock. I could be wrong but idk.
Hey, how did you even install TWRP?
Before I tried installing it my model number was "SM-J600 FN/DS" and now after the install, when I plug it into my pc it says that it's "FN-600G." Whenever I try to boot it in system mode it's stuck in a loop.
I haven't tried flashing the newest firmware yet because I can't even download it for my country.
Sorry, I am a total newbie and can't seem to fix it.

Hi Guys,
Did you manage to do this? I was experiencing the same bootloop issue and I think it is the version of Twrp (I was using 3.3.1-0).
I used Odin to flash a lower version 3.2.3 found here after which I flashed this DM Verity + Magisk.
Root Success!

OP7 Pro does not boot after installing OTA from TWRP

Good evening. First of all, thank you for your help.
I have a problem, and that is that I have bricked my terminal. I have installed TWRP 3.5.2 by Nebrassy and I am trying to install the OTA 21.E.38 (11.0.2.1 GM21BA).
When it finishes installing, the terminal just boots into recovery. I've tried installing Magisk but it doesn't seem to be the problem. I don't know what else to do.
What could I try so I don't lose all my data?
Format data
