Install
Use CWM6.
Warning: Only use this recovery to flash CM-12.0. Otherwise, you risk bricking your phone, or you might experience boot and stability issues!
Wipe data and cache.
Format /system (only first time coning from older recovery)
Format /data and /data/media (only first time coning from older recovery)
Flash update*.zip.
Flash gapps*.zip. You must flash gapps after every upgrade to CM12.0 since /system is formatted, wiping your previous add-ons.
Reboot phone.
First boot might take 30-40 minutes, so be patient.
After you setup your Google account, reinstall the three apps from Market in order to restore most of your apps, call log and SMS history.
Warning: Do not restore backup data of system apps!
If you restore a bad backup with cached settings in telephony.db in data/data/com.*.*.telephony it can break MMS.
It seems that restoring backups can also break Calendar sync.
Upgrades
Upgrades from previous versions of CM12.0 are the same process as install, except you do not need to wipe anything. Contrary to popular belief, you do not need to even wipe cache and dalvik-cache when upgrading between CM12.0 versions. You only need to wipe if you are doing a major upgrade, switching to a different ROM entirely, or attempting to fix bugs caused by bad backups or corrupt app data.

one question, I'm okey with no root access or no pre-built file manager installed

5. Reboot to recovery mode ( Vol UP + Home + Power )
Note: It is highly recommended to use TWRP recovery
6. Optional: Do nandroid backup
7. Wipe data / Factory Reset
Note: Needed if you are updating from other andorid version or stock
8. Install CM zip and GApps zip
9. Reboot to system

Yes, via kingroot i rooted it, but when reboot the root is gone.
So no need to reboot ur device, even if u reboot ur device u root it again...

its been 8 days since I m using CM on my device and never faced a single lag!:silly:

After rooting using kingroot will we be able to flash the rom and did you use the twrp recovery to flash the rom cos I dont find a nandroid backup option in the twrp recovery

I flashed TWRP 3.1.1-0 which works perfectly. 3.2.0-0 doesn't seem to work well.

Very nice for a first release! Amazing work.
A little laggy sometimes but, i hope the developers continue with this rom.

2. Jio Data not working [Not sure because i not recharge actually prompt for sign in.
3. battery charging animation not working when connected to laptop. Animation gone after 1 min.
4. Tez app not working again.
5. when you download something from play store then download animated icon not showing. You need to manually go into status bar and check for it.

What is AOSP?
AOSP (Android Open Source Project) is Android just as Google publishes, without any other modifications or additions. More or less AOSP is the Pixel devices stock ROM without gapps and proprietary additions. I have also tweaked the default UI to look a bit more pleasing to the eye, inspired from Pixels, and also added inbuilt theming support for those who feel Vanilla AOSP UI is just way too bland. I didn't do format data when flashing this rom, just in case :
Clean wipe > flash rom file > gaaps > disable dm verity > reboot.

I've been using the rom for a while, and don't know if you noticed it, but it seems like usb tethering/MTP aren't working properly.
Also, seems like wireless adb does work!
EDIT: MTP and USB tethering both work after disabling USB debugging

I tried magisk canary build but it makes this phone stuck on fastboot mode, for now i use SuperSU from this thread :')

You can get the modded magisk from below. Only flash the files magiskR and install the magiskR apk (after removing phh su if installed) and do not update magisk nor update/hide the manager app. Everything works for me with that, even modules and magisk hide!

@MODEDGES There are several issues with your post.
First, the 'ROM Download" link leads to the official SparkOS project which does not seem to include any Samsung devices. For the sake of clarity, it would be better if your download link is specifically for this ROM; you could mention the project in your credits.
Second, you are required to post the source you used for your kernel, per the XDA GPL Policy. If I missed the link, please let me know.
Failure to correct these issues within 5 days will result in closure of this thread and removal of download links.
