I have Samsung j600f the phone freeze and restart itself after some touch mostly happen when I touch recent button or using YouTube,,,,
Any one who faced this before?

Anyone else have the issue that when the screen times out and turns off when turning on again the app has disappeared from the screen and has to be accessed again by selecting relevant app.
This is especially annoying when writing an email or text.
Any help would be much appreciated!
I had the same problem, and found that turning the screen back on using the power button on the side left the app you were using still active.
Yes .. It seems like when you press the home button after the screen goes off it not only switches the screen on but also takes you to the home screen. This wasn't the case in my old S2.
This happens if you freezed the S-Voice app! Unfreeze and all will be good

Interesting. Apparently it happens when s-voice activation by home screen is disabled, even if the app is not frozen. I disabled it because it induces a lag to the home button.

Thanks for the help on this. I had indeed disabled S-voice but even defrosting it did not solve the problem.
Using the side button instead of the home button does however bring me back to the app i was using. Thanks Silverback!

I updated to ma7 from ljc I believe. I remained stock since I bought the phone. On the new update, at times after pressing the power button to lock my phone, now when I press the power or home button it goes straight past the lock screen and into my phone. A reboot fixed the issue and it seems to happen randomly. Is there a setting to make sure it always goes to my lock screen first?

Not really sure what happened, but randomly my lock screen stopped appearing. When I hit the power button it goes right to the home screen.
Also, the home button will not bring me back to the home screen when I'm in the app drawer or operating within an app, but yet the home screen will wake the device up to no lock screen so I have to use the back key to get back to the home screen.
Really weird.
I'm running wicked v.10 and tried reinstalling the ROM to no success.
Help!!

If you are using Wanam Exposed then that is the reason.
Some of the options and settings in it can cause the issues you are experiencing.
If you have Wanam installed then open Xposed Framework and
click on "Framework" then select "uninstall" and reboot the phone.
It's a lot easier and faster that way than trying to search/find the exact
setting/option which was enabled that caused the issue in the first place.
Reinstalling it is fast and easy and does not require guesswork.
You can always re-install it really fast.
If you have not used Wanam then it must be some other mod which
was installed that's causing the issue.

Shoot. Didn't work. I Uninstalled it and the problem was still present.
I looked at my most recent updates apps and there wasn't anything significant.
Any other ideas?

Found out that it was the Google Home Launcher I installed. I uninstalled it using Titanium and POW, everything came back.
Not sure why that happened. but whatever.

Hi! I'm having troubles with my power button it just doesn't work sometimes mostly when the screen is on I press it and it doesn't work, and I don't know how to reboot since I need that button for that too.. I think is software problem and not hardware since it on, y has one week and it appears just sometimes, I can't find the cause yet, could it be the case with magnet?

I always install elixir widgets from the app store and create a reboot widget. It offers reboot,recovery,boot loader, and shutdown.
But if you shutdown, and the power button is not functioning, you'll need to wake the device via adb.
There probably is a dedicated app also.

Hi,
My tab 3 10.1 p5200 has this wierd touch screen lag. Touch screen works just fine. But most of the time its just unresponsive.
Examples:
1. I cant even complete the pattern unlock, i get wrong code error, because the touch stops working half way when i am completing the whole pattern.
2. I cant move the apps from the app drawer to desktop, because when i touch and hold the app icon in the app drawer it sometime opens the app itself and sometimes the app just places itself even when i am holding it.
3. The backspace in keyboard dosnt delete the text even if im holding the key.
SOMETIMES restarting the tab fixes the problem but thats only temporarily.
Basically the touch and hold fucntions seems to be buggy all of a sudden.
My device isnt rooted so i doubt if it could be affected by virus.
Any advice?
