What is LineageOS?
LineageOS, also known as LineageOS Android Distribution and Lineage (/ˈlɪn.i.ɪdʒ/), is a free and open-source operating system for smartphones and tablet computers based on the Android mobile platform. It is the successor to the highly popular custom ROM CyanogenMod, from which it was forked in December 2016 when Cyanogen Inc. announced it was discontinuing development and shut down the infrastructure behind the project. Since Cyanogen Inc. retained the rights to the Cyanogen name the project rebranded its fork as LineageOS.

the devs are on it... it'll take time but it'll surely be available

Installed, report below.
Bugs faced:
1. Screen touch does not work initially, works on locking and unlocking phone.
2. Interface feels a bit laggy in the beginning, improves with time.
3. Touch response can be slightly improved.
4. Max brightness is low. I think this is fixed in next version.
5. Clock gets cut in home screen, looks ok in notification silde.
6. Camera app slow to launch, photo not very sharp.
Since calls are not working in Jio Sim, I am not able to use it as a daily driver. Everything else found working in my initial testing.
@nitish159 and @SamarV-121 if we can help in any way, do let us know.
Thanks for your work!

Thanks for the testing, brightness and volte fixes are currently in the pipeline. Incall audio is fixed and will be merged into the build in a few days, till the time you can flash the attached zip to fix it.

Wow, that was quick, thanks buddy!
I flashed the zip, and wiped cache/dalvik, but still calling is not working. Do I need to do something else?
Another bug faced is that the camera interface takes a while to load, both with LineageOS camera as well as OpenCamera.
I will keep testing and reporting as found.

You can't call using jio for now, as volte isn't fixed completely, the zip I gave is just to enable incall audio (you can try receiving calls using your jio SIM, it'll work).
And thanks for mentioning this bug

It will, but it'll take time.

Hats off bro.

More reports after usage:
1. Default Touch sensitivity, acceleration can be increased.
Went into settings -> Input -> Pointer speed and cranked it up; slightly more responsive.
2. Camera interface takes a long time to load.
Gets annoying when trying to capture something quick.
Installed logcat viewer and enabled it.
Opened camera app but did not find any related message in logcat viewer.
In app it does not show any option for 16 MP (which is device default).
Screenshot attached.
3. Volte not working.
Did not find anything in logcat viewer.
Status bar shows LTE, while in mobile settings it is showing 3G (and there is no option for 4G or LTE).
Screenshot of network related settings attached.

Reflashed LoS today after several days of being on GSI. Feels smooth, and getting nice battery backup as well.
Looking forward to the next build.

Also, the nightlies support LVM for partition remapping, which allows the two internal data partitions (/sdcard and /data) to be merged into one that uses emulated storage for /sdcard (Android's standard method for ICS and later). Details can be found at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=55081626&postcount=546 . LVM is significantly safer than other partition remapping solutions as it does not actually alter the underlying partition table. As a result, switching layouts is MUCH faster than methods which remap the partition table, and switching layouts is more reliable and doesn't fail in strange and difficult-to-repair ways (such as the frequent failures of another solution that can be seen in the ColorOS 2.0.2i beta thread). There's a good chance Oppo will be switching over to this method with a future ColorOS release, especially after their experiences with 2.0.2
For historical reference, I will leave the pre-nightly test builds in the Downloads section of this thread. However, these are now obsolete.

Omni only supports TWRP recovery, use any alternate recovery at your own risk. Official TWRP for this device is:

Anyone flashing this should know the usual installation drill... Flash in recovery, flash gapps, wipe data/factory reset. If you don't know how to do these things, this package is not yet ready for users like you.
Thanks go to the following people for their help during bringup:

Current status as of 05/20/2014:
GPS works
Wifi works
Cellular radio works (data and voice calls)
Basic camera/camcorder functions work
Bluetooth works (tested with Google Glass and an OBDKey)
Sensors work (except for Google Camera Photosphere - see below)
Audio is flaky - Mic does not work in speakerphone calls (earpiece only) and headsets with microphones cause the audio HAL to barf. There are probably a number of other use cases where audio doesn't work well. Confirmed working are Google Play Music, Google Maps, earpiece calls, Bluetooth calls via Google Glass (Mic in speakerphone/headphones may be fixed in the 5/30 build - won't test until tomorrow.)
Not yet implemented (need to get the basics done first, these shouldn't be too hard since maxwen did them all on N1)
Screen-off gestures for music
"Hey, Snapdragon" voice wakeup - gotta talk to xplodwild about this
Superzoom mode (I'm about halfway there, it's in the 5/30 build but crashes when you take a shot, so effectively isn't really there...)
Known issues:
Rare spontaneous reboots due to the WCNSS firmware crashing (1-2 times/week for me)
Magnetometer (compass) gets "Stuck" if you use Google Camera
LPM (charging when device is off) is broken - device may charge but screen gets stuck on at the Oppo logo. (may sometimes happen when rebooting on charger)
Woot!
Here we go!
Sent from my OnePlus 7a
Finally a good vanilla build
My camera lenses produce a clicking noise everytime a camera app is closed. It didn't happen with color OS before. ¿is there any issue with it?
If you want to have a OP more attractive, i know content is attractive but picture too, here it is a simply prez from me...
You can use it freely... or trash it quickly !
Does VOCC Charging works now?
Also, 3-ring headsets do not work (ie like the headset that came in the box).
Great work guys... Running super for an alpha.
There's a typo, it's build in may, not april :good:

It's in-kernel, it's pretty much impossible to get a device with working charging without VOOC.

That's what I meant by headsets with mics barf. (although headsets with media controls might be in the same boat...)

Since 7a also use F3 for double tap it should be as easy as adding
<bool name="config_offscreenGestureSupport">true</bool>
to framework overlay
whats also the same is circle -> F4
the rest (F5 - F9) is different to the other oppos - actually we might need to filter them
out at the moment until we add support in the framework for them

BTW, what was the story behind https://github.com/omnirom/android_...mmit/0f6126a18e85e254d15421751abe78939beab1fd - were you getting a bunch of input event spam waking up the device during suspend? That's a problem I'm periodically seeing on this device.

Thats a little help to the "ear opening notification bar on call problem"
on the F5 it can take up to 500ms from screen off because of proxy
sensor until TS suspend is done - this filters out events during that time.
Its kinda hacky and doesnt solve the issue all the time but
better then before and little effort and risk.
We dont have the issue on the N1

Wasn't that a different patch?
I'm seeing a problem where the device gets stuck wakelocked processing lots of input event spam from somewhere, or it's not properly flushing the key event queue. It's intermittent - sometimes it's absolutely fine, other times it just goes nuts.

ah - no
LOL I was to much ahead and imagined another change you might
also find at some point
This one is actually obsolete AFAIKS since there is a check
for is_tp_suspended on top of the function. Think this is a "leftover"
for our properitary S2W impl that has been obsoleted

Finally to flat version, Thank you a lot @Fevax
This is fantastic news!! Thanks for all your hard work.
I thought the chances of seeing AOSP based ROM actually working on an Exynos platform were slim to none.
I hope you keep at it until it becomes suitable for a daily driver.
It's never impossible to see CM or AOSP based ROMs on Exynos devices I remember when I had a tab s 8.4 and they finally made CM stable and had fixed everything with extra help from users etc... With logcats and all other logs

Yay. Great work and thank you for bringing this to the S7
Can't wait until this is fully stable and everything is working
Hi which playstore and servoces I need ?
Thank you @Fevax for your amazing work!! here's my report after using your rom for 12 hours
Pros:
- Very very fluid and light
- Auto-brightness works well
- WiFi, Bluetooth, SIM work well
- Sound is loud enough
- Touchscreen and hardware buttons work perfectly
- Alarm woks
Cons:
- SIM contacts not detected
- SD Card not fully accessible
- Camera (obviously)
- Batterylife is moderate (no deep-sleep)
- No CM theme engine ((general cm14.1 issue))
- Scrolling through some apps is laggy
nice i will follow this rom and try it once it is a bit more like a beta
indeed camera and fingerprint sensor is something I used daily, so I will not test this rom now. But for SURE i'll be happy to test it when these feature are awailable

That's actually a bug and not supposed to happen. Since we don't have a navbar the gestural navigation is pretty broken. Switch to 3 button navigation and it should be okay then.

Samsung apps are not included. They are replaced with stock Android/Pixel apps
Installed the rom and it works nicely but right after I installed magisk and it now says it isn't rooted, and when I try to install it again it gives me a boot loop. I reinstall the rom backup but it;s still not rooted. Any suggestions?
Screenshots ?

You can use google camera app for better result. and as for battery life, i posted my results below. just about 1 hour on 4G data and the rest on wifi. Mostly used discord.
Also is it just me or the speaker volume sounds really low?
I installed it smoothly but there are some errors
* the call sounds low (opposite sound speaker)
* speaker speech is low
* the notification sound is low
* device crashed twice (Volume - + Home + Power Reset)
* Samsung video call not working
* battery consumption is high

hello for sharing your experience I tested LOS 17 but it is not stable enough too much random restart and it is not in official status which is not good for Safety so I stay on pixel expérience 9 version stable , magisk + exposed with safety it's ok ???
been using the rom for almost 2 days now. i didn't experience a single app crash or a random reboot.
first of all thank you so much for your hard work to get Android 10 to relatively old devices. I've been using this room for the past two days, I've experience some issues.
1. while in a phone call using (What's app, Messenger) the audio comes out of the speaker only. not sure if its an issue from my side or the rom (note that I've never experienced this issue while using other roms)
2. not really related to the rom but i'm trying to find a working version of google camera for Android 10 (Exynos) but no luck, would love if you guys can point me to the right direction.
Nice ??
Thank you for that amazing rom!
For me the audio levels are very good, I put audio sliders for all options to max and it's loud af.
Audio coming from speaker this might be problem coming from audio routing, I personally don't have that problem.
All I want now is to install magisk, YT Vanced and PROPER camera app, stock one is really bad

I think all android 10 roms have low sound problem. I keep using android 9 LightRom
Attention!
Don't use "Samsung 4k60 Camera Mod" module for Magisk, after install and reboot... I stuck in bootloop ;/
I had to re-install the rom.
Any ideas to unlock the cam? It's locked to poor 1080p -.-
Some struggle to boot the room... How long did the reboot into the system take ? I m stuck on the google logo since 10 min now...

You are right. Don't know why, but right after update I only had 4 modes available. Checked it again, now I have 5 as before.
Whatever happened here.

Same as always. Install update, DO NOT REBOOT, in Magisk choose to install to inactive slot, reboot.
If you have magisk modules enabled you might want to disable or uninstall those before installing the update as some modules can cause the device to boot loop after an update.
Thanks, works great

Just a note to people like me waiting for AA global - I was told by OnePlus that it should come out in the next few days.
Was also told it comes later because the India and European updates are regional, and AA is global, so there is more work needed to prepare it for all the rest
Can someone Co firm that this update do not removes nor modify the color camera?
Is there any camera improvement that is worth the upgrade?

Have seen nothing on the upcoming AA, but should be the same as the ones out already. So check them out.
The change log report the add of the h.265 code to the video. That would be a nice improvement

@vikasrockz Thank you so much for this, I am using it right now, it's the best custom ROM I have found so far.
Here is what didn't work for me.
* Recorder app doesn't work.
* The adaptive brightness feature is not stable, the brightness keeps moving up and down without a real change in the surrounding environment, its too bright most of the time
* Google Play Store and Google Play Services didn't update to the latest versions from the store automatically, I had to manually install the latest editions.
* I tried multiple MGC but they don't work when switching to front video, I still have to find a decent camera app.
* Night light doesn't work with DC dimming.
Other than that everything is flawless.

DC dimming will be removed. And for the camera we don't have yet fully functional gcam yet. But you can try BSG camera it works fine. And for play store and services o didn't had issues it got updated automatically with other apps as soon as I was connected to wifi
And the recorder app is working fine I was able to record audio without any error. What difficulty you faced tell [email protected]

For the recorder, try to playback what you recorded, for me, it didn't record any sounds and when I switch to phone mic it stopped recording.
I tried BSG camera (this one - MGC_8.1.101_A9_GV1n_ENG.apk ), but when I switch the video to the front cam it crashes.

If you are on miui, then go to twrp, wipe data cache, metadata and all except internal storage, if ur having rom on external storage like otg or sd card then u can wipe internal storage also. After doing all these steps. Then flash firmware file which is around 80-90 mb. Then flash rom. Then formats data and reboot.
Hi, thanks for the Beautiful ROM, I just installed it and it's perfect, much prefer it to CrDroid which was previously my only option for my device, due to this one being much cleaner with less bloat, just have a curious newbie question, what does unofficial mean in this scenario, and what exactly differentiates this ROM from a supposedly official Pixel experience Build?

To become an official PixelExperience there're some pre-requisites that the developer must accomplish. i.e. you can't create a ROM and put it to be "Official" even if ot wirks excellent, and there are a couple of requirements in terms of quality and rules that must be met before applying the ROM to be an official build.
If you're interested you can check and learn the details at this URL: https://github.com/PixelExperience/official_devices/blob/master/README.md

For being official build there are some rules to be followed by Pe team that's it. No difference between unofficial and official. Unofficial is way better because we can add some extra tweaks and features from our side but in official we have to follow rules and requirements for a device.

I've used CrDroid, The Xperience Project and this Rom, Performance is honestly nearly identical, my battery was best on the Xperience Project and worse on CrDroid, nevertheless I'm gonna keep using this as on Xperience I couldn't change my bootanimation to the Pixel one, where as this Rom uses comes with it out of the box and both Xperience and CrDroid had some preinstalled apps I deemed unnecessary and had to root my device to remove
I really like the rom but I find the AOD (ambient display) somewhat bright. The black doesn't seem like AMOLED black. It's backlit.

Blame Xiaomi for cheap display panel.
Great rom, probably the best I've tried, couple problems tho. First, as someone else said, google recorder app is not working. What I found out is that its not because of the app, it has something to do with the mic itself. Most voice recorder apps work fine but some don't. Same thing happened on crDroid as well. Second, the display doesn't switch to P3 colour mode when for example watching HDR on youtube. You can see the display going into high brightness mode but colours are not switching. Same thing in google photos with wide color gamut pictures. This tho, works fine on other roms I've tried.
One more irritating issue, probably due to a cheap digitizer not this ROM, whenever I'm trying to record a voice message on Whatsapp it deselects the mic button and interrupts the recording (as if I have moved my finger away from the screen)
