No.

Updated yesterday and I noticed less battery drain at night.
Also "hide notch" option has disappeared.
Rooted with magisk and everything works fine.

There's a new option in battery setting: adaptive battery

I distorted the audio and noticed a greater consumption of the battery...

Go to the updater and tap 10 times on miui 10 picture in the middle. You'll get choose package option in the three dot menu on top right corner.

Integrate the dark mode?

so does this update work or was it pulled for some reason? I have the downloaded file from the original post but not sure if it's bad to use or not.

Hi everyone, in this thread I'll provide MIUI9 official roms from alpha tester. At the moment stability seems good but I always recommend to have a backup.
ATTENTION!!!
To install the recovery rom is required to have ZCX installed, if you try with TWRP the phone won't boot. Here's the .img file:

Seems that on closed beta somebody is able to do ota update even without a beta tester account so before flashing this try if it works and tell me thanks.
Wipe cache, dalvik, data is necessary for the first flash if you come from miui 8.
After that only cache and dalvik recommended.
I don't own this rom, this is original Miui 9 taken from xiaomi alpha tester account. Language are only chinese/english .
I'll update the post daily as I get the new version.
Thank you, enjoy MIUI9!

Thank you so much. All doubts cleared.
Bootloop in miui 9 after flashing xposed
root your rom with magisk and install magisk's xposed, works for me
Running XenonHD, helium and tried v88 and v88.1
Able to flash framework and install Xposed_Installer. But what i want is gravitybox and installing that results in bootloops.
Have not tried other modules as i dont need anything else.

Yep! Same old, same old1 Unfortunately this kind of behavior is not uncommon for Xiaomi! Why they need this is beyond me! Let me just say that for such a big company this is disappointing and definitely not something what give us confidence to buy their phones and other products in the future. I mean, what's the point?! You buy something and then you hope that they give you fair amount of updates on regular base?! Just around corner but never there! C'mon Xiaomi!!!
Anyone facing Battey and Performance issue ? How is battery life ? What all camera issues are there apart from Focus issue ?

Nokia x7 Android pie

Hey, I bought a Nokia x7 4/64 today. It installed 200mb update and it's on Nov security patch.
2 of my friends who have 6gb version have gotten Android pie update. But why doesn't my phone get it!? They're all for China so there won't be delay because of region.
Anybody has Chinese forums for it? I couldn't find any
Nokia doesn't have Chinese community on its site.

I got it and I've uploaded to Google Drive:
Download here.
All working great, found just a couple of small issues, when watching a video in Landscape (youtube for example), if I pull down the notifications, the icons are aligned to one side and notifications are aligned to the centre of the screen and also if I pull the multi task view, the thumbnail for the app preview looks like a flat bar that's it really, everything else looks fine and stable.
Thanks a lot,
N one more question, newbe here, what do u mean by side load?
n also, does it matter what build I'm currently on?
Installing from recovery or sth?
How do i do that????*

You need to boot into recovery, the way I did that was by using the "adb reboot recovery" command, to do this you need to first enable developer options, then connect the cable from the pc to the phone and type that command, once in recovery, you should see android lying down with an exclamation mark, press volume up + power, or volume down + power, can't remember which one, basically you want to see a bunch of options on the screen, once you see them, using the volume keys to navigate through the options and power button to select the option, select the sideload option and type "adb sideload <nameOfFile.zip>" it will take a few minutes to finish, just let it run...
I'm assuming you know the basics for using adb some youtube videos will tell you more if you needed.

you need to unlock bootloader first in order to change rom (eea to global, etc.)

So I can't download the firmware and install it from the updater after tap 10 times on the miui logo to enable "install from..." thing?
What does eea means btw?
Thanks

In my case this version was installed Over The Air (OTA).

Wait for the new OTA, they interrupted the distribution because of the system damage issue.

EEA is a short for European Economic Area, which means EEA rom is made for European Market.

I see. Can I manually update to V10.2.9.0. global? My current version in V10.2.2.0 global. Do I have to be bootloader unlocked?
Apparently you have the 10.2.2.0 PFBMIXM global firmware (international), the 10.2.9.0 is global EU (EEA) so you can definitely install this firmware but not like a normal OTA nor using the in-built update section on the phone (I mean by downloading the image manually, stransferring it to the phone and select it in the update section).

Thank you for your replay. So how do I do it?
GRUS Global_V10.3.1.0.PFBMIXM is still available in the mi community, if some wants to try
