Belkin Boost⬆️Up Wireless Charging Stand - Google Pixel 3 XL Accessories

I was just at my local Wal-Mart, and I noticed this charging stand. I also noticed it listed the Pixel 3 and 3 XL on the front. I asked the employee if we could plug it in and check to see if it actually did rapid charging. She obliged. When I put my pixel 3 XL on the stand it said charging rapidly. Obviously, I haven't fully tested it, as I just bought it, but I know there's been issues finding fast charging stands that work. It also has the made for Google pixel logo on the front of the box. And it's only $40.

Looks like there's two versions of the Boost up, one specifically for the Pixel and one for the other devices. Glad you found one for the Pixel.

So it charges at the full 10W? Their site doesn't list the Pixel 3/3 XL ... Very interesting! Can you take a snapshot of the box??

Here's the screen shot from their website.
The one for the Pixel is model F7U052dqBLK-MG for the stand and F7U050dqBLK-MG for the pad.
The other pad and stand removes the "-MG"

Here it is.

Yah, this has been around since November, but that price...

Picked one of these up at Walmart today for $39.95. The part number is F7U052dqBLK (without the -MG) and the box is marked with the 'G' logo and 'Made for Google Pixel', and lists the Pixel 3 and 3 XL as supported devices (along with iPhone and Samsung models.) It charges at about 2 amps so it does support a full 10 watts. Bottom line, the -MG marking appears to be obsolete for indicating a 'Made for Google' charger. The unit is marked 'v2' after the model number so perhaps there is just one model supporting all phones now. In any event $39.95 is far less than you will find anywhere else, if your local Walmart happens to have them.
.

I've looked, can't find at walmart. Had one that was on SD supposedly working, but it doesn't do past 500 ma charge. Any suggestions?

You kinda just have to keep looking. Right after I got my Walmart $39.95 'steal' I saw the same Google-compatible Belkin model at Target for $34.95! Yet the other Target in town had the same unit for $59.95, go figure. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason why they show up at a heavy discount at retail, nor can you even count on all stores in the same chain to have the same price. Weird.

I got the one that was supposedly "fast charging" based on the UPC, it doesn't fast charge. Won't go passed 500ma

my Walmart still has them. boxes are identical, but it's got the made for Google logo on the bottom right corner of the box. happened to find one on clearance at Target for $20, but that was a few months back so they're likely all gone by now

Forget the UPC, the one you want is with the box marked with the 'G' logo and says 'Made for Google Pixel', and lists the Pixel 3 and 3 XL as supported devices.

The one linked in SD supposedly works, I went to several today and they're all just the plain ones. No G logo. Waste of time.

AT&T Nokia DT-900 QI charger $24.50 + Tax/ DT-910 $51.75 + tax

***UPDATE*** there is an issue with some Nexus 4s and the Nokia DT-900. It appears to be an issue with some N4 implementation of the QI standard. Also does not semi affect all N4s. I don't own an N4 so don't know all the details. If you own an N4 this charger may not work for you.
I recently got a Nokia DT900 referb from ebay (white) for $24.99, and it works great. It includes a power source with a decently long cord.
I just saw AT&T is having a sale on the Nokia DT-900 (various colors):
http://www.att.com/shop/wireless/accessories/chargers/sku6290260.html#fbid=BsyWhzJwki0
hope this helps those that missed out on the back-ordered Samsung wireless charger.
Just saw the DT-910 is also on sale for &51.75 plus tax. For those that want a charger that works as a vertical stand. That's the best price I've seen on the DT-910. personally a littler more than I'm willing to spend (money's tight right now).
UPDATE: Someone pointed out that is you have a Premier accout you can get an additional 25% discount if you order two ore more, that's $38.95 after taxes for two ($19.48 each after taxes).
Great find, I'm going to pick one up at my local store tomorrow! Thanks!

great catch! Just ordered 2 of them for the price of one, on top of that if you order 2 accessories, there's an additional 10% off. So for 2 chargers with the discounts and taxes came to 47 bucks.

I like the idea of wireless charging, but can't bring myself to pay $40, $50 or $60+ for a single wireless charger. $25ish is the reasonable area for me, maybe a little more for a charger that stand the device up for use while charging. Alas, all
those are still too pricey for me (Nokia DT-910, Tylt Vu).

I'm thinking of picking up a wireless charger. Will this charge the tablet as fast as plugging it into an outlet? If not, how much longer does it take?
Thanks

wireless charging is less efficient, so all things being equal it will charge a bit slower.
I saw a chart someone made comparing the charge time of their phone, wireless (inductive) vs standard plugged in charging. It took that particular device (a Nexus 4, I believe) and additional 40 minutes to charge completely. I would assume the nexus 7 would take a bit more than that because of it larger battery. I would guess, and it is just a guess, a little more than an hour extra (75 to 90 minutes extra).
Maybe someone else who has done it can give you better info. I personally like to charge my device befer the go below 50% if it all possible.
I had the same thought you did at first but then someone pointed out that all Micro-USB ports are flimsy and that if you use them every day for charging, the can eventually wear out. So I could see it as an investment. Still haven't seen my way to forking over 50 bucks for the thing, but I may pick one of these up.
I'm not that worried about the usb port breaking. I mainly want the wireless charger just because I think it's cool I've yet to have a usb port break on me. I think I'll try picking one of those up at the att store since 25 seems like a more reasonable price for something I don't really need.

I have the Nokia 910 and it takes 5 hrs for a full charge. Approx 20% per hour. They work great for overnite which is what I use.
-----------------
Went to my local store today and was able to price match their website. So far it seems to be working great! It is even charging through an older folio case that I have that doesn't fit the nexus. So it's good to know that function will still work once the cases I ordered have arrived.
Now, did I need to buy this... no... But like most of my technology purchases I buy them because I want it. I like the ease of just placing it on the pad at night and letting it charge. Also it will keep one less wire floating around and protect the usb port for a bit.
Thanks again, OP!

Was it difficult to price match? I'm planning to pick one up today in-store. The website does say in-store pick up is doable so there probably won't be any issues.

Would they even price match the 10% discount if you buy two?
Tempting to get this. I had this exact charger that I used on my wife's GS3. The trickle charge kept us awake at night, so I sold it on eBay. My wife's GS3 would light up and make a sound when charging hit 100%. Then it would stop charging and restart when the device dropped to around 98%. Each stop and restart lit up the screen and played a notification sound. Not good when it happens next to your bed 8-9 times in the middle of the night. I guess its not a problem of you use a folio style case.
I don't think the USB port is going to break in the 1-2 years I will use this device before replacing it with something newer.
When I tried to select in-store pick up at checkout on the website there was no option to select a store, so I'm assuming I'll have to try to purchase it in-store.

Does the DT900 make the sound or the GS3?
The phone lit up and made a sound. The charger doesnt make a sound but it does have an LED light that turns on when charging.
Just got a black one from my local AT&T store. $24.50 plus tax, and they didn't have to price match it was on sale in the store for the same price. This was in Durham North Carolina near the SouthPoint Mall.
What I didn't realize before purchasing is that uses a proprietary cable, and not a USB cable. But for the price I guess I can't complain

I just picked one up from an AT&T store here in Los Angeles. I advised them of the online sale, but once they scanned it in, it showed up as $24.50. That part took less time than me explaining it to them what I was going to use it for!
Odd color scheme. I got the black one, but the actual power brick is white. Given the price, I can't complain...and it works perfectly.

Time to turn my 900 into a stand

I just picked this up at AT&T for the 24.50. I can't seem to get it to work with my Nexus 7 though.
Works perfectly with mine.
Have to hit just about dead center of the back and the indicator on the pad goes solid white.

Wireless Charger

If you live in Germany and have been waiting for the Wireless Charger to hit the Play Store, it just did!
I just ordered it and now I'm waiting for the Nexus 7 and the Wireless Charger to arrive this week.
God damn it's a good time to be alive.
Also on the Play store in the UK
Tempting, but the ridiculous shipping cost (£10.99) kills my interest in an instant.

It's a quality piece of gear though with the magnets, high charge rate and tiny form factor.
Most brand name wireless chargers have sold for more then this at their launch.
Despite that...

Despite that fact, I don't believe wireless charging is at a point where it's worth €50 four something I can touch my phone to as opposed to plugging it in. It doesn't sound feasible.
I actually agree with you though I'd still love to have one. As far as value goes compared to other wireless charging devices though it is priced accordingly. And after all its a good time to be alive

Authentic Pixel chargers on Amazon for $22

Amazon seems to have genuine Pixel 2 chargers on sale for $22. at the moment.
-- I dont have 10 posts yet so can't share the link, but they have them, ordered it yesterday--
(shipped and sold by Amazon is why I believe this one is genuine)
Picked up a black and white Pixel 2 XL from Craigslist last week after my S8 turned 1. I was itching for something different
It came in one of those flat boxes with just the G on the front of the box and no accessories. Thus wanting a fast charger. I spent a little time looking and didn't come across a kit that seemed reliable for my new stormtrooper for less than the genuine thing from Google for $37 or so with tax.
Will update the thread if it's not legit when received later this week.
Wanted to share the find.
What is the link?

I just joined and until I have 10 posts I'm not allowed to post the link.
Or I would have...the site restricted me when I tried.
I think this is the Google charger they're referring to.

Yes.
And I received it. Appears to be in authentic packaging and can confirm it fast charges.
Any Power Delivery rated charger should work. I have a couple Aukey chargers that have a PD USB-C port as well as a QC 3.0 USB-A port, since my girlfriend has a Galaxy S7.

original accessories from google?

I was wondering if it's possible to get the original accessories that come in the box from Google support or something? Got a pixel 3 xl for a good price but it came with none of those

TLDR: Only Googly things worth purchasing (on sale) are the stand and fabric case.
Congrats on the new phone. You can buy anything in the box on Google... but why? They are ALL overpriced and there are many quality USB-C charging products out there. Deals abound right now on equivalent stuff. I took my P3XL out of the box and just plugged it into my existing P2XL stuff. Everything is still in the P3XL box. One useful thing is the USB-A to USB-C dongle which I use for USB thumb drives, but you can get that anywhere. I did break down and buy a G Stand when they were on sale half-price on BF. No way would I pay $80 for this. Still kicking myself for paying $40 BUT it is fast charging wireless and more importantly lets me use the phone on my desk at the right angle and it doesn't move around. Solid piece of kit once you switch off EVERY other function but wireless charging. Oh, and I ordered a carbon fabric case because I loved that on my P2XL.
Careful of low quality USB type C cables. I find even the Anker ones I bought on Amazon don't charge my phone as fast as the Google ones after only using it for a month... (Used ampere to check charge speed) And if you buy some really crappy ones you can kill your phone. Don't skimp on cables or chargers... My friend asked me why his phone doesn't register inputs properly when he's charging and he had cheap cables (the phone was doing funky stuff while plugged in)
Something like this might be a good buy for you

Where to find stock charger for our watches? I'm in canada

I've looked and all i can find is the 3rd party chargers that everyone complains about. They either overheat the charger or the watch. I need one in canada or a company that will chip to canada.
Samsung doesn't ship to Canada?
i bough 2 no name ( well they did have a name on the box Moko) and have been pleased. 2 for 25 bucks if i remember correctly.
not sure if they get too hot but id say warm during charging. and when it hits full therrs an indicator that changes to green and i believe that it also stops the charge...
now what im looking for is a stand for both samsung phones and watches that is up right. not a slate.
ive ordered 2 and they both are 3 watt for the watch charger and it dosent work(needs to be 5). but phone charges well.
I found a stock s3 charger on amazon.ca for $49 There is no stock galaxy watch charger available anywhere. It doesn't exist. I asked samsung and they said its the same charger. Samsung canada does not have a store to buy from. They just tell you where you can purchase one but at this time, that feature is not working so go figure. Samsung US does not ship to canada. Why sell something and not sell extra chargers or any accessories for it?
If you live close to the border I wonder if you can get it shipped to a place in the US then just drive across and pick it up?
