WHAT IS TWRP?
Oh come on, you know what it is - don't try to fool me!
In case you're serious, though...
Team Win Recovery Project is a custom recovery for Android devices.
It allows you to back up and restore your data, flash custom ROMs to your device, repair broken file systems, and root your device.

Bugs
1:-encryption don't work
DOWNLOAD:
TWRP
*note always download the latest twrp in the folder
Flashing Guide
1:- Unlocked Boot-loader is required.
2:- Download TWRP recovery .img file compatible with your device and save to a separate folder on your PC.
3:- Setup ADB and Fastboot on your PC.
4:- Enable USB debugging on your device.
5:- Open the folder where you saved TWRP Recovery .img file in Step 2 above.
6:- Now open a command window inside that folder. To do that, “Shift + Right click” on any empty white space inside the folder and then select “Open command window here” from the context menu.
7:-Connect your device to the PC. And type the following into the command adb reboot bootloader
8:-Once your device boots into bootloader mode, issue the following command into command window to flash the TWRP recovery .img file fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
9:-Once TWRP is successfully flashed on your device, issue the following command to reboot fastboot reboot
Note:- THIS IS ONLY A TESTING RELEASE SO MANY THING CAN BE BROKEN.​THIS IS MADE DIRECTLY FROM SOURCE NOT PORTED​

Sure, what SS do you need?
Managed to root both miui 9.6.7 stable and 8.7.26 dev (miui10) by flashing Magisk 16.7 via TWRP
For encryption, i just clicked cancel when it asks for password/key
Also, flashing xiaomi.eu rom leads to bootloop, not sure if due to xiaomi.eu or TWRP

Didnt try, doubt it would, 16 doesnt support treble enabled xiaomi roms

How to apply stock rom?

Try latest potato treble. It's cool

I flashed descendant os a/b treble built, everything is working so far but the ui is not my cup of tea.

Tried android 12 Beta gsi-gms yesterday, no luck...
Data partition does not install at all, so phone stuck on fastboot screen.

You mean the version developed by Google? The one I've linked up is the pixel gsi version ported by some dev on github to work with android phones on pie and up, my friend got it working on his realme device but i personally didn't test it on my p20 lite because i recently installed los 18 and I'm happy with it so far.

Installed TWRP recovery (NOTE : Install this ROM via TWRP 3.3.0 2, older versions might give error 7.)
Downloaded /e/ rom zip file from below link and copy downloaded zip file to external sd card.
INSTALLATION :
Reboot to recovery (volume down + power button)
Make a nandroid backup (extremely important)
Wipe data/factory reset, advanced wipe (WARNING: Don't wipe external sd card).
Flash /e/ os zip file.
Reboot (First boot will take 5 - 6 minutes)

I know its made by him. Didn't you see his name in credits ? No, how can I remove bugs and all ? All I've done is to share his work so that people know about it. I've not made it or done anything to the rom. One day I just stumbled over /e/ os and searched it for our device on google. I got results and saw that Andi made it. I searched on XDA and got nothing so I wrote a PM to andi for permission and got no reply (of course, I did all this in 2021 and Andi hasn't seen XDA in 21). Assuming that he either forgot or got busy, I made a thread for him. I'm not using his work ( or I would've put my name in credits too ). I've already talked if I am allowed to do this to @Badger50 and he says its OK (and now threads moved to general by him as I'm not the dev of this ROM)

hey !! Well this is a de-googled version of android to protect user privacy, so better don't install Gapps. If you want to download apps, there is an app store included.

So should I request an android 8 version of this rom now that we have oreo rom for tab 2 ??

Hey there ! Sorry I can't request an oreo rom because /e/ requires Lineage OS rom while currently the one made by @Mighty is an AOSP.

What do you think about this @Mighty ? Will we have a Lineage OS oreo rom in future ? And then maybe /e/ ? (Am I burdenning you ? )

Oh ok ! Others can build it. All we have to do is request an Oreo rom on /e/ forums once Lineage OS is done. And you'll have to provide them the permission to use your rom as base.

Reboot Your phone into Fastboot mode
Run force wipe flasher
Wait for the phone to reboot.
Done! Easy? Yup!

oh boy, this is for curtana only, it isn't miatoll/joyeuse/excalibur version... just pray that you didn't bricked device, jeez. try to flash latest joyeuse firmware for your region (mi global, eea, turkish, russian)
edit: is your bootloader unlocked, it is must have for custom rom's and firmware reflashing and changing regions

Problem : Fastboot driver

waiting for the rom zip flash via recovery

Great job and thanks for your effort .
1-I have problem when i need turn off one of sim card , the UI crached .
2-Another problem the SD card not shown in any file explorer.
3-Another problem after flashing this rom , i can't flash any rom and "error 7" shown in twrp recovery .
4-and another problem while making a call if i turn speaker on the mic not work .

Quck Question - banking applications work by default or they need spoofing by Magisk? can you try it with Revolut and Google Wallet. Thanks in advance, you absolute legend. It will be installed on my Curtana to give a try, and if banking apps work - it is going to my main Joyeuse

Bank apps are working. Revolut works, but google wallet play store does not appear, maybe it is not available in my country.

Thank you for quick answer. For me it is important that banking apps work like Revolut or from my local bank. Not working NFC for now isn't issue, but I'm sure that would be fixed when Xiaomi releases official ROM to Joyeuse users (Curtana users don't have NFC)

First of all, I want to thank you for the work done in creating custom roms.
I have a xiaomi redmi note 9s unlocked bootloader.. I installed xiaomi myself. 12.2.5.6 0 with android 11 with orange fox recovery for android 11.
I updated to orange fox recovery for android 12 (according to the above specifications left by you...).. I did the installation cleanly (following the above instructions left by you)..
But unfortunately it remains stuck in the bootloop (picture with Resmi) - I waited 25-30 minutes and no change... it doesn't boot with the MIUI logo - like it is with xiaomi 12.5.6 0 with Android 11... Some tips they would be welcome at your place - maybe I'm wrong...

Always format data after rom flashing
Format data by typing yes and reboot and then check

Sorry, the orangefox link does not boot in the updated new version. OrangeFox I left the old version link on the topic.

Not a bug. Sim activation deleted. Because every reboot, it sends sms abroad, which causes high billing.
