Skins for A50 - Samsung Galaxy A50 Accessories

Finally Got a Samsung A50, I love the display of the phone, looks more bright and colors are punchy. And the skin I applied on my A50 is from Gadgetshieldz. A super grippy skin I've ever used and looks gorgeous. Checkout the images of A50 beauty.

It looks really nice!

Hope this is not a plug for Gadgetshieldz. Their items are generally of average quality at best but they are good at promoting their products across various channels resulting in people buying their products and regretting later.

What is the material of the case? Is it soft rubber type or hard plastic?

Hello
Product of poor quality, I bought once, there will be no second.
Sorry for my English.

It looks terrible to me, might be good, no idea about that.

I don't know what products you have used from them but I didn't find anything wrong with the quality of their skins. I had read only good things about their skins before buying. I liked what I had applied on my A50 and I shared here. Those skins are looking even more fab in actual.

Hair dryer is must to smooth the edges and corners. Get one from your neighborhood incase if you don't have.

Just a heads up folks that we are now covering both the A70 and A50 ?

Shipping to my country costs 6 dlls so I'm not sure if it's worthy for just a $7 to $15 on skins, maybe if I find some friends that have compatible models too.

Btw based on the JerryRigEverything video, dBrand has A50 skins now as well : https://dbrand.com/shop/samsung-galaxy-a50-skins

Anyone has any experience with them?

I'll let you know when it actually arrives
From the looks of the pics it looks like the battery cover is slightly thicker than the stock cover, so it should protect the camera lens from scratching.
thanks ! have been looking for these for a while !
I'm actually after a spare stock rear battery cover. Anyone seen them being sold online or at a shop?
Thanks! I'll buy the black one, because I don't want to scratch the original one.

I dont think you could scratch the original one even if you tried. Its made of perforated plastic and is rough to touch anyway.
I think these might be cool for parties etc
Depending on the price I'd love to get a yellow and green one!
Well I actually bought the white one, will post pictures/comments when I have it. If people are interested
Here you can buy an original one:

Yes please. Im interested in the White one and would love to see how it looks in real life.
Ordered a black one just because it has the Galaxy S II logo on the back
Should look nice with my translucent black TPU case.

Nice link, shame the only colour they seem not to do is the one I want (red)
I'd like to se e metal ones. Maybe somthing the same colour as the metal on the outer rim of the phone would look good.
I would be very interested in one if these if they played nice with the Zagg invisibleShield FULL BODY maximum coverage or easy install. The stock back has the texture which makes the invisible shields look like junk and peel.
Anyone want to be my guinea pig?? =D
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
If the price was right, it would be cool to be able to switch the back cover to suit the colour of your wallpaper. $13 seems a little steep though. If it had been $6 I might have gone for a couple.
Interested to see what they look like in reality though.

Nillkin Dynamic Fashion Hard Case Review

Just thought I'd post my opinion on my latest case and throw up a few pictures for you guys to have a look at..
This is my second case for my S3, the first one being a FONEM8 Hard Slim Shell off eBay (www.ebay.co.uk/itm/140764120157) and while I was happy with the fit and style the rubberised texture attracted dirt like you wouldn't believe. In the end I had a grotty off white case that wouldn't even wash clean You can see what I mean in the 3rd picture.
Off I went looking for something similar in fit but with a gloss/shiny finish so it didn't end up all mucky and found the Nillkin Dynamic Fashion Hard Case (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/230807084265) paid my £10 and waited for the postman. It arrived fairly quickly from China and I'm pretty happy with it. The rainbow effect that can be seen in the pictures is fairly subtle and can't really be seen in the pictures, its most noticeable in natural light.
Here's the pictures anyway (http://imgur.com/a/Hy2gp)

Those are really nice, I have the black textured one and it feels like it will protect your phone. Also goes over the bezel of the phone enough that you can leave it face down.
I bought one but didnt like it, i didnt like that theres little to no protection on the corners of the phone ,i bought a samsung vented case instead and like that better

The corners and top/bottom are a tad exposed, for me its trying to find happy medium between protection and keeping the device feeling slick and lightweight, can be tricky
I tend to go through cases quite alot (finished with about 8/9 for my iPhone) so I'll do a thread like this for each one I buy so others have a decent(ish) reference :good:
Here is mine...
Good.

Which case to buy?

Hey there. I'm looking to buy a good case for my phone. I live in Ireland and if possible can any one find a nice cheap case from UK or Ireland if possible ? Any suggestions appreciated

I cannot help you more than giving you my own experience, so that you can know if it is or not what you want
Heavy Duty case (unboxing and life-tested (simply don't know how to break my device with it :silly:
Tempered glass protector to fully protect the device
i'll soon try to find another case for a XT1039 -but lighter than the one for my XT1032-, and post a review asap.

I have a xt1032 (forgot to mention) the case looks nice. I don't mind if its a bit chunky unless its really chunky, overall I think the case looks nice . I don't know whether or not I need screen protector because I thought moto g screen is scratch proof. My current case is a big thick leather flip case which is a bit annoying when I play games.

For me the best case is the moto grip shell. It's colorful, it protects both the screen (because the silicon part comes a little bit over it) and the phone itself. You can find it on different websites around 10$...
A few days ago I ordered the case @matmutant suggested. It comes with screen protector, stylus and case and all for just 8€ so I'm pretty happy

For me the best is grip official shell, i have the white one and i like it so much. So nice and useful..
grip shell from motorola is the best, all around performance, protect enough, slim enough

carbon fiber vinyl and gloss in less than 2 dollar

ok so i got this done from a local graphics guy who wraps vinyls on cars and bikes.. gave him this template and baaam... just 100rupees and phone is sexy
both the carbon fiber and orange vinyl are stickers
please share your views and suggest me things that i could do.., as it just costs a dollar i don't mind changing it every month

yes i had scraped my back and it looked bad as i have the white version.. soo this decals look soo cool at such minimal cost
i have the carbon fiber sticker but it just messed up coz i dont know where to do the cutouts.. its a really good idea to cover the sandstone back to prevent it from being fcked up ...
just stick it up first and then do the cut out
how are those metal bumpers pls share ur review n pictures of it.
i find them very useful

Does the bumper increase the weight of the phone a lot? I do not use any kind of case/cover cause it adds a lot of bulk to an already heavy phone straining my pinky finger on which it's balanced for most of my use. But the bumper seems useful.
Ok it's been over 6 months since your post, what's your setup now?

Review of UAG S6 Edge cases w/lots of pics!!!

I promise not to bore you with another one of my long review write ups among hundreds I've shared with you already in our community
Due to similarities with the original UAG S6 case, please refer to my full detailed review here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/accessories/review-uag-galaxy-s6-lots-pics-t3103661
But I still want to mention a few things. When I heard of S6 Edge announcement and seen early images, the first thing that went through my mind was "oh, no, how the heck manufacturers going to make their cases for a full protection of this phone?!?" You have to admit, it's a challenge for sure. While there is no issues protecting top and bottom of the phone, you no longer have a luxury of wrap-around sides to keep your phone save? Just got Maverick and Ash cases for my S6 Edge display model, and UAG nailed it! You still have access to view sides of the display, the edges have a protection bumper, and you have an extra thick bumper protection at the top and the bottom. I know, the top and the bottom edges look like they sticking out more than usual (due to recessed side edges), but I think it's for the best to keep the phone safe if you drop it down.
The case itself is super lightweight at only 1.2 oz, and it was still 3rd party Drop Tested to MIL-STD 810G-516.6 standard. All other design elements are identical to the original S6 case. Here for S6 Edge, UAG only introduced Maverick (transparent clear color, http://www.urbanarmorgear.com/products/clear-galaxy-s6-case , available on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/URBAN-ARMOR-GEAR-Samsung-Galaxy/dp/B00TRG8K0A/ ) and Ash (transparent gray color, http://www.urbanarmorgear.com/products/ash-case-for-galaxy-s6-edge, available on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/URBAN-ARMOR-GEAR-Samsung-Galaxy/dp/B00TRG8KGY/). Both colors create a sick 3D transparent effect that looks cool with a slick design of S6 Edge.
Here are the pictures.
