Galaxy watch active auto disconnect phone feature - Samsung Galaxy S10+ Accessories

anyone knows how we could enable galaxy watches to disconnect from phone and connect to your wifi automatically?
I've tried wifi auto and always on and all the time i have to disconnect manually? i understand if you wear your watch to sleep for tracking purposes it would benefit the users, but we are talking about a day or two usage before charging it.
back then when i was on wear os watches, this is automatic.

Just taking a shot in the dark hear (and a work around) but could you use Tasker to turn off the Bluetooth on your phone when it connects to your home Wi-Fi? I would think if you did this it would force your watch to connect to a saved Wi-Fi network.

I'm quite sure once you turn bluetooth back on, phone will attempt to connect back to the watch and watch will allow it.
very thankful you tried to help [emoji16]

for some reason, it's working as expected now.. not sure what changed, but instead of disconnecting the watch from the phone, i could leave it as is and still get notification on my phone instead of the watch. watch now connects to wifi automatically, so it will notify my phone instead of vibrating the watch.

Galaxy Nexus Wi-Fi Goes to Sleep even when always on is checked in the menu options.

Did anybody notice their WiFi going to sleep even when I have "always" checked in the "Keep WiFi on during sleep" advanced menu option for WiFi? I'm using Groove IP as my voip connection and need my WiFi to be on constantly in order to receive calls, however, whenever the phone goes to sleep mode, my WiFi connection turns off and when I wake the phone it takes a couple of seconds for WiFi to turn back on and then my voip app signs back in.
Does anyone have a suggestion for this issue?
P.S. I have a GSM unlocked version of Galaxy Nexus
Thanks
I have the exact same issue and it's driving me nuts. First I thought it's because I'm using a custom ROM, now I restored everything to stock 4.01 and I still get the same issue.
Could rooting be the cause?
It happens to me to when I'm streaming videos from phone to my tv, as soon as screen goes off on the phone within a few mins the wifi will go off or slow down considerably.

If muted there will be a bell with a slash on it. Slide down while on the watch face to mute/unmute.
Airplane mode, say "OK Google, Settings" or tap the face, slide up, second from the last, third from the top.
I had to do a reset and it fixed itself. I think the issue was going out of range multiple times with the htc one m8. I had this same issue with my sony smartwatch 2. It would just eventually not connect anymore and would have to repair. With this watch it had a false connect even though I would unpair it thru the settings and set up the watch in the android wear app. It still didn't do anything. A reset of the watch would fix the issue with the resetup of the watch. I think this is an issue. If the device goes out of range multiple times with a connect and disconnect it eventually stops connecting then reports a false connect.

I've woken up to this problem this morning as well. Airplane mode is not on.. It's not Muted. Just doesn't work. Did a reset on the watch.. still nothing. Phone is a Note 3
Edit* Power cycled my phone and now they work again.. weird
Also, make sure under settings->security on the phone that you have notification access enabled for wear.

The Moto 360 doesn't make noise. On my phone, notifications still act the same with the sound and what not. The watch face for me turns on and vibrates. I have an LG G3
Just had to reset again cause it stopped receiving notifications but showed connected.

When you lose connection with your 360, if you open the Wear app on your phone, does it still say connected? If so, try and reconnect with Android Wear to your 360, does it not reconnect? (This is happening to me)
Try reconnecting on Wear, your 360 may say that you've lost connection (Cloud with a slash icon). Try reconnecting again from the Wear app, if that doesn't work, try repairing your 360, that should work. (4/5 times it works for me)
Resetting does seem to work as well, I did it yesterday and went 16 hours without a disconnect, previous day was 7 in 6 hours. But this morning I walked away from my 360 with my phone and lost connection and it started disconnecting again.
Q: What ROM are you using with your One?
Just got mine today and it's disconnected twice on me already. Although it says its connected I don't get notifications. Hope we can get some insight into this.

How can I disable fingerprint lock?

What I want to do is disable the fingerprint lock when I'm in my car. I tried figuring it out with tasker, but I'm not sure how to do it. I have certain stuff happen when I connect to my car's bluetooth already. Anyone know how to do his?

Not to sure but might try checking out how the gear 2 connects with the note 4. Reason i say this is when I'm near the phone with my watch the phone just needs a swipe to enter but if I'm away from phone with watch the auto locks.
i know the connection is through BT so night be able to do the same thing with a car radio or gps that has BT.

My guess is it's something specific to the watch. I'll check it out though, thank you

Congratulations.
I have turned location off on the watch settings as I don't need it. Battery lasts into a fourth day at the moment. Most useful so I have installed is wear mini launcher. Between that and using NFC to start my watch I don't need to press the side button on the watch at all. I also use Facer to make my own watch faces.

Tap on watch screen it will light up itself. I'm curious about how to use NFC to start watch?
I hold the SW3 against the back of my HTC One. If the watch was off it starts up. If it was on it opens the Wear companion app on my phone and connects.
No matter what I do I can't get nfc to work with my n6
it works with my xperia zl

does it mean that your watch does not have location info at all or is it taken from your phone?

I dont have anything I use the watch GPS for so I toggled it off. All I can see it would be used for is phone-free run logging, and I dont do that. Thus I hope to avoid any random app firing up the gps and wasting my watch battery. I just use the phone's location because it is hardly ever more than 20ft from my watch.

Setting Do Not Disturb time

I thought Samsung would already have this baked in coming from a Pixel phone but I used to be able to set Do not Disturb for say 1 hour if I was in meeting and only wanted notifications off during a set amount of time. It looks like it's all or nothing on the Note 10 though. Is there a way to address this that I am missing?

Interesting thought. I have the Galaxy Watch and on swipe down, when you tap do not disturb it asks you how long... but it doesn't appear to be on the phone itself. So in my case the watch must turn it back of at the specified duration. I wonder what happens if the phone loses the Bluetooth connection then to the watch? Implementation was only thought through half-way?

It looks like it's been added to Android 10 now since I installed it so all good.
