I recently got on Internet that lollipop update is available for Sony Xperia Z phone. I have Sony xperia z C6603 phone. But I didn't got any software update in my update centre, I don't know why.... I really want to upgrade it to lollipop... I live in Maharashtra, India. I saw in another forum that a person from state Tamil Nadu got lollipop for his phone. Is my location the problem or any phone issue?

I wouldn't flash Single SIM firmware on Dual SIM device ...So G3121 is out of question.
Though I think G3112 on G3116 should have no side effects
IFF they have same partition layouts.
Afaik , the difference between these devices is only the basebands.
However sometimes Sony re arranges the partition layout for different devices.
I am curious on why you want to cross-flash firmwares tho

i don't want to do that if i were you, even i flashed xa1 dual (factory firmware) into xa1 dual (updated) (g3116), and fail, now the phone is dead, only red led no vibration, no boot, no recovery, and no sony center :crying:

i've got a Sony Xperia XA1 G3125 ( Maybe XA1 Ultra? ) i've download files to flash it with flashtools. and suddenly it stop flash ( It hang and the software close itself )
now it completely dead. only red light comes up if i put usb cable to PC

Has anyone already installed it ? If so, how and where can I find the packages as well as the installation mode, Xperia XA1 Plus is not certified Mirrorlink by Sony.

If you want to install MirrorLink, go here https://www.apkmirror.com/?post_type=app_release&searchtype=app&s=MirrorLink and install ALL THE THREE apps from Sony. You'll have MirrorLink fully working.
that such forum, I would like to know if there is a reliable procedure or tutorial to download from oreo to nougat safely and without brick for this model xperia G3223 with mediatek processor? since in the attempt it has remained brickeado doing the typical preceeding of dowgrade with flashtool!
