Thread access?

What has happened to the APP thread for winstart, I cannot access it. I get this message:
you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
Please Read: New members (those with fewer than 10 posts) are not permitted to post to development-related forums. The developer forums are intended for experienced users and developers to discuss ways to improve technical aspects related to ROMs and Software. While you may be an expert, we ask ALL users to avoid posting questions about using or installing ROMs and software in the Development Forums. To encourage this new Users can read but not post in these forums.
To ask Questions about developing your device, installing ROMs, software and themes you must go to the Q&A or General Forum.
Remember, your question has very likely been asked already, so please search before posting.

It's not deleted, it's just in a non-public forum, pending the outcome of a discussion between the Author and our admins.
I did not deal with the incident, so this is the only info I can find.

Note: If you are unsure where your new topic should go, then please post it in General.

[MOD]'s that are primarily theming related or simply adjust stock application or framework functionality or behavior belong in the themes and apps section rather than the development section.

Extra emphasis on rule #12
12. Using the work of others.
If you are developing something that is based on the work of another Member, you MUST first seek their permission, and you must give credit to the member whose work you used. If a dispute occurs about who developed / created a piece of work, first try to settle the matter by private message and NOT in open forum. If this fails then you may contact a moderator with clear evidence that the work was created by you.
Convincing evidence will result in copied work being removed. If there is no clear evidence you created the work then in the spirit of sharing all work will remain posted on the forums.
These rules apply to all software posted on XDA unless that software comes with a license that waives these rules.

Below is a format that should be used as an example of how a rom thread should look. It doesnt have to be exact. I suggest that you stay creative and use all the features in the advanced panel when creating a thread.
1. Name of rom, team, etc
2. Introduction
3. Changelog in code or php tags
4. What's included in the rom in the (apps, tweaks, scripts, addons, mods) in code of php tags
5. What works/what doesn't work in code or php tags
6. Credits (Users name-with link to (profile/github/or thread u got tweak from embedded), and what they did to help you)
7. Screenshots (2-10 different screenshots of different aspects of rom)
8. Kernel with either link to thread you got it from or github (if stock sense or cm please state that and that is enough)
9. Instructions on how to install the rom (also if special instruction for a2sd or beats audio...etc)
10. Do's and Don'ts of the rom
11. Questions & Answers section (I find this helpful to write out asked questions with solutions at the bottom of the op. I find that it cuts down on the question being asked a million times)
12. Finally the dl link
13. Additional add-ons (this can go into first post or reserved posts after)

I find the embedded link looks and feels better throughout the op if possible.
All sections should have a header with enlarged text and spaced out so people can read it easily.
I am hoping that this helps to make this section a little cleaner and easier. enjoy
The way I look at this is that it takes US weeks/days/hours to make these roms....we can take the time out to make sure that the op looks professional and clean
Also Make sure the op is fully ready before posting. I know we all get excited to release a rom but stating that half the stuff will be updated as time permits just shows that you are lazy and in a hurry which doesnt look good cause if thats the case then how does your rom run....
No posting a a rom thread without a DL link either
Thank you to Papa Smurf151 for the basis of this post.

You are not able to create a forum on XDA, even I'm unable to do so. Only administrators can do that. However, you're able to create a thread in an existing forum.
Before you do that I suggest to study this guide

GSI builds on Lenovo M7 (TB 7305f)

Hello fellow M7 tab users,
I had recently come across various GSI that can be flashed and run directly. these may or may not work.
Link: https://github.com/phhusson/treble_experimentations/wiki/Generic-System-Image-(GSI)-list
flashing method: https://www.xda-developers.com/flas...48.128019215.1650719838-1694315489.1650719838
M7 does support treble and has a only configuration. although it is not in the list of supported devices.
you take the help of this video too:
currently there is twrp available for M7
{Mod edit: Link removed. Oswald Boelcke, Senior Moderator}
and rooting is also possible using Magisk {Mod edit: Link removed. Oswald Boelcke, Senior Moderator}
magisk link: {Mod edit: Link removed. Oswald Boelcke, Senior Moderator}
...
Could some experienced people look into it, the source tree for the M7 kernel is also available in lenovo site: https://support.lenovo.com/in/en/solutions/ht511330-lenovo-open-source-portal. I have no experience in porting or making custom ROMs, the GSI method made sense so I tried flashing few of the GSIs of android Pie but it was of no good, boot loops and phone stuck at logo. Could many of us come together and check each and every one of GSI through trial and error to confirm that M7 doesnt support this method.
if a GSI build gets stuck in bootloop or stuck at logo then the power + vol down keys make the phone exit the situation momentaryly, it might start looping/ getting stuck at the logo again so that time you can take it to fast boot by going to recovery by pressing all three buttons together then booting to the bootloader.
when it is at the fastboot you can recover your phone again by using lenovo rescue and smart assistant(RSA) . when the RSA software tells you to press vol + and attach usb jack at same time , you can exit the fastboot by pressing the power button. for some time and when screen goes off quickly follow the press the vol down key and plug in the usb cable and wait till the software makes the device stock again.
The twrp will be lost when RSA is used so again the steps in the first post need to be performed. twrp backups do not recover the phone due to some reason so I think this is the only way to recover stock android and then try the next GSI.

This is a site of developers, i.e. the sort of people who create such software. When you cheat a software developer, you cheat us as a community.
