Lineage 16 doesn't boot to system after last update 27-04 - LineageOS Questions & Answers

Need some help
Today I check if there was new updates for my system lineage 16. There was two new updates, on of 26-04 and another of 27-04. After choosing to update lineage 16 to the last version of 27-04 using the updater in settings, the system doesn't boot anymore and goes always to recovery twrp 3.2.3.
Tried to wipe dalvick and cache but with no effect.
Unfortunately I didn't do a backup before updating.
I noticed when the system was updating it simply rebooted itself without showing any information of update installed successfully.
What can I do to go back to previous version? Is there a way to reverse the update without installing again the ROM and lose my data and installed apps?
Before the update everything was working well.
The device is a Pocophone.
Thanks.

Honor 6 failed to update, twrp can't install new zip

Hello everyone,
I just bought a Honor 6 H60-L04. Then I wanted to update to Marshmallow. The updates to the versions in between went well, but the final update B 803 sucked. So I got in bootloop.
Then I unlocked the bootloader to install twrp. There I did a factory reset and data wipes. But when I want to install a new system, no matter which, there is always the notification that NO MD5 FILE WAS FOUND and second ERROR FLASHING ZIP.
Hopefully there is anyone who can help me with this problem and how to fix it.
It worked somehow with the full marshmallow version, but not with twrp rather with fastboot.
There I flashed the system, cust, userdata, boot, recovery and cache.

OxygenOs update 3.2.4 notifies device will be unrooted

My device OP 3 is rooted with twrp and I have received update for oxygen 3.2.4 but one note appears saying that - Root detected downloading full upgrade device will be unrooted
If I upgrade and the device unroots will I loose all the data such as apps msgs pictures videos app data contacts etc
No you won't lose any data. TWRP and xposed and root will all be gone though
Will the super su wipe out?
And why is 1.3gb heavy whereas others have got size of 26mb?
The incremental update (Small size) fails if your device is rooted, they check for changes in the /system folder. So you need the full zip (1.x GB). You have to reflash TWRP and su again. (And the other zip stuff like xposed). But no data of your apps will be removed.
U can't flash incremental updates via twrp, download the full zip and just dirty flash, wipe caches, I also wipe system for myself but I don't think u have to
Oxygen OSS 3.2.4
As 3.2.3 came out i flashed the normal OTA update with FlashFire from Play store, my twrp was gone but the update worked
After installing the Full Update on 3.2.4 none of my data was gone but i instandly reflashed supersu and xposed + wiped dalvik and cache

[Samsung S5 klte] Updating LOS results in boot loop

Hi,
I got a problem updating my Galaxy S5 (klte):
I'm running 14.1 2017-05-17_nightly (Android 7.1.1), which I want to update with TWRP 3.1.0-1
After update I get stuck during boot. I hangs showing the LOS logo for hours. The only solution is to du a fresh reinstall. Recovering previously backed-up app data from Titanium works well, but recovering system settings results in a bootloop again, it happens no matter if I wipe Cache/Dalvik or not.
I tried flashing another nightly (which worked, as a clean install, not as an update) and updating from there on. But same results. Any update from any version gets me stuck. Only thing that works is a complete wipe and reinstall.
I also flashed a stock ROM with Odin, reinstalled TWRP, flashed LOS, but still updating results in a bootloop.
Having to go through a clean reinstall for every update is really time consuming.
Any idea what is going on here?

Updating ROM with Latest Nightly Lineage or Other ROM & TWRP Backup/Restore

Hi guys,
How do I properly update Lineage OS nightly updates or any other ROM for that matter. The update through the "About Phone" doesn't seem to work. It gets to about 70% then tells me the download failed. I tried many times. I did some research around the forums and everyone seems to say do it manually by downloading the ROM and flashing it via TWRP overtop. So I did that but when it rebooted it lost all my user and app data and I had to reapply all my settings manually.
I also did a twrp backup before I did the previous install. I tried to do a restore and same thing. It seemed to have lost all my app data and user data. Had to redo everything manually so instead i just installed the latest nightly and redid everything manually. Did I misunderstand how to update the ROM?
Thanks!

Just download the full rom and follow the procedure.
1. Take a backup of System, Data and Boot.
2. Wipe System
3. Flash in this order: ROM > Gapps (Yes you do need to do this)> Custom kernel (optional) > SuperSU/Magisk (optional) > any other mods.
4. Now wipe Cache and Dalvik and reboot!
5. First boot might take a while. If it loops just try it again or restore the backup and create a new topic!
Ah thank you! I was selecting the wrong options. This worked
