Hey I won a case on TWitter but the official Twitter account for Armadillotek stopped replying to me and so I don't know how to receive it.

Should've probably mentioned that this is for US residents only. I would gladly share my feedback and such in all honesty. Still, it's nice of them to do this though. I hope this event would help them greatly.

We are sorry for the inconvenience!
The program is for U.S. only, and we only have cases for s10 and s10 plus, not 10 e

I have filled the form out, and ordered on in black.

I would do it but those cases are massive...I know, different strokes

I was good with everything until the social media stuff. They're buying followers. No respect for that.

I sent my request, it didn't ask for shipping address though.

They don't directly ship it to you they send you the money for the case via PayPal and have you order it from Amazon. I got picked last week and got mine over the weekend. So far I'm very pleased. It's not overly bulky and it allows for samsung pay.

Nope. Just saw it on here and went to the website to try to get it. I can say they're decent cases though had mine since the weekend.

Its only for u.s

Got mine yesterday and so far I'm impressed. Good protection for the edges which always is a concern of mine. Edge widgets will require a bit of adjustment to work.
Only complaint is if you are going after the Defender or Unicorn Beetle Pro is you need a belt clip.

just got mine really happy with it have already dropped my phone and case protected it perfectly can notice i dropped it! the kickstand comes in very handy also!!

Got approved for my case today, they paid me the 18.99 via paypal before i bought the case. i paid the extra $2 because i wanted a color one.
Said to just leave review on Amazon, and XDA.
So case will be here tomorrow. I will use it through the weekend and have a review ready on Monday.

Eff these people. They want me to buy the case FIRST off of Amazon. Not what the thread says. Here is their email to me.
If you agree to make a review at XDA with photos and link to my amazon page,
then you are in!
A lots of people said yet, but does not want to fulfill the words
make sure you can do it, before we start it
Also, so many people just took my money, without buying it. the ignored my email
So here is why I am going to do, you need to go to amazon purchase it first, send me the order-id, then i will send the money via paypal within 24 business hours.
Don't worry, your money is 100% safe, as If we dont give you the fund, you can return it back to Amazon, and give us 1 star review.
No seller will take money over reviews.

I just got the same email, and bought the case...not that big of a deal especially when you'll get a refund for it later. Plus I used the 40% off code and only paid $13 for the blue case. Not that big a deal for a "free" case, IMO.

They sent me the PayPal funds. I'm receiving it tomorrow, I hope it's good cause I'm going to be honest as sh** after i use it for a week.

He contacted me and sent me the money through paypal. I guess i can understand where he's coming from. A lot of people got the money and didn't order the case. I got the case today. I'll try it out and leave reviews after i've had a chance to make up my mind. I do think he's going a little overboard asking for multiple reviews and posts with pictures AND videos on Amazon, Facebook, Instagram etc. That;s a lot of work for a case you weren't really looking at to start with. I'll leave reviews and a pic or two but i doubt i'll leave videos unless it blows my mind..

"We do not have any information if a case will be made at this time for that device, but it is something that has been requested. I have submitted a product suggestion on your behalf, and recommend keeping an eye on our website, as it will have the most up to date information on any new releases that we may have."
Wow thanks maybe I should call and email as well. Hopefully they will get the hint and make it happen.

Yeah def. to anyone who reads this thread head over to otterbox.com and send em an email saying you'd like a case made. They make high quality stuff.
Never had an Otterbox case but i know they are thick. And pricey.
Just replied. And as pricy as they are look up on youtube. Otterbox car and iphone. A friggin car runs over an iFail and the phone stays in tact. Its super restive from what i heard and also i hear the build quality is AMAZING! As thick as it is its worth it. Plus OG smartphones are thick arent they? Not only will it pretect it itll make your anerexic vibrant into a smartphone
Yee!
This is what they replied: Thank you for contacting Otter Products, LLC Customer Support.
Your request for assistance has been received. Case #157586 - "Samsung Galaxy S" has been created for you. A member of our customer care team will respond to your case as soon as possible.
Just sent them the following email,
Hi, I am emailing you in regards to the International and US carrier specific versions of the Samsung Galaxy S series phones. I'm just asserting my interest in purchasing a Defender series case if you were to launch a line for the Galaxy S.
In my opinion, I believe the Galaxy S series phones to be a good investment for a high end phone case manufacturer such as yourself. My opinion is due largely to the sheer number of phones that have been sold already; since launch totaling over 1 million units. Also, I've found a large percentage of the international variant of the Galaxy S were bought outright with out carrier subsidy, and with prices ranging from $599-800 on average I would imagine that most of those people would want to amply protect their investment with a ruggedized case such as yours. Another advantage to the series is that the International and US Carrier specific versions of the phone are very similar in form factor, thus minimal retooling and design changes would be necessary to make the case work with two of the US carriers, and with the International version to a certain degree. In actuality, the US specific versions such as T-Mobile Vibrant and Verizon Fascinate are practically identical externally and the capacitive touch buttons on the face of the phone will, I trust, lend themselves well to the simple and robust protection that the Defender series can provide. Honestly, after seeing the success you've had with the design of the hardware "Home" button on the face of the iPhone cases, I could see something very similar as easy to implement for the international version of the Galaxy S.
Although I believe that the other two US carrier specific versions of the phone would be less profitable to design a Defender series case due to their irregular shape and slider design respectively, I think they would still lend themselves well to the commuter, impact, or tandem line of cases.
Sorry if I seem to ramble on, but I'm very excited to see an offering from Otterbox for the Galaxy S line, and I see it as a great opportunity for you the manufacturer and I the consumer to be mutually benefited by a superbly designed and executed case offering from your company.
Thank you for your consideration and for giving me the outlet to express my desire to protect my beloved Samsung Vibrant with your case offerings. Thanks again.

This is can be a great case to protect our $199-$599 investments,
and we're the ones that have to convince Otterbox that this case needs to be made!
So bump it up to the top!

Do you have any plans on making a commuter case for the samsung vibrant? Thanks.
Got an email back from them today:
We are currently working on a case for this device. I recommend keeping an eye on our website or Facebook page where we will be sure to post more information as soon as it is available. Generally it takes approximately 2-4 months for a case to developed once a device is released to the public. Customer Service finds out about new case releases the moment they are posted to the website
I was just checking their website yesterday to see if they've come out yet. They are at the end of their "development" time. Didn't take long for the bastards to come out with a Captivate case.

NEW: Awsome phone case that converts into a car dock!

Thought you guys might find this interesting...
Its a phone case that transforms into a car dock, adjustable camera mount, movie stand, credit card holder, Sd card holder & SUPPORTS the extended battery.]

That looks like a really cool case.
Too bad their website isn't finished.
I'm buying one as soon as it comes out! The Facebook profile states they will start pre-order sales in just a few days! The video plus the pictures on Facebook are great information.

That's where I got the link to this project. I personally asked the creator if she'd sell me one, she wouldn't take my money though. She eventually got banned from that site because the admin wants people to pay to post links about their products. The day she left she asked them to delete the thread because she couldn't afford it and sent me and a few other members links to a face book page. Instead of simply deleting the thread they banned her! I think she said they wanted $500 just to allow her to keep her post, now that is a scam!
For a while I thought it was vaporware because there was no updates on the face book page but now there is new photos every day and she says she'll be able to do pre-orders soon.
I think if it was a scam and if it didn't work there wouldn't be so much proof that the concept works, also why didn't she take my money?
The reason why I started coming on here to XDA developers is because android forums is run by greedy businessmen.
I forgot to add this before, here's the facebook page where I got the photos.

Wow this thread died!
Man...that sucks. First they say then are taking pre-orders on the 7th and then, you go to the website and they say they are looking for $9,300 in pledges before the project officially begins. They are only at 3% of the goal. Sounds like bogus to me even if it is legit.

Dude, they just started a day ago, I was a bit worried myself but the site they are using doesn't take ANY money unless the project reaches its funding goal. They could have used Amazon or some other site that takes money immediately when you pre-order. This is the same thing as pre-ordering, its just that they have a minimum pre-order amount to make the case.
I've been watching their thread on this site...
droidxforums.com/forum/droid-x-accessories/4609-droid-x-polyurethane-hard-case-images.html
They have a alot of "fans" on that site, I've seen no complaints about scams or anything there.
I think its awful when some people spread rumors that this is a scam with no proof to back it up, I have a case but I'm going to contribute to this project.
The Jawcase concept and the Kickstarter concept are good. It's hard for small people to get started with manufacturing a new idea. So I applaud this gal for sticking with it, and using the Kickstarter method to help get their business off the ground.
They are using Amazon Payments for the pledge system. Nothing will be charged unless they reach their goal of 9300. I pledged 25 bucks to essentially pre-order the case. It's a great concept, and hopefully others will follow suite.

And? Why do I get a funny feeling that some of these posts here are spam posts for advertisment for this case? This is NOT an iJunk forum and for $100, I much rather buy from a reputable well known company like Body Glove and Otterbox. No offense, great concept, I would use it all the time if it was available for sale, IF it's ever available for sale. My two cents.

I dont mean to sound defensive, but I have strong thoughts on this.
Don't be so pessimistic of start ups everyone has to start somewhere, companies like the creator of the solid wood dock, the game gripper, dockem, ezestand, element case, and most of the other aluminum cases for the iphone are/were small start ups.
Our case is genuinely beneficial to most droid x owners, it saves you a lot of money on your phone accessories, and is much more practical to your every day life.
We're currently sending our case out for previews, the guy I sent the case out today has a car dock so he should be able to tell us the pro's and con's of our version.

It's remarkable that so many people in the droid community have this distrust of start up's. What's remarkable is that a startup company having such thin skin. If you put a product out there you better be ready for harsh criticism. Embrace it. It's the only way you can make a better product. You don't put something out and then expect it's perfect without receiving a lot of feedback-be it good or bad. So be happy anyone is making comments on your product.

Right now we only have a cnc iphone version, this is because the shape of the iphone is much easier and cheaper to make. The droid X version would cost over $100 per case.
I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade. Start-up ideas...great. That's part of the backbone of America.
But something like this perhaps would have had a LOT better chance getting off the ground if done 1-1/2 years ago. That's my thought. I've occasionally stopped by to check the progress on the funds to be raised, (as a post-graduate in business management some time back and just saying that to give some perspective) I don't see that the funding goal is going to be reached. And by the time it might ever happen, I'll probably have moved on something else (i.e. HTC) as I'm getting too annoyed with Motorola's locked bootloader stance.
On the plus side, it does sound like the Droid X2 will have the same dimensions. Or so some folks hope in order to be able to use the same accessories and such.
If you believe in this product, go for it, as long as you understand its late in the game (my thinking) with respect to the DX and hopefully would work on the DX 2. There are always going to be folks ready to 'dis anything. I still chuckle when I think about the guy who demanded a refund from JRummy16 for the Liberty Toolbox ... available for FREE on the Market. The way some folks whine about all that the devs do and offer them for free, just imagine (nah...you don't have to even imagine it) what happens when you mention $$ for it. ;-)

np. feel free to hit the "thanks" button
theaccessoryking.com has it for preorder $20.00, pretty sketchy but it gives us an expected release date: 9/29
Out of all the cases I've had for my Inspire, the Case Mate Tough was by far the best. Can't wait for their e4gt cases.
The TPU will tide me over for now, it's actually a pretty good case but I feel safer with a hard shell. Probably going to return my Samsung kickstand one to Sprint.. it's not a very good design.
Transmission sent from a Galaxy S II.
Is there anywhere we can give an 'un-thank' up in here?
FWIW (its probably a standard email)
I received this email after inquiring about the case. I didn't particularly like the "or if" part.
-------------------------------------
Thank you for contacting case-mate and your interest in our products. At this time, we do not have any specific information on when, or if, the SPRINT Samsung Epic 4g Touch barely there case might become available. Our product development team is always working on new products. I will gladly share your feedback/request with them!
At case-mate we thrive on customer feedback! We offer several ways for you to interact with case-mate as little or as much as you would like. You can share feedback or product comments directly with the development team at: http://feedback.case-mate.com. For real time updates on product releases and promotions you can follow us on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/casemate, or on Twitter at http://twitter.com/casemate. I emailed support to ask with a link to the item listed. Like I said in another thread, it looks like the kind of site that sells to 3rd party vendors, and since the packaging says Sprint branded, I suspect this is meant for non-corporate Sprint stores.
Obviously no real confirmation, but I will post any kind of non-generic answer I get.

i figured the same, but if thats the case (haha). maybe we can pool a couple orders together and save a buck or two? that is, if they do bulk orders
UPDATE: i registrared and their expected availability is 10/04, most likely that will be when case-mate decides to put it up on their site and it starts showing up everywhere. that $20 pre order is starting to look pretty tasty
How much wait and thickness will this case add?
Love the idea of the case. But the lightness of this phone is one of its biggest pluses.
Really, really like the idea of this case though.

it'll add about 1.5 oz (not sure how noticeable that may be, but it should bump it up to the weight of the MoPho) its stream-lined fitted, snaps on snug and is pretty durable for its thinness. i wanna say its thinner than the tpu case, not sure tho. but i know for a fact its one of the thinnest cases you can get hence the name "barely there"
Some people claim this case interferes with GPS reception. =/

Are you saying theaccessoryking.com is a sketchy seller? Or that you aren't a fan of preorder in general? Or sketchy putting money down sight unseen?
I am fine getting a little extra discount in exchange for patience...
...I'm not fine sending a sketchy seller my money.
Is theaccessoryking a reputable seller?
just got a response from Case Mate indicating that the vendor from the link is legit and that the product is real (ie model number, device, etc.) they did not indicate anything on the date however...
Just preordered my casemate tough from theaccessoryking.com for $21. I love the barely there cases but certainly not in silver, which is the only option available on that site.

What i found sketchy was that it didn't exist anywhere else, not even Case-Mate verified it. I'm fine with preorder (i preordered my ET4g) its just that i did a preorder on a case once before (not from accessoryking) and it never came into stock. But i hope this doesnt scare anyone bc they didnt take my money or anything they just messed with me and gave me false hope >.>
especially after diaa08 confirmed that its live (at least i believe s/he was referring to this link) i would jump on it, its quite the deal

the complaints i see are for the HTC Inspire/Desire and it wasnt just for the barely there, they had it for ALL cases but if there is a problem, from the threads i read you can complain to Case-Mate and they'll send you complimentary cases you could try or just sell and buy another case

Tudia Cases Massdrop group purchase discount.

I'm trying to get a group discount for tudia cases for the One.
There is a site called Massdrop which contacts the Manufacturer (Tudia) to get a discount for a group.
All you need to do is vote here: https://www.massdrop.com/vote/smartphone-case
After we get 200 votes we will get a discounted price from tudia.
Voting does NOT commit you to buy anything.
*massdrop usually ships internationally very cheaply which makes the deal even better.
Have a nice weekend and thanks for the support.:good:

Voted! Said 152/200.....now I just need an invite for the 1+1 :crying:
I voted for the metal/slate option, which is one of the two versions of the Cygen case that Amazon never offers with Prime.
Notice that the metal/slate case is the most requested version of the Cygen on Massdrop. Requests for that model outnumber others by almost two thirds.
The black/black case is the other version of the Cygen that has to be ordered directly.
i2k13: Have you thought about promoting that Massdrop page on other forums?
Possible places to promote it: The OnePlus Accessories Forum and Android Central's OnePlus One Forum (with *Accessories* as the tag).
I've posted on oneplus forum, if you have any other forums you know you are free to copy-paste this thread
We are @ 187/200 ATM
DONE!!!
Only Oneplus to go for 200 !!

WTH, I went there to vote (I did) but I found out the target had already been reached. Cool!
Any update on this now that we are at 200??

Seeking Feedback on iVoler Oneplus Two Tempered Glass Screen Protector

Hi future Oneplus Two Users,
We are seeking honest and comprehensive feedback from real users of our tempered glass for OPT. We are turning to XDA because members of XDA are more knowledgeable than the average user, and we know from reading your posts that you know how to scrutinize products and share your opinions.
For those interested in helping us out, we will provide a product sample of one of our Oneplus Two glass screen protector. There are only a limited number of samples that have been allotted to this program. If you are interested, please post a reply and send me a PM. Participants will be selected on a first come, first serve basis, dependent on meeting requirements mentioned below and once supplies run out, this offer will be closed.
If you are selected, you will be sent a tempered glass for your evaluation. This is not a give-away or promotion. We need people who are willing to follow through. We would like to get your initial feedback (first impressions)within 1 weeks of receipt and a follow up evaluation 2 to 3 weeks later would be greatly appreciated. If you are not willing to take the time to give us a thorough evaluation, please do not apply.
We are seeking members that meet the following requirements:
• Will be owning Oneplus Two
• Reside in the continental U.S.
• Have at least 10 posts
• Have at least 5 thanks
• Have been a member for at least 1 year
This glass screen protector is currently available on Amazon. You may view the link below:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B012RNEB4I
Your feedback will be shared with our product designers and our factory technicians to make improvements to future designs in each of our product lines.
Nice to see companies reaching out to XDA members for help
I already have the OnePlus 2, more than 10 posts, at least 5 thanks, and I've been a member for more than a year. An active one, but not quite the kind that writes a lot but the one who helps test things and such. The only requirement I don't meet is residing in the U.S. (I reside in Spain). Maybe if you don't have enough testers... You could make an exception? I'm always glad to help!
Also when I've been looking for a good tempered glass protector and was between yours and one from another company. I just saw this post and it would be awesome to test and keep it!
Hi iVoler team! I just placed my order for the OnePlus Two and hope to be receiving the phone shortly. I fit all the other criterias and I'd love to test out your tempered glass and provide feed back .
pm'd
pm'ed you
I would like to try the product. Thanks!
I will review it!
