Need Stock Boot Image - Honor 8 Pro Questions & Answers

I tried to root the honor 8 pro using the magisk root method and it ended up in a bootloop, might be due the patch1 thingy. I'm trying to flash magisk through the boot.img now and I can't seem to find it anywhere. I have the stock firmware and when I open update.app using huawei extractor the boot.img doesn't seem to exist. Can someone upload their stock boot.img here for me please?

Not able to find Z2 Plus' "Stock Recovery" "Boot Image"

Hi Everyone
I have a Z2 Plus 64GB India released model running Android 7.0 and March 2017 security patch. I have unlocked bootloader, installed twrp and also rooted using su zip file.
I have made the necessary tweaks that I wanted to do with the device and want 1) unroot (I know how to do it. Not an issue), 2) Replace twrp with stock recovery. But even after searching around in different forums, I am not able to find the stock recovery image anywhere. Can anyone help me with where to find the recovery file?
Also is it enough to only replace the stock recovery or boot image also requires any re-flashing? I am not sure about this.
Appreciate your help.
Recovery
Follow this link and download
I've extracted the recovery img and uploaded it to the drive drive.google. com/file/d/0ByBSgAwMMburNS12VEx5VVZ0b3c/view?usp=sharing
If any download prblm inbox me

XA1 Ultra imposible to Root

Hello Everyone
I have a Xa1 Ultra phone (G3223)
After 3 full days of searching how can i root my phone i have come to the conclusión that is not posible because of these failed attemps :
1.- My firmware stock versión (working property) its 48.1.A.2.109 i couldnt find any custom kernel nor recovery that Works with this firmware and because of that i cant flash it, so i cant root it.
2.- I could not find and older versión of firmware that had a custom boot.img or recovery.img so i could not downgrade my phone to root it.
3.-There's only 1 post i found on this forum that had a working custom kernel and recovery to be able to root a xa1 ultra Xperia, but his stock firmware versión was 48.1.A.2.50 so as it does not matched mine any attemp to flash it got me a bootloop
So in resume is there anyway i could rot my xa1 ultra phone or all of my assumptions on my researchs are correct?
my stock firmware is G3223_48.1.A.2.109 is there any way i can root it?
Thanks in advance for any information about the subject
The furthest I got is to the conclusion that we need to downgrade to firmware G3223_48.1.A.2.101, there's a working magisk install for that.
I can't get the firmware anywhere and this forum is basically a cemetery.

Haven't tested but I found this >> G3223_48.1.A.2.101 https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-oCN7am9nL5TiDQs5uUdLGtW2zEoSVpq/view
It was listed midway through this website >>> https://www.martview-forum.com/thre...-version-firmware-ftf-lock-remove-file.23366/
The .101 downgrade went fine with flashtool, but the TWRP package I found on the janjan thread just boot loops. In fact, anything that I try ends in bootlooping, even fastboot booting an extracted kernel without modification (extracted with either AIK or flashtool).
I think this phone will be impossible to root unless we find the original 48.1.A.2.50 software.

After flashing TWRP did you immediately factory reset? [Flash TWRP, reboot into TWRP, Wipe]. With other devices I've had issues occur if I did not remember to.

Honor 7X BND-L21C185 Softbricked

Hi folks
I have been looking around the internet for 3 days now and still aren't able to get my phone back. I have bootloader and FRP unlocked and installed TWRP and they work fine. I was messing around and i Wiped all partitions including System. My phone model is BND-L21C185 and i followed an unbrick guide using Huawei multi-tool and downloaded FullOTA Firmware from Teammt site and extracted it with Huawei update extractor but i'm missing Boot.img and Recovery.img
Is there any other way to restore my phone to stock? Given that i have TWRP and Bootloader unlocked there must be something i can do..
Cheers
Follow up
Nevermind. Fixed it by downloading the older BND-L21C185B141 version and flashing that.
Hi, which twrp were you using? Was it for emui 9 or 8?

Oppo F17 Pro rooting / unlocking

Can we root Oppo F17 Pro which comes with color OS 7 bootloader locked and fastboot disabled. SP Flash tool is not reading the scatter file that was extracted from stock rom (.ozip file), so I could flash the patched boot.img.
Anyone any luck rooting Oppo F17 Pro.
You can use TWRP and super user.
Copy SU on Oppo mobile.
Start mobile in recovery mode.
Use TWRP to install SU on mobile.
Restart mobile.
I can go to recovery mode but Fastboot is disabled by Oppo and boot loader as well locked. Is there any other way I can flash TWRP on the device without Fastboot? I am very new to this stuff trying to learn more
1. Is it possible to modify the original "StockRom" file (ozip) by replacing the patch_boot.img file which was able to generate using Magisk. It says it keep the signature unchanged so hoping there won't be signature issue.
2. I was able to extract the Stock Rom (ozip file) using python script but the scatter file that I found in that is not working in SP Flash Tool so not able to flash the boot.img. Is there a way we can find the working scatter file? I tried using MTK Droid tool to generate scatter but it doesn’t recognize the device.
3. Other option that I was thinking was after replacing the original boot.img with patched boot.img in extracted zip file is there a way we can convert it back to ozip file and the using the stock recovery we can flash the rom.
On the latest fw enable developer options and there you will see "unlock bootloader" option.

Tried to root

Model BE2013
Build 10.5.2.BE83BA
Tried unsuccessfully to root numerous time, getting stuck on Fastboot Mode.
Then having to restore with MSMdownloadtool.
I have unsuccessfully tried using python to extract the boot.img, so I used the OTA boot.img.
Isn't the OTA boot.img the same as the python extracted version?
Is it easier for me to update to the latest OS 11 then root?
Thanks in advance

Get the OTA download from oneplus website, put the zip on your phones root (Outside the downloads folder) upgrade your phone to OxygenOS 11.0.3 and then extract the boot.img from the OTA and patch it with magisk, rename the newly patched magisk boot img to "boot.img" and flash boot with it.
Worked for me.
Edit: Your phone is most likely on OxygenOS 11.0.2 thus making the 11.0.3 boot.img incompatible.
