You need to create 2 partitions in sd card or use any custom rom like resurrection remix and erase the sd card the you can be able to move apps

SD card issues

Hello guys.
My girlfriend's Wildfire S have some issues with the sd card as when I want to install updates or new apps it says that theres not enough space. Which is true on phone memory but it doesn't let me move apps and also impossible to install new apps directly on sd card.

htc phones dont allow installing apps onto the sd card. you can partially move apps, but they are still installed on the system as well. you need to either delete some apps or look into a mod like link2sd. also you are in the wrong forum. this is for the wildfire buzz, you have a wildfire S marvel.

SD Card error after rooting!

I own an H818P which came with MM 6.0 installed, I downgraded it to 5.1 and then rooted it. The root process is successful but my SD Card has stopped working on this phone. When I insert the card, it shows that "SD Card is blank or has unsupported file system" but the card is working fine on my PC or other phones.

Plug the sd card into your pc and backup anything that is important then use an sd card formatter and format to fat32 , it worked perfectly for me.
If i have helped then please leave a thumbs up.

Why is Adoptable Storage Taking up So Much System Storage?

I have recently switched to Adoptable Storage using 128GB SD Card. However upon successfully completing the steps, I found that not much space is available. Most of them is taken away by System Storage as shown in the image below in "About Phone > Storage".

However, looking at the File Manager all seems perfectly fine as shown below
My Xiaomi Renot 5 is not rooted nor bootloader unlocked and I have no plan in doing so.
The ROM being used is still the latest Official MIUI 11.
I sincerely hope that anyone has a solution for this problem and I don't really want to resort to Factory Rest if possible.
Thank you in advance

[Question/Help] Phone storage only shows half capacity in PC in backup

I got a Oneplus 5t with 64gb of storage with only 500mb left.
I backed it up with an adb command: adb pull sdcard
However, it only showed half of the storage
which is around 32gb in the backup folder and file explorer.
The used capacity shown in the phone is 63.5gb which is almost doubles
I afraid that the backup is not including everything
I wonder whether this is a issue related to difference in counting bytes on windows and android.
Please note this oneplus's bootloader is unlocked but isn't root. I lost all my data after it as my backup didn't work.

SD formated as internal but can't install apps

Hello, so I followed this guide and put new 64GB MicroSD card into phone, formatted is as internal storage, moved system onto it and unfortunately it doesn't seem to work as intended - free space is still few hundred MBs as it was before and I cannot install some bigger game because it shows there is not enough space :-\
It's MIUI 11.0.2

it shows system storage is 53.49GB, but some OS parts think it's not free. I can connect it to PC and I see there is almost 10GB in DCIM\Camera and this works fine in the gallery app.
