Are there any Pixel 3 XL skin cutout templates out there? - Google Pixel 3 Accessories

I did the mistake of ordering from slickwraps last week and despite ordering with 2 day shipping it will not arrive in time for a birthday gift. I do have a cricut cutting machine and some 3m vinyl wrap that I can cut. Or if anyone has any instruction on how I can design the most precise and accurate template, I can make one and post it on here if successful.

Maybe not exactly what you're looking for but I've come across this in the past: https://vecras.com/products/google-pixel-3-xl-vinyl-skin-cut-file-template-2018
Haven't tried any yet but if you see yourself making a lot of skins in the future, it might pay itself off.

I saw those but that price point is STEEP. It would be good for a reseller but I'm just making the one skin as a gift. Time to experiment with my flatbed scanner.

[VIDEO] Droid X Argyle TPU Case Review

I made a video review this morning for the Droid X Argyle TPU Cases. I used a Droid 2 to record it, so the video quality isn't quite professional quality
For some reason on all the videos I've made on the Droid 2, the first 2-3 seconds have a high pitch whine in the audio. Anyone else had that problem?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lv3ntrp1F9c
i just ordered this from ebay for about $3 shipped. sure it's from hong kong, but my droid x won't be shipping til at least the 3rd so i can wait.

Yes you can get them cheaper if your willing to wait a few weeks, but if you already have your phone that could be a costly mistake, as who knows how many times you might drop it the cheapest US seller I could find was selling them for $7.95 shipped.
i'll agree with that. get selling!
also since you do have them, couple of questions. are they a soft material like those silicone cases? do they have a rubberized finish so that they don't slide much?

They are softer then a crystal poly carb case, but harder then the rubber/silicone case. These have a smooth finish, so they don't grip like the silicone cases do -- which personally i like, since its easier to take out of my pocket. but others might like more grip. the main advantages i see to TPU over silicone is they don't sag like the silicone ones do, they don't pick up lint, and they are easy to clean.

Glad to hear it! I love my TPU case. The design is so simple compared to cases I've used in the past (Speck CandyShell, SwitchEasy Capsule Rebel, etc). Seems to provide almost as much protection with 1/2 the bulk! Considering how big these phones are, slim cases are a must in my opinion.
yeah! i just got mine in!! i am very pleased with the cases! they have a nice grip but smooth enough to slide in and out of my jeans/dress pant pockets with NO LINT! thanks for the extremely fast shipping!
i have some pics of my new droid x w/case
awesome! 2 satisfied customers
Which do you like better, the clear or the smoke? I seem to be selling considerably more of the smoke then any other color. Not much demand for Red or Orange. Maybe come Halloween the Orange will be selling like hotcakes!
haha!! i am leaning toward the smoke! it's a nice dark color that matches the droid very nicely! and the argyle print is subtle on the smoke. I do like the clear though! its a nice change of pace. I can understand the low demand for orange haha. its a bold color! now all we need are some bold people!
I would totally buy an orange one if Verizon lets me upgrade (Clemson Tiger fan). My contract isn't up until next summer, but I got an early upgrade offer in the mail today on any smartphone. It's not showing up online, so I'll have to call tomorrow and find out if I'm really going to be eligible. The fine print on the offer says I must be 180 days into a contract, which I am. Will let you know how it goes!

I was thinking of marketing some of the colors to different sports fans earlier today. i put up an eBay listing with the word "vikings" in the title for the purple case. I live in WI so I should be able to sell some Red to the Badger fans! good luck with early upgrade. sprint lets me upgrade every year since I'm a preferred customer (whatever that means). thats pretty awesome if you can upgrade after only 180 days! do you have multiple lines on your account or something?

We have four lines on our account. Three of the four lines were listed on the package as eligible, as long as they are upgraded by August 31st. I have never received an offer of this sort before the X.
well that would certainly make you a "preferred customer" in my book! i wonder if they are worried about people jumping ship for the iphone 4, and are offering early upgrades? although you'd have to be a fool to leave verizon and their droid x for at&t and the iphone in my opinion!
still haven't gotten mine. phone should be in monday. perhaps case will be in then too lol. if not then i may just have to order for you. need a second case anyway for my car mount.
Wow, my new shipment arrived super fast. Shipped from Honk Kong at 11:00pm at night 8/3 and is scheduled for delivery this morning 8/5! Man DHL is impressive. Apparently they clear packages through customs in the air, logistics at its finest!
So smoke is back in stock... or will be in the next hour.
Are these the same cases as DCMUGEN? If they are will you be carrying the screen protectors too? I had already ordered my case before I saw this post but if you are going to carry the screen protectors I will order them from you.

I've been considering ordering screen protectors and selling them as package deal, but i haven't yet. No, these are not the same as the DCMugen cases, those have 1 large cutout on the back, which many people have complained about (I get people emailing asking to verify that mine don't have one large cutout). The ones I have have 2 smaller cutouts, leaving less of the phone exposed. Thanks

I got the same thing in the mail a few days ago, and stopped at a nearby store Wednesday. After talking to the salesguy for a few minutes I realized I knew more about the phones than he did, and stopped asking questions and just told him I would buy the Droid X and to please order one for me... But yeah, my contract isn't supposed to be up until like early next fall, late summer, something like that, so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the notice in the mail! I have a Touch Pro2 right now, and I just hate it. It's my second WinMo phone, and the frequent performance problems just annoy the crap out of me (I'm running the stock 6.5 ROM just cause I'm too scared of bricking it), so I'm making the jump to Android.

I just got my DCMugen case and it does not have 1 large cutout on the back. It looks exactly like your case. I'm not trying to tear you down, because I would have ordered from you if I had seen this before I ordered from him.
DCMugen is cheaper (by about $4), but you will get your case much slower (took about 2 weeks to get mine from him).

Vinyl Skins for Archos 101/70

Hi guys. I posted this in General this morning, but I think this is a better place... if a mod sees this please move/delete the post in General.
Check this: http://www.decalgirl.com. I know this place from some time already when I bought them for my iPod.
They make vinyl adhesive covers for almost every device in the world, and some of them look really cool, specially the rugged ones. The material (rugged) has very good quality and they send it by regular mail including a key to download the desktop wallpaper that fits EXACTLY with the design, making the customization very good.
Its very easy to place as the adhesive material which is made of can be placed and removed as many times as you need, and it will keep your device away from dirt and scratches. You can even have more than one and switch them when you want, as they're easy to remove and they can be placed again even if several days/weeks have passed.
Yesterday I went to check if they had covers for the Archos 70IT, and found they only have for the 10.1, the 4.3 and the old archos as the 7HT, that's slightly different from 70IT, so they wouldn't fit.
I posted a "Device Suggestion" asking them if they would support the Archos 70IT in a near future, and this is their reply:
We do not have that device currently. What I can do though is have it added to our list of devices to discuss with our development team.
If the device is really being marketed or we get a great response from consumers there may be a great chance we will do it.
We release about 4-5 devices per month so are always looking for devices to bring in.

Maybe if enough of us ask them to make it, they will do... I would love to get covers for the A70IT cause they make it look really cool and customized. Will anyone lend a hand and help me asking them to make it?
Cheers
They seem expensive at $20. For press/apply vinyl, I wouldn't expect to pay more than $5. There are folio cases available in the $20 range, after all.

I agree they're expensive.. but anyway, folio cases and this kind of vinyl skins are not the same animal...
Guess you're paying the design and giving your device a "unique" or "cool" looking more than protecting it...

Skinomi has skins that come with screen protectors. They have clear, carbon fiber, and natural wood skins. Unfortunately the carbon fiber and the wood skins for the 70 still show out of stock when you try and order them. I plan on getting the dark wood skin once they are available. 24.95 for the 70 skin and you can usually find a coupon to use with the purchase with a quick Google search. They also have a lifetime replacement guarantee.
Skinomi is finally are showing the Carbon Fiber and Natural Wood skins for the 70s as in stock. Just ordered the Dark Wood skin. They are $24.95, used the coupon code "get25" to save 25% and it was free shipping. All together cost $18.71.
Hello,
OMFG They are really expansive i got an rubber case for about 15DOLLARS.
Got it from Amazon.
you should buy that.

Carbon fiber skin $4.99 shipped W/PICS!!!

I was snooping around for SII, Epic 4G Touch, accessories and stumbled upon this on eBay. I thought it was going to be just a cheap vinyl with an image of carbon fiber printed all over it. For $4.99 shipped I thought I would give it a try.
eBay link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/22094980676...X:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649#ht_1831wt_1063
When I received it (quick shipping too) I was surprised to see that the skin actually has texture rather than just being a flat vinyl. Its a dry installation and fairly easy to do, granted that you dont drink 3 bottles of Monster before applying. The skin also comes with 2 screen protectors which require a water/soap solution, I didn't bother applying those or even trying them out. ( I hate wet installation screen protectors, prefer dry installation. ) So I cannot comment on the quality of the screen protectors.
The skin covers the entire back and all sides. The cutouts are proper and do not conflict with any functionality. NOTHING in the front is covered with this skin, which I thought kinda sucked. But now that its on my phone I actually think its better that way.
Once applied the skin looks pretty sweet. The texture grips nice and protects your phone from scratches that would mostly derive from being in your pocket, sliding on counters, sitting in your cup holder while driving, and when placing it on the bathroom sink while you wipe your rear after that poopy-while-on-your-phoney.
DONT THINK this will protect your phone from a wooden bat swing or drops. Its a skin, not an otterbox defender.
As for quality, I have had it on my SII for 6 days and still looks as it did the day I put it on. In another week, who knows, another month who knows. Maybe tomorrow it will fall apart and disintegrate.. im not sure.. but so far it was well worth the 5 bucks, and then some.
Side note: my local mall charges like $90 bucks for these things with installation.. WTH................. (granted those are probably better quality)
I have it on my Nook Color and it is definitely worth the price.
Looks nice
I like... For 5 bucks I'm totally going to give this one a try. Thank OP
got one!
Nice. Got one. Thanks for the heads up.
nice i like this! thanks
is this skin thin enough to not affect its use with a samsung car dock?
I cannot tell you for sure since I dont have the dock, but the skin adds very little to the device.

Question, did it come with a cutout for the Sprint Logo? In the ebay pics it covers the Sprint logo, but in your pics the logo is showing.
Honestly I wish it would cover the Sprint Logo, I hate carrier branding on the outside of the device, huge pet peeve of mine.

I have had one if these since the phone came out. I got it from ghost armor. Mine does cover the log on the back. I also have a desktop dock and it still fits. I am sure my skin is the same thickness as this one. Mine is just more expensive since these weren't out yet.

There is a cutout for the sprint logo, so it does show once the skin is applied.
Have you ever tried rubbing a sugar cube on it? I have heard of people doing that and successfully removing such logos off their device.

Yeah I sent them a message not too long ago. I use USPS very often and they always provide me with a tracking number, when I sell and buy. We'll see what happens, I'm not blaming them or anything, just saying how it is.
Edit: Just got a response, it is word for word the same as yours. My item was marked "shipped" on the 4th or 5th though, we'll just have to wait some more.
No so sure it's the seller's fault. USPS workers in my area are pretty disgruntled atm and it shows. They are all feeling what's about to happen to some of them.
Thanks just pick up one.

Anti-Glare/Fingerprint Screen Cover by Sir Lancelot's Armor

Has anyone tried these screen protectors yet? They have 8 reviews, all of which are 5 stars. Surprised nobody has mentioned these yet. I went ahead and ordered one to see how it looks. I know it's going to be the matte finish but I'm wondering how the fit is because nobody mentions the fit in a negative manner in any of those reviews.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006ZNVWO4/ref=oh_o00_s00_i00_details
Looking forward to hearing about the "clear" version.
Thanks for the heads-up.
Would love to hear how you like this as well. Any time there is a random product with all five stars I get suspicious, so be sure to give us a review!
Yeah, they do have the ultra-clear version too (http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Galax..._17?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1332858648&sr=1-17) but it's unavailable so wasn't able to order that one. Really just want to see how the fit is...if it's a hybrid of the full size plus SGP's size then I think it will be perfect!
I think its safe to say just about every single one of those reviews are fabricated... some guy commenting even pointed out that one of the reviewers had written a review on multiple products of the same company in the same day.
But alas, try it out, I do like Anti-glare protectors, and report back here, I'll be awaiting a quick (real) review!

Damn, I didn't see that last review comment. I feel like I kind of got ripped off now. Oh well we will see, if it sucks too badly then I'll just return it. Amazon customer service FTW.
I'd love to know as well, I stumbled upon that same exact screen protector this morning, and a quick Google search led me here (was also skeptical of the reviews after reading the last comment).
I LOVE matte screen protector's, but I haven't been able to find one the does not 'rainbow' on the Galaxy Nexus. Need something to stop my sweaty fingers from smudging up the screen! I will be waiting for your review as well, and possibly a close up camera pic to show possible 'rainbowing'?

As a recommendation, I'm using the anti-glare "Basal Guard" from Amazon. The fit is very good, only problem is that it does lip on the edges, if you have a case that covers the edges though you wouldn't be able to tell. As far as rainbowing goes, I don't see any, and it has the standard matte feeling to it.
The antiglare effect is very heavy on the protector, some will hate it, some will appreciate it, I personally do think it detracts from the beautiful screen, but I love the matte feeling so I kept it on.
So I just got it in today and after using it for the day I've decided to take it off already. This is a very heavily matted type screen cover so the rainbow looking pixels are very noticeable on anything white which bugs the living hell out of me. HOWEVER, the fit is near perfect. I think they hit the perfect size from the edge so it doesn't lift up so I will definitely be ordering their ultra-clear one when the come back in stock. I will put up a picture as soon as I get my hands on my girlfriend's camera to show you guys.

So the tempered glass you're making are going to only be like the picture above? I'm not a fan of tempered glass where is just sticky around the edges. Are you making regular ones too?

I believe they will have more than one model according to their post, they say: "full coverage, 3D, and full glue models."
Sorry for the confusion!
We only have one design. It is a 3D design with full adhesive. Thanks!
I'm intrigued but already ordered 5 different full coverage/full adhesive TG Pixel 4 protectors for less than the price of your 1. What's the advantage of this one over others to justify the $20 (apparently 50% off, too) price?

Based on prior models, we decided to go with a 3D mold for the edges of the protector, along with full adhesive. Having a 3D design bumps up pricing a bit. Once you see reviews coming in of our glass I think you will see the difference

Oh, nice! Order placed. The good news is that I'll have plenty of other screen protectors to use until the intelliarmor one arrives in November.
Thanks!
Nice,
I loved your screen protectors for the Pixel 1, but your offerings for the Pixel 2 and 3 were sub par at best.
We'll see how these work out.
Will these ship in time to be received when pre ordered phones are delivered to people?

Our Pixel 4 series will be one of the best yet. Yes, we're rushing to ship these out ahead of schedule. It's always a mad race to get them out with each new device launch
Good to hear.
Take your time, I'd rather have them be right than be available fast.

I appreciate trying to deliver them ASAP but I really hope I get this in time for when I get my phone because I don't want to have to order from a million different places. If this is coming a lot later than my phone order, salt I'll have to cancel my order with you guys. I can't afford to not have a tempered glass on my phone and don't have extra funds to buy more than what I need. My phone arrives between this Thursday and Friday

@intelliARMOR, will this also be available in Germany/Europe? Probably from Amazon? How difficult is it to apply those 3D molded "glasses"? Are they glasses at all?

Howdy! We ship to the EU from the USA, however don't have plans to set this up Amazon in the EU. If there is a preferred retailer you'd like to buy from let us know and we can work to get setup with them. Thanks!
I just received mine in the mail today.
Did not find an install tray within the package, should one be included? I am holding off installing it without the install tray...
I also noticed the black border does not follow the pixel 4's screen 100%, so I am afraid the screen's edge will potentially be blocked.
Has anyone noticed the same issue?

I haven't even received mine yet and I'm already disappointed and planning to refuse delivery and attempt to get a full refund.
I already have 3 other screen protectors for my Pixel 4 that cost significantly less than this one and all but one came with an install tray for proper alignment. Also, IntelliARMOR skimped out and went with DHL for shipping, which is notoriously terrible and just a kick to the face, considering the increased cost of this protector over the competition.
For reference, the package is only traveling over 1 state (Nevada to Colorado) and DHL has had my package for 6 days with an estimated delivery that is still 3 days away. 9 days to ship a screen protector 2 states away?!? Give me a break. USPS, Fedex and UPS all managed to get my other protectors to me within 2-3 days.
@intelliARMOR - If you're going to charge 2-3x more for a protector than your competitors, the least you can do is use better than the worst shipping option possible. And no install tray? Come on.
I'm annoyed that I gave my money to intelliARMOR and will not give up until I get it back.
Also, for those interested, I currently have this full coverage protector installed and it's perfect. it comes with a TPU case that you can install first to use as the guide for the protector install. The case is nice enough that I actually chose to keep it installed rather than slapping my Spigen case on. Oh, and it only costs $8 and arrived within 24 hours of ordering.
