Hello guys!
This is the thread for the Pixel Experience Pie rom I build for the LG V30 (H930). The Pixel Experience project tries to make the Google Pixel phone experience useable on more devices. It is an AOSP fork with nearly all Google Pixel apps and features already included one single rom. The newest version is based on Android 9.0 Pie.
It should be as stable, secure fast and clean as possible.
What's working?
WiFi & Mobile Data
Camera, Camcorder & Flashlight
Bluetooth, GPS & NFC
Fingerprint Sensor
Speaker (left channel) & Vibration
Hi-Fi Quad DAC
Encryption
Bugs:
You tell me
About the encryption:
Encryption is working, but TWRP isn't capable of decryption Android Pie. It's better to wait until it does.

All good on LS998 converted to US998 on VZW :good:
Great work.

This is great! Is there any way to use the wide angle lens? And any guess as to why I'm unable to enable visual voicemail and wifi calling in the Google dialer? I'm on tmo and those two features worked just fine with my Pixel (sailfish). Definitely not a dealbreaker if I can't get those to work. I also noticed that this one includes an FM radio app, which the build from Mohzuned lacked, so thanks for that! :good:

Hi, I can't get the AOD to work with the Linux ROM, or my Orion ROM. Does it work for everyone else?

Nice. Good to see you here now. Only miss full oms 7.1.
What's the difference between this and the others LAOS ROMs?
Is the fingerprint sensor a little glitchy? Camera and front camera? There is the tint bug?
Thanks for posting a new ROM

Yeah, sorry, my series of questions came out a little rude.
It's just that the "features" of a ROM are usually in the first post, and here I haven't seen some basic information (like the camera behavior, that it's glitchy in all the LAOS ROMs). I'll gladly test the ROM, but in these days I can't do modding because I have to study (a lot of exams at my university in february). I'll test it in a few days.

Flo, why isn't the calling in FB messenger not working? Is it a problem from lineage side or the source? Or the app?

Weird, I was told I had to do at least two months of unoffical stable releases after producing five months of code that worked perfectly for every version and here you are without a proper working camera and you still got official?

I'm on the official Plus version and camera works well, I also flashed the micam linked in the telegram support group which works as good.
And about the maintainership, he is already an internal member of PixelExperience team. So he'll maintain it for long no doubts about that.
Does the wireless display work ? I have the previous google experience 11 rom downloaded from the official webpage and the screen cast freeze the phone and then reboot ir. Also the battery life it's really bad. (After installing naptime with aggressive doze it got a lot better)
Does this version works better?
Thank you! Is the fast charge availible now?

Do I flash it in Twrp? Thanks I love Google so this rom is perfect for me
Edit: just renamed the magisk .apk to .zip and flash. Truly a thing of beauty
FYI you need to enrol a fingerprint to add multiple Gmail accounts

Yes, it's a feature of the ROM itself, anyway thanks for the feedback. I'll make improvements over time ^^
Tested on G970F. Stable and Good battery life. Good work on the ROM. Could add Live display option or Blue light filter but nevertheless fantastic ROM.
I find that incall audio, during phonecalls is very quiet. It is nice to have full control of my magisk app..

The live display exists in the rom, but it's hidden
Go to the search part of the settings and look for live display

I noticed this detail in the calls too, is it something that bothers you? Because if it bothers I will analyze to see if I change some microphone values.. Thank you very much for the donate, it helps a lot <3

Live display is hidden by default, it's a feature of AOSPK itself

Well, I have to push my ear into the phone to hear the other person if there's any way to make it louder it'd be great.

I'm looking at a new ROM to test out, after finding out my current one gave me problems with Android Auto. A few questions:
- I'm currently on firmware FUF3. In the screenshot, I see you're on FUE6. Does that make any difference?
- Has anybody tested USB? In my current ROM, it seems to be a known problem that USB switches on and off all the time, which stopped me from testing Android Auto wired. Wireless also didn't work, but testing with a cable is the first step to debug and if that also doesn't work...
Thanks for the great work!

The firmware version will not interfere with the ROM operation, have you tested it recently and this USB connection problem appeared? I will release an OTA Update this week, Tim (Linux4) has reworked the tree, and maybe that will solve some of the existing problems. I will keep you informed

thanks
me already working on it
I installed Pixelify and the option for recording calls appeared, then I can start recording but most cases the error message it's nor possible store the call is shown.
This rom runs smooth and fast. No problem at all. Would be possible more customizable?
Thank so much optimusprime9811

riceDroid-6.0-22092116-OFFICIAL-6.0-enchilada.zip
riceDroid-6.0-22092214-OFFICIAL-Pixel-enchilada.zip
The "Pixel" version comes with GApps and the other version is vanilla.

Not correct.
Both versions are with GApps, but the first one was the initial build and only a day after the Pixel version arrived, which already had some improvements and changes.
Will the Banking and other apps working out of the box specially like Payzapp and maruti Suzuki reward app (which seems having some differnt algo and not even work in Lineage OS 19 vanila version)?
I found a bug: after paying with my banking app several times, suddenly stop working. The cause was the NFC, it "dissapeared" please see the screenshot attached. By rebooting the NFC menu appeared again. It has happened to me several times.

They recommend always doing a clean installation, even more so coming from a previous version

I did it and it's working. But I don't have the updater option, not sure if it's my fault. And dynamic themes of android 13 still lack the 2 colors, they only have 1, just as android 12. Not sure if it's due to a not clean isntall too. When they release a good android 13 build with everything working i'll do a clean instalation, with the firmware and everything.
Yeah will do clean install only thanks
Hey guys
a very weird question and want someone who has ricedroid installed ,
did anyone try to see if you can screen capture the whatsapp new feature of [only view once]?
In thi version I get the "Review out-of-sync-changes" prompt in Google Photos. Can you set the Google Photos app as a system app so it'll solve this?
Thanks!
It's an amazing rom!
