Bootloader splash screen - Samsung Galaxy A70 Questions & Answers

I have recently unlocked my A70's bootloader. Now when I restart my phone, your phone's bootloader is unlocked. This type of screen appears on display for 5 seconds. How to get rid of this?

Can you explain how you unlocked the boatloader ? Thanks in advance

Bootloader will not get unlocked from settings. You need to use adb shell to unlock any android phone. Unless your phone came with an unlocked bootloader.

That's not the case with Samsung phones. Turning on OEM Unlocking in Developer settings actually unlocks the bootloader

You mean, Samsung bootloader is directly linked to OEM settings?

I don't know what you mean. By turning on OEM Unlocking option in Samsung phones you can flash custom ROMS etc.
Option is avaliable straight from developer options no need for adb commands

In this way you can unlock bootloader. Remember that all data will be wiped. Do at your own risk.

I'm interesting on this device to do some works, but still don't understand if the whole knox can be restored once original firmware is installed.

Problem with Camera after Custom Roms

So I flashed 3 ROMS from openkirin.net,
1. LOS
2. Carbon OS
3. RR Os
Everything is fine except the camera apps there. All three Roms have apps that just click normal pics whenever i switch to portrait mode (I must add they contain stock emui camera app) the apps just hangs.
Does anybody have a solution to this to take portrait mode photos on custom roms.
Or any camera ( can be third party ) that can allow me to do so.
Thanks in advance ?

Name any custom ROM. They're Camera are just bare bones. Having stock camera port is great actually. We can't really complain about camera since we don't have Gcam mod available for kirin devices.

Follow this procedure:
Dr.Anshuman said:
if you have unlocked your bootloader status and you want your original 'Locked' status instead of 'ReLocked' status, follow the procedure.
1. fastboot reboot bootloader
2. fastboot oem relock UnlockCode this will ReLock your bootloader
3. switch on your phone, go to developer menu and Uncheck the OEM unlocking
4. Reboot your phone, done , your Phone status is now "Locked" , FRP is also Locked , you can check it in fastboot mode
5. if you want to unloack FRP, then just go to developer menu and Allow oem unloack, this will turn off FRP but bootloader status remains "LOCKED" , it doesn't change to ReLocked.
Enjoy

After that I went to check fastboot mode whether everything is unlocked. But it showing the 'relocked' but not 'locked' status. Anything to do sir???

are you on oreo?
on oreo, if BL is unlocked, developer oem unlocking option will freeze to "oem unlocking Allowed" so this procedure is not useful.
by the way, if you have untouched stock rom, then OTA updates will come even on unlock bootloader and
you can claim warranty with ReLocked status.

Reseted bootloader unlock time

I could easily unlock my bl 4 or 5 times with my old mi account. After flashed MiUi 10 Global beta fastboot rom, i can't unlock the bootloader because the counter showing 360 hours? Why? What is the reason of resetting?
So th flashing not only locked your phone, but reserved your unlock timer?

I locked it but did it many times. I could unlock with my old account easily till yesterday. Do you think its a server problem?
they say you could unlock 1 time only per month on an account. If so, you it totally reset. Its in the forum announced. Better read faqs and announcement.
In theory: - Once a device has been unlocked once already, you should be able to unlock/lock multiple times with the same account.
Limitation: - You can only unlock a new device once per month.
Re-unlocking the bootloader
Once a phone's been unlocked, it can be locked and re-unlocked using the same account countless of times, anytime, on any official or custom ROM. The preparations mentioned above are only required for the first unlock.

Yes but I doing that all the time becuse there was no problem with the unlocking until the miui 10 fastboot...
My old account reseted to 360 hours. I hate this policy. There is no logic in it.

Can this Pixel 2 XL device be bootloader unlocked? Currently locked. (How to check)

Can this Pixel 2 XL device be bootloader unlocked? Currently locked. (How to check if a device can be bootloader unlocked - the seller does not know)
I am uploading an image of the fastboot (bootloader) mode.
This phone's model is G011C. Is there a way to tell by that?
Thanks!

Connect to wi-fi, enable Developer options, check to see if OEM unlocking is available to enable. If it is,
you can unlock by using unlock instructions found here and everywhere.
If that does not work, it's probably a Verizon version and not unlockable; however
there's an outside chance that a factory reset followed by enabling Dev Options might
allow unlock if it's possible.

It's probly Verizon if not unlocked by above. You can find out for sure by entering IMEI here: http://www.imeipro.info/check_lg.html
If it's VZN, that will show up in detail of report.

S9 SM-G960F Root Issue On android pie one UI

Hello, I tried following the tutorial that seems to work for everyone
(
) LINK to tutorial.
But my basic problem is that when i try to flash twrp it says " only official binaries can be flashed"
It happened after i enabled OEM unlocking and the phone restarted then i went to download mode before allowing it to restart, thats where it gave me that issue., I want to root my phone.
I am sharing current state of my phone. If somebody can guide me i would be thankful.

your bootloader state is prenormal, still locked. Unlock it and you should be good. There are some files you can flash it keep the prenormal at bay once you get it removed

the prevailing theory is that you have to leave the phone on for 168 hours, after a fresh install, enable dev options, then uncheck the box. The FRP lock will re-enable it self even if you have the OEM unlock toggle switched to off. Reflash your stock firmware in Odin, set the phone up for as much as youd need in 168 hours worth of usage, then do the oem unlock. Then immediately boot to DL mode and flash twrp

there is also another zip file to flash when dealing with the oem unlock to make sure it doesnt lock again. ill have to look for it, but i came across it originally in the Galaxy A8 forum. You might also have to wait 168 hours and then try the toggle again. This 168 hour thing can be a real bugger.

No, the thing is that my OEM UNLOCK is toggled On, which means my bootloader is unlocked.
That should mean that my rmm state should not be prenormal,
But its not like that.
Despite flashing new rom and having oem unlock already toggled on which means unlocking the bootloader,
I am still unable to flash twrp.
What else can i do? Any solution ?

i know the toggle is on, but that doesnt ensure that your bootloader is unlocked. If your rmm state is anything other than prenormal, then its definitely not unlocked.
rmm prenormal has been a bane of the samsung xda corner of the internet for a while now, read this
im betting its the 168 hour issue. dont reboot your phone for 168 hours and toggle it off then back on

no, im not sure. but the worst thing that could happen is the phone making you wait another 168 hours if you toggle it once and it makes you wait for the second toggle again.

only issue that could cause, if it was even going to cause an issue, is reset the time since previous reboot, in which case all that would happen is having to wait 168 hours again if that doesnt work
