Hi
Use this tutorial

Hi I'm new , too. I hope this file works in p30 (Peru) because I buy and I has bloatware from my mobile company

Help with P30 bought in China
Hello,
I bought my P30 in China, and brought it to Brazil (my country of residence). My phone cant' download anything from Google Play and Playstore. All in all, I cannot install my favorites apps such as WhatsApp, facebook, Instagram, Waze, etc, etc.. Would a installation of a new firmware solve this problem? If yes, is there any specific firmware version should I install?
My model is ELE-AL00, version 9.1.0.162, Android 9.
I'd greatly appreciate any help on this matter. Thanks in advance.
André

Andre, you can download those apps from aptoide on a pc. And copy them to your phone. Also you can download from other places like apk mirror and place them on the smartphoneto install them
Hope you can solve it.
Ps: maybe a full wipe can help

Thanks, chubutnet! I have just downloaded all the apks from APK mirror. How can I copy these apk files to my phone? Sorry for this dumb question.. I'm new with that.
I suppose I can just use the charging cable and connect the phone directly to the USB port of my computer, transfer the files, and run them on the phone?
Regarding the full wipe, it might be a good idea since I have chinese apps on the phone, some of them I cannot erase. Also, the "news" is showing up in chinese.. I don't know how to change, or remove that. It's really annoying.. Could you please give me some hints on how to do a full wipe?
Thanks so much for your great help!
André

Of course, you go to settings and there choose system and then restablishment or something like that. That will erase everything.
Don't worry, there's a solution for everything [emoji6]

And to copy those files to the smartphone., just connect it to the computer and activate the USB download mode on the phone. That way you will be able to copy files from your computer to the phone

You have to change the region first.
Guide is still not available for P30/P30Pro and EMUI 9.1
Try installing the apps you need from APKPure, XDALabs, APKMirror, until the solution is ready

So, let me understand, in the zip posted here there are more files than the downloadable firmware from FF, like "Update sd cust" and "Update sd preload". If I understand, these files remain the same any time, but the only file to change is "update_sd_base.zip" downloaded from FF, I am right?

New stock rom for ZE551ML / WW_2.20.40.139

Hello, everybody. I never post on XDA because I hate the notification that you get whenever you try to post on development topics. Anyway, I noticed that an update for the phone has been released and I use CM 12.1 mostly and would like to know a couple of things:
-Does that version includes a new IFWI?
-Is there any possibility that a flashable zip can be created, like on this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/zen...-unofficial-cyanogenmod-12-1-nightly-t3164144
I do not want to install stock to update the IFWI and then go back to cyanogenmod, that is why I ask. If there's not response I might end up creating a flashable zip myself.
Take care, happy holidays by the way.
I'm on stock so I could probably answer some of questions but what is IFWI?
The file IFWI is same as .97, no changes has have been made.
Anyone using .139 have xposed installed?

Xposed framework installer doesn't work for me( stuck in the boot screen), I had to install temporary CWM to make it work.

Thanks, didn't want to go to stock just to update the IFWI. As per my understanding, that's firmware provided by Intel, not sure if related to modem or camera, but I think it's good to be up to date.

Yes that's correct IFWI actually stands for Integrated Firmware Image it can actually include multiple component elements in the one IFWI package.
I have xposed working now on 139, dont forget the busybox to install, or else will not work

EMUI 5.0 BETA (Android 7.0) is out today (11/25/2016) for China

So the Beta testing program for EMUI 5.0 started in China. For now you can just register and will get the first build on the 29th.

Awesome! Thanks for the news.
So we can expect it OTA in 2018 for nova plus in Canada with ROGERS hahaha
not the phone (i do own it and its a pearl)... but EMUI 5.0
Rogers...must say...i feel good talking about them......it took me 2 frikkin hours a their kiosk from start to leave with new phone...about 1 hour of battling with their informatic system with the contract and another hour to do the same damned thing by PHONE...
then ,this week received a poll about the service...and instead of being with blablabla Rogers blabla,it was Fido blablabla on the Rogers page...
https://www.facebook.com/carl21005/videos/1132731960138550/
That's why I never get locked devices.
For huawei, very simple to unlock it...and its free...just go on their website...create an account and fill up you
https://hwid5.vmall.com/CAS/portal/...2Fen&loginChannel=22000000&reqClientType=2023
I wonder if emui 5.0 for P9 would be supported on the Nova plus...based on these comparatives...
http://gadgets.ndtv.com/huawei-nova-plus-3743-vs-huawei-p9-3418-vs-huawei-mate-8-3128
ive look for the import via the dial secret codes and its the same as P9... with same menu
Kirin on the P9 vs Snapdragon in the Nova ?
I don't think that will work.
man...my hands are tickling...My hands want to try it but my head says DONT YOU DARE !!! hahaha
Do it do it ?
Stop torturing me please...its hard enaugh to contain myself
The links in the OP show that the beta for the Nova was released, but you had to register and only 200 were chosen. No doubt some people leaked it. But it is only for two of the Nova variants.
Well...i saw the page in chinese...i said sayonara hahaha

[ROM][8.0.0] MIUI 9 GLOBAL Beta Rom 8.2.1 based on Oreo [scorpio][02.03.2018]

This is a beta rom so as the name implies you may encounter various problems/bugs.
Fastboot (unlocked bootloader)(erases all your internal storage):
http://bigota.d.miui.com/8.3.1/scor....1_20180301.0000.00_8.0_global_7127f41234.tgz
Recovery (TWRP and unlocked bootloader)(full wipe highly recommended):

The update has been suspended at the moment but download links are still working... Anyway you flash the packages at your own risk, I don't assume any responsibilities for any bricked or exploded devices! This is only for sharing purposes!
Thank I very much for sharing
Thank you!

Well if you like risking a hard brick you can download that file, rename it update.zip and put it in the folder downloaded_rom. Then go to the miui updater app and it should see it as an update and the installation will start. The problem is that if you are on locked bootloader without TWRP and the flash goes wrong you can throw away your phone...

No risk, no fun... I used the option in the updater and it doesn't allow me to install it. Probably because I need special privileges... In any case, these are excellent news for custom ROMs
Edit: previous to the installation of the .ZIP it asks me to be connected to the internet... It can't be connected without being connected to the internet. So definitely they check if the user is allowed to install it.
Anyways. Anyone using the ROM can give some feedback, please?
Installed by twrp and running perfect ... for now no failure
routed with magisk 16.0
So installed last TWRP, wiped all data and storage for decryption, all went ok, inastalled oreo beta rom and magisc 16, during booting phone first get encrypted again and then rom boots up. Restarting back to TWRP is asking for password again to decrypt phone. So because of that I get back to nougat and TWRP 3.1.1.0 because that is only one that is not asking password. So please help and inlight me what I was doing wrong.

You have to be in the Beta Team to install those packages with the updater app. The method the Super Moderator recommended me is fastboot because it's an android version update. The ROM worked fine in the first day , no important bug that can prevent it to be a daily driver.

Any idea why the phone is not updated? I have noticed that most of you have 9.1.0.123 R2P21 and mine is R1P21 will have something to do ?
