Dual SIM tray - OnePlus 7 Pro Accessories

Hey I see that you can use a dual SIM card tray... Where do you get them from ?
Thank you
Edit I have 5g version if that matters

Update - I have UK on ee 5g pro but SIM tray will only take one SIM it's not double sided.

i bought one from ebay
just search for oneplus 7 pro sim tray

I don't think the 5g model will take 2 sims. (Noticed your 2nd post so you presumably already know this )

I don't know if the 5g is dual SIM how can I find out? It has no settings in UI for a 2nd SIM

Anyone know if the 5g version is dual SIM... Two different people say two different things.
Regards

has anyone checked this out for the 5G version yet? might just order one and try it.

The 5G model can do dual-SIM, but you will lose 5G. You literally would have to flash it do a different firmware to achieve this or hope for someone to create a ROM with the 5G firmware that enables dual-SIM. The hardware is capable of dual-SIM, it's just disabled in the 5G firmware.

eBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-OEM-Du...var=522291973382&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
Due to arrive in 7 to 10 days.
Update: it works perfectly!

How did you get.it to work

note 10 plus 5g dual sim

Hi all
I live in the uk and would like to buy a note 10 plus 5g 512Gb dual sim, unfortunately it's not available in the uk only the single sim available. Does anyone know if it's available in that format where I could get one that would work in the uk
Thanks in advance
I think only the 4g version has a dual sim option globally. Correct me if I am wrong though...
5G version of note 10 plus doesn't come with dual sim
Thanks for the replys I will order the 4G version I have found a 512 GB version on egloba,l as the uk only does the dual sim version in 256GB
Wrong information
There is a Note 10 Plus 5G in dualism.
It's the Chinese Version model # : SM-9760
The Problem Samsung is making a big secret of this in Europe. The problem is how to get it and maybe the Rom /frequency band problems for Europe.
I hope next high and Samsung phones like s11 note 11 will have at least dual sim if not this is my last Samsung device

A705FN to A705FN/DS ???

Hello, i have the sam A705FN (non dual sim varient, however other network providers here do have the DS varient)
When i took this phone i assumed i would get th Dual sim varient.
I see on my sim tray i have shouldhve had space for 3 cards (one last slot is blanked out)
Now my question is, if i get a ds varient sim tray will i be able to ise dual sim, even if i need to somehow flash the ds firmware.
And does the fn varient even have the hardware to support dual sim

I don't think you can use dual sim even if you used the tray form a dual sim model. If the phone only shows 1 IMEI number the device probably only has 1 sim card slot.

true but you can trick the phone by adding a 2st imei from another phone , also the firmware check of your hardware is compatible , so if it detect a dual sim it could theorically work and the settings would appear again or not be greyed out anymore

How can we be sure that there is a second sim card reader in it?

Yeah you can't be sure. My guess would be that it does not have a second sim card reader because it doesn't make sense for a company to make hardware and disable it through software (Even though it could and has happened). Cant be sure until somebody does a teardown comparison.

Hey, sorry for only getting back to you now, life has been busy..
but here's what's happened since i last posted.
I have an a70 from MTN-SA (mobile telecommunications network south Africa)
it is a single sim tray.
i used a sim tray from the Samsung galaxy a50 Dual sim variant, with no second sim detected unfortunately.
i wonder if the device has the hardware to support a second sim. If so, i do have an extra IMEI number to use that i got off a cheapo dual sim china phone.

i wondered the same thing.. But there is a dual sim variant of this device out in the wild.
My country doesn't allow dual sim (only with 2 specific carriers [cell-c & Telkom Mobile (8ta)])
so it's weird that they would make two separate hardware revisions for the same market?

Not sure where to put this.

I'm in the UK. I have a Galaxy Note 10 plus that I bought recently. Unfortunately, I hadn't bothered to check if it's a dual SIM phone. Turns out, is isn't. :-/
However, I'm now seeing quite a few galaxy Note 10 plus for sale on eBay that are being advertised as dual SIM. I messaged a few of the sellers and they confirmed that it's dual SIM.
Does anyone know if this phone is being produced as a dual SIM phone in markets outside the UK? If so, would it be possible to use those phones in the UK network?
Tia.

It will work if it's a gsm model or exynos processor.

only the 4G version is dual SIM, in the UK if you purchased/wanted 5G it is only ever a single SIM due to the 5G modem. so really it was a choice between dual SIM but 4G or having 5G.
I was in a way disappointed by the single SIM but it was only because after I got it I was transfering networks, but in the end I would rather 5G than the second SIM slot.

Dual sim tray in single sim phone?

I've got a Note 10+ 5G (SM-N796B) and currently have a second phone for work. I'd rather have just one phone, and as my Note doesn't support eSIM, I'm curious if buying a dual-sim tray will enable me to run both SIM's?
Will the OS (OneUI 3.1, android 11) automatically pick up both SIMs, or will it be more complicated than this?
dual tray will not make any difference

Question Le2125 dual sim

Like title says, can I put a dual sim tray in my 9 pro north american LE2125 to get dual sim?

Hi, I have an dual sim card tray in my unlocked NA model, the same model you are referring to. i bought it (dual sim tray)off of Amazon from a link someone posted quite a while back when android 12 was first coming out. There was a thread here with the info at the time. I haven't ever got to use the other sim because at the time they had a few uncertainties. I'm still on a android 11 based custom ROM.

It is? Strange, my sim tray is only a single sim, my ROMs only show 1 sim number. And yes, my phone model IS LE2125 and not the T-Mobile version. I have used the LE2125 msm numerous times and global OOS and never had issues with modem/base bands and stuff so my model is the north american global unlocked

is your device perhaps a telecom device (telecom devices are only single sim) which has been flashed to a global device?

No, even if it WAS flashed to global, I would have to use the T-Mobile msm, which I don't need or use. Also, don't have radio issues using custom ROMs like T-Mobile users have.

No, LE2115 and LE2125 are both single SIM. In fact the T-Mobile LE2127 is a dual SIM device, one of the reasons people were buying it, but it's totally unstable, as it ships with a single SIM tray and the second is disabled.
I received a couple days ago from Amazon my order for OnePlus 9 Pro 5G LE2123 Dual SIM 12GB+256GB EU/UK Model Global ROM Factory Unlocked International Version. After setting it up and done migrating all my files from my OnePlus 8 Pro Model IN 2025 Dual Sim, I am surprised to see that the item I received is the Model LE2125 which is confirmed Dual Sim.
My previous research all said that Model LE2125 is only Single SIM, but here is my newly delivered Model LE2125 and it is indeed Dual SIM and both SIM cards are confirmed working. Can anyone enlighten or confirm that LE2125 is actually not Single SIM?
My primary TMobile card on Sim 1 is working fine and picking up 5G, while my secondary international roaming card on Sim 2 is also working.
Your feedback and input will be appreciated. Thank you much.

So, LE2125 is single sim ONLY. I know because I bought a dual sim tray and put 2 active T-Mobile sims in it and only 1 showed up.
But mine is LE2125 and I was surprised to see that it is in fact DUAL SIM, with dual sim tray and both sim cards are working (I put in my primary US T-Mobile sim in tray 1 and my international roaming sim card in tray 2). I bought the device from Amazon Marketplace used or refurbished.
Please see the 3 screenshots I posted showing the ModeLE2125 with 2 Sims and 2 IMEIs in device settings.

I think your software may be LE2125 but its either T-Mobile hardware or EU hardware.
Thank you for your kind observation. But all I can say is that this LE2125 is DUAL SIM with dual sim tray with 2 sim cards working (even my international roaming sim card on sim 2 receives my multiple test sms mesages sent from my US Tmobile number). So, as a hardware this LE2125 is working fine. As far as its sotware is concerned, it's already beyond me how it got into the device.
Thank you anyway for your input.

What I am meaning is, you phone might actually be LE2123 or LE2127 with north American OOS showing LE2125. Software is not hardware specific. Some ROMs will change your model number
Thank you so much for this info, that software is not hardware specific. This info is very new to me as I thought all along that frequency bands on a device is dictated by the physical hardware itself and not assigned via mere software configuration.

It's not the bands that are being spoken of, it's the hardware model shown in the settings. If you have a full conversion device, it's possible to convert from, say, LE2127 T-Mobile to show LE2125 US unlocked instead.
This is likely what happened because T-Mobile devices sell for cheap because nobody wants to deal with the headaches from them.
Thank you for this valuable information. I thought specific device models made for let's say, Europe, China, US have the radio hardware baked in with specific 5G or 4G LTE bands that work in specific regional markets.

They DO have this. Changing your model number with software won't change the bands that are supported, it just can change the model number (which is incredibly stupid as it makes it easy for people to sell a phone as something that it's not).
Wow, thank you again. Yes, it looks like it borders on deceitful practice although it is not illegal.
if u wanna be absolutely sure which model u're getting, check the IMEI number against online database.
it will show u exact model.

I have LE2125, & i can confirm that it's a single sim device.
though i always if there's any way to make dual sim work in this model.
