Dark Google Search Bar - Huawei Mate 20 X Questions & Answers

A few months ago, I downloaded Nova and changed all of my color settings to a dark mode, including the Google search bar on my home screen. A few weeks later, I reverted back to the Huawei launcher and deleted Nova. Everything went back to normal, except for the Google search bar. It's still in the translucent dark mode. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to get the search bar back to the translucent white color that originally came with the stock launcher. I've downloaded Nova again and changed the format that way, but once I go back to the stock launcher, it always goes back to the black search bar. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? It's not too big of an issue. I'm just stuck trying to figure it out. Thanks.

I have the same problem as well on emui 9 stock launcher. The problem is my phone doesn't even have dark mode.

ADW Launcher

Couldn't find the answer, so I'm going to ask here.
I'd like to use ADW, GoLauncher, or LPP, but it puts this black bar with 3 dots at the bottom of the screen that acts as a menu button. I'm seeing people post pics of their screens and the bar isn't there.
I'm wondering, how does one go about getting rid of this awful 3 dot bar?
ThereĀ“s a patch for Sense Roms from blubber, search the apps thread here.

To disable indefinitely, if you're using a stock rooted rom, you can use this or this, depending on which version of ICS you're using.

Color of Google Search Widget? Did yours change?

I know on KK it was clear, then became white. Then it became clear again. Mine has been clear since the lollipop update and then today, it's white again. I didn't have a recent update for the google app. I even rolled back to one from a couple weeks ago, still stays white.
It's strange. I think the color would have changed when the app updated, but not just randomly now.
What color is your search widget? Solid white or the transparent grey/white?

[Q] Need some help with Huawei P8lite and Nova Launcher

Hello. I hope this is the right forum for this question.
My Xperia Z went bust after two years of faithful service and yesterday I took a risk and picked up the Huawei P8lite. The phone is absolutely gorgeous, but I am having some issues with Nova Launcher.
First off, the soft keys and notification bar aren't transparent. They are when I use the stock launcher (so the device is obviously capable of doing so), and they were on my Xperia Z using Nova Launcher. Non-transparent soft keys and notification bar makes the screen look smaller and cluttered, which utterly spoils the overall experience.
Is there a way around this? If I root the phone, can this be fixed? I have never rooted a device before so if this helps, where can I find the run-down on rooting?
Second, changing icons. When I try to change an icon on the homescreen (again, with Nova Launcher) only a handful of icons from the icon pack shows up on the list. There are clear gaps in the list where a bunch of icons should be.
Again, these were both non-issues on my Xperia Z.
Does anyone have any idea on how to fix these things? For the icons I realize I can use an app like Icon Changer, but with Nova Launcher I shouldn't have to. And as for the soft key and notification bar I realize I can hide them entirely, but I don't want to do that. I just want them to be transparent.
I greatly appreciate any help. I'm on Android 5.0, and I can post screenshots if needed.
Okay, so the phone got an update the other day and that fixed the problem with the icons.
However, the soft keys (and less importantly, the notification bar) still aren't transparent. Does anyone know what to do about this?
You know you live in the first world when this drives you insane
try different themes if that helps !!

In Settings go to the navigation control and it should be to the left on the switch. Move it to the right. Not only did that make the Nav bar clear, but also allows me to hide it.
Hope it helps.

Dark Theme?

Hi all, Just wondering, I just updated the Razer Phone with the latest update, and in the update notes, it mentions a DARK THEME, but I am not able to find this. Anyone know where 1 can find it? I looked at NOVA Launcher Settings, and in the Phone SETTINGS....
Thanks in Advance
Zi
It refers to the icons, they are now darker. Sadly no dark theme, there is night mode for nova though.
you can change all of the Razer Green icons to the default using nova long press the app icon and go to info i then Edit you can do this with all but the Game-booster so its the only apk that needs a stock looking version IMO.
