Best headphones/buds/pods for active wear - OnePlus 7 Pro Accessories

So I have a one-year-old puppy and she destroyed my jaybirds, then my brother gifted me a pair of Jabra Elite ear pod things. She got ahold of the left one . I have a watch now that keeps track of my heart rate and pace and all of those things, so I don't necessarily need she pay for that in a pair. What I need is a pair that will stay in my ear sound good, sound good, and be water proofed decently.
I totally against going back to Jay birds, my experience with them was really nice, the Jabra has didn't have the best quality but the features were cool, heartbeat sensor, GPS, hear through technology, but not necessary I guess.

If you wanna go cheap, people are raving over the $30 price point of Xiaomi redmi airdots.
If you want something better, then look hard at the new Cambridge Audio Melomania 1. They have 9hr battery life, graphene drivers from a well-respected audio company, and run $129
If cost is no problem, then the Sennheiser Momentum is known for its audio quality.

Razer's Hammerhead BT headphones are flawless on my device. On my Razer Phone 2 they showed noticeable lag, but not on the OP7P

Jawbone Icon, 30 dollars on various on line places. If price were no object, get the newer Jawbone. But for 30 dollars, you wont really care if you do loose it.

jawbone seems to be the #1 choice......
anything else guys?
plantronic discovery 925. or if you want bettery battery and 3x charging power of the original case charging feature, the plantronic discovery 975. catch them when they're on sale on amazon. <$50. heck they might be less than 50 now. go. check. now.
Nokia BH 503.
Has excellent sound bass, its battery life is unending, and its very resistant, dropping endlessly without damage. Its reception is great too, and so is the in built mic... you can have full conversations anywhere that u dont have to whisper. I haz onez! Very Good.
Voyager Pro
I love my Plantronics Voyager Pro. The plus is out now so the old pro should be in your price range
I have used a Jawbone Icon for more than a year now. Good stuff! Today I was driving 70 down I-5 with my driver's side window rolled down (no choice, it broke today) and I didn't have any trouble carrying on a conversation with my husband. So, that's my vote. Good luck with your decision.
He said above $75 ;-)
Not to steal the thread, but does anyone have a recommendation for bluetooth headphones (not headset)?

Don't know if this is for you but I prefer to use one of these and then use my normal headphones on it.

Im also looking for some headphones cause my S9-hd buttons stopped working due to sweat but they did last for 2 years. I have been trying to find some that are meant for running and are sweat resistant and have a nice fit.
If your looking for some headphones that are over $75.

Wait? I'm supposed to read this stuff before posting? Meh. I never have been good at following directions. Heh.
I haven't used BT headphones in ages. Never had much luck with them... they either hurt my ears or broke too quickly.
I don't know how much they're going for now but I picked up a BlueAnt T1 when it first came out and it was the best 80 bucks spent on a BT headset. Been through 5 in the last 2 years and this one takes the cake so far. Decent talk time. Standby time is phenomenal. Deafeningly loud when turned all the way up. Most of all, comfortable enough to wear all day (but to each his own here).
Look up the plantronics backbeat. Altec Lansing speakers. They are awesome

Which Stereo BlueTooth headset has the best sound and best funtionality

Hi guys,
so my $80 skull candy ear buds have been lost or stolen, and i was thinking of getting a nice Stereo BT headset for when im working and shredding the slopes. I was looking at the LG HBS-700, but i know there is a lot more out there. Which one has the best sound (good highs, mids and really nice lows) and is the most functional. Would be nice to also be able to make and receive calls and prefer ear buds, but i am open to whatever really
I appreciate the time guys. cheers!

I have used the Sony hbh-ds970 & the Sony hbh-ds980 for about 4 years with great Success. I like the style the Sound for music and voice, The oled display with caller Id. Best of all is the durability. I have worn them everyday. They where expensive but worth it if you use them a lot.

The motorola s9 is awesome, they dropped a newer s10 but its horrible, sound is very low, and audio playback sucks. You can find the s9 at amazon

how is the bass on all of the suggested headsets?
I have the LG HBS-700 and they are great. They do not give much bass but I mostly use them for audio books and some Pandora and calls when driving. The thing I like most is the way they fit, unlike most others BT Head sets they are comfortable and for $50 they are a deal. If your looking for major bass then these are not for you. In addition they give great call quality.
For double the price my father in law has a jaybird headset and swears by them. The only thing is because of the design they are easy to loose becuase you forget you have them on when not in your ears. He learned that the hard way, they fell in the fire when we went camping and didn't know till the next morning when we saw charred pieces in the fire pit. At that point he only had them for a week.
Bass send good to me on the jaybird but I should tell you that I I'm 46 and have some hearing loss from the time I spent in the military...
If you have a best buy near you which has a set in stock you could buy them, try them and return them if you don't like them.
...I have a set of less expensive skull candy wired headphones and I think they produce a bit more bass...
Using tapatalk on my Galaxy 2 to post this!
I personally do not like Bluetooth headsets for music Idk just really don't like them. But if you are looking for some really great headphones that are wired try Radio Shack and look for PointMobile headphones personally, there better then the Skullcandy Fmj and 50/50 combined and for only 30 its a steal.

Have been using the Motorola S305 for the gym for a good 3+ years now. Fit really well, light, excellent battery life and solid BT range. Only concern is they're not as compact as the below headsets, so I only use them at the gym.
Jaybird Freedom's I use on my public transit commute to work. Don't stay on particularly well, even with their new rubber seals, but since I'm just sitting there with minimal motion they're fine. Poor battery life, maybe 3-4 hours per full charge and the range is short (<5 feet). I like the useful playback controls and volume buttons, however.
Outdoor Technology Tags are, in most areas, an improvement on the Jaybirds, but the cord is so darned long and the bright red is too flashy for my tastes. They fit remarkably well, seeing how similar they are designed compared to the Jaybirds. Battery life is also a bit longer than the Jaybirds.
I use the motorola S9-HD, I tried the nwer S10-HD - I wasn't impress with the bass,

Great headphones for Moto X

Just received a pair of Jaybird Blue Buds X headphones for my new Moto X. These headphones sound fantastic !!! Bass is good and not too over powering like in Beats. Highs and Mid range are clear and lots of detail. It has lots of power to spare since i have mine less than half way in volume level and it sounds pretty loud already. The convenience of wireless and Bluetooth technology is un-beatable. Plus these headphones are sweat proof and coated with Hydrophobic solution. They look and feel very durable. The adjustable straps and multitude ear accessories are a great bonus. If you are looking for a great set of Bluetooth headphones that sound and look fantastic then you cant go wrong with these Jaybirds. Nuff said. Enjoy.
Yeah I've only ever heard of praises for these earphones. Too bad they are a bit on the pricey side but no doubt would be very worth it if you can fit it in your budget and can take good care.

I have used them almost the whole day before needing a charge. They claim to get up to 8 hours of life between charges. Enjoy!!
I have the previous version of the buds (jaybirds) and they are quite good. I wish the Xs were out when I was looking for bluetooth earbuds.
I have been using mine for a year. They work really good. I only really use them at the gym mind you, but I do sweat alot and they have not failed on me yet. I would highly recommend the Xs.

I use these too. My only need is not really being able to find the perfect fit. They tend to come loose when I'm running, whether I do over or under ear.

I got the x buds a while back (look for coupon codes, you can usually get them for 15-20% off from the jaybird site). Honestly, the main reason to get these are for the gym/exercising. They are the best bluetooth headphones for lifting and exercising. The cord is small so it doesn't get in the way or get tangled at all. The only issue I have with mine is that volume control doesn't seem to work 100% correctly with my moto x -- going up or down always makes the volume go down. (Could just be my pair, but it did work fine with my Nexus 4.) Edit: Actually other moto x owners have reported the same problem, so it's not just me.

OnePlus launched New earphones by JBL

http://oneplus.net/jbl-e1-earphones
They will cost 40$.
Driver 9mm
Impedance 32Ω+/-15%
Maximum SPL105dB @ 5mW
Rated power input 5mW
Frequency 10Hz-22000Hz
Connector 3.5mm
Cable length 1.2m
http://youtu.be/7QV7Dd5FaRA
Looks really nice. I feel that people are going to mistake them for Beats because of the "tape" wire and the red but looks like a solid buy for ~$40.
The YouTube video is kind of a pointless ad. Doesn't even make any sense, just a mini video of punching.
But will they ever be available?
The video is really pointless IMO but I like the earphones, keeping aside the Red that reminds me of Beats. JBL quality beats Monster's (pun intended) any day of the week and at 40 USD it's a pretty solid buy.
Only thing is, I use stereo Bluetooth earphones
The brand seems to get good reviews of their sound and the design is sexy. I wish they'd come in more colours, but, the oneplus-red is quite nice too.
Trying to get a hold of the phone first, then would love a pair off these!
Release date?

I love Sennheiser, I have a pair of momentum and love them although I use my Sony MDR-1RMC for traveling on long flights. I find the Sony to be much more comfortable, I have biggish ears. My wife on the other hand had no problems with them even over long periods like on the flight to Texas from London for the F1
Why others don't have the adjustable jack angle I don't know, although I wish they didn't have the push and twist connection on the headphone side.

Just got my e1+ today. They're actually not bad. Just needs some eq, see photo. This setting should be close to a flat response curve (to my ears at least). Each person's ears will vary.
My headphone arsenal: triple fi 10, grado sr80i, Sennheiser 560.
I think they're really great for $40, but I think they're worth $30. The plastic does feel a little cheap but then again, these aren't high end headphones. They do look durable, im planning on using these for running. The silicone tips are good but I changed them to comply tips.
The e1+ is focused more towards the mid and higher bass region. So it may sound dull. The higher treble frequencies are lacking. Good for songs with already high treble and bass heavy (eg techno, dubstep etc.) I listen to a lot if jazz and blues hence why my eq is setup this way.
If anyone is looking to getting this headphone, I say unless you can get a discount, look elsewhere.

They don't. The only reason why these are getting attention is because of the OnePlus name (which screams value) and the name brand that is JBL. They're nothing special.

I have had the Galaxy Buds since they released and are still my favorite pair ive owned next to the Airpods. They fit really well and I forget they are there after about 5-10 minutes. Also sound amazingly better than any other wireless earbuds ive used recently.
I have these, not bad for the price, not sure about the water resistance.
edit : They say they are IPX5 waterproof, splash proof

I bought those for my daughter and they sound better than my Galaxy Buds.
I recommend the 1more stylish wireless earbuds. I have the 1more triple drivers and loved how they sounded. Unfortunately, they were wired earbuds and using them attached to a dongle connected to the OP7 pro was quite cumbersome. The 1more wireless earbuds sound great, fit great, great battery and stay in your ear. I also saw that there was a promotion on their website for 25% off the buds bringing them down to $76 shipped. Kinda was a no brainier for me at that price point. Check out some of the reviews on YouTube, but I wouldn't hesitate too long as I'm not sure when that 25% off deal expires.
Rocking these: True-Wireless Headphones, ZOLO Liberty [Upgraded] 8-Hour Playtime (100 Hours with Charging Case), Bluetooth 5 Bluetooth Earbuds with Graphene Driver Technology, IPX5 Sweatproof, Handsfree Stereo Calls https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GKHYVM8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_ql-bDb3ZJDFS5
Charged them once when I first bought them a month ago and still haven't charged them. They work fantastic and sound great. They also work with Google Assistant. Very, very happy.
Right now these are the best for smartphones with Qualcomm 855 & 845 soc and an excellent battery and price.
