USB C audio - OnePlus 7 Pro Accessories

Just wanted to let everyone know that the HTC usonic headphones, and the htc dongle both work on these phones without modification (the sound canceling function of the heaphones does not work though). These headphones sound great with this phone. I searched google and didn't find anything. Just hoping to help if anyone is looking for wired headphones. these are great and have lasted years using every day and arent too expensive.

I also used my Sennheiser HD1s connected via a Cable Matters USB-C to Micro USB cable, works really well and sounds great to me!

Headset for HTC Maple S520

hi there,
Im trying to find a way to use headset so i can listen to music (person who sold me the phone never found the headset that came with it)
stores don't sell them, can't find anything on ebay,
i'm wondering if u guys think it would work with pc usb headsets , via it's data cord?
or if there's a better solution
thanks.
easy solution
the head phones it comes with are crappy but they have a microphone too.
you can easily find adapters on eBay (search htc audio adapter) that will let you plug normal headphones in. microphone function is lost. other phones that need adapters often have a microphone built into the adapter's wire but i didn't see any like that for htc.

[Q] Wanted: PC headset to Phone cable.

Here's the deal, I have a small collection of gaming/pc headsets(razers/steelseries/trittons all sponsored in my pro gaming period) and only two pair of normal headphones. I use my SteelSeries neckband and headphones sometimes because they have an awesome bass and look cool. There is a microphone hidden in these headphones as well, and I would say there should be some kind of cable that has a 3.5 mic in and audio in and a 4pin 3.5 out for the galaxy S2. So I can use both the audio and the mic.
I used my friend google and I found the following:

Any idea if these work? Somebody has experience with one of these cables? Also, is this really the cheapest solution? 15 buck for a cable on ebay/amazon seems expensive (although its not really an issue, since I can use 500 euros worth of headphones.)

S3 audio out with audio control with female connector (for car aux-in)

Hi all,
I have seen some threads in the accessory subforum but they mainly talk about headphones with audio controls. I was looking for something different.
When I had Galaxy S, I used to use this guy here which used to give me call-accept/cancel+track stop/play/fwd function. The other end of it used to go to my CAR aux-in. It also had a mic so helps me talk as well. All in all a great piece. Unfortunately it doesnt seem to work for S3.

Anybody has any suggestions ?
Thanks a lot.
Here are some, but they are bluetooth, so not required to plug into your phone.

Or you can get these bluetooth headsets and simply unplug the headphones and plug it into your car's Aux-In. However, they run on batteries, so need to charge them.

USB Audio Output

Well, I finally found out you can get audio out of the USB port and grabbed a cable from eBay. Thought life would be grand. Got the cable and it works. Still grand.
Then the problems started. Horrid pop, crackle, hiss, beeps, and bloops. Did a little homework and found apparently it's a realatively common problem, but can't seem to find much detail.
Anyone know of any fixes other than a warranty swap out as I'm sure we're well past that point now.
Thanks in advance.
Wait, so analog audio out of the USB port? Why not just use the mini headphone jack?

One cable to rule them all. This way I plug in one cable (work or car) and listen to audio and charge the phone at the same time. I'd use bluetooth in my car, but Velosters have an absolute crap bluetooth when combined with this phone.
It's just easier and less to deal with.

your thoughts on audio through 3.5mm dongle?

Hoping to get your thoughts on audio through 3.5mm dongle since I just can't seem to find anything at all.
Audio should be identical to the P2 XL, look there
It sounds the same as the 2XL: no problems using the USB-C to 3.5 mm dongle (that was included with the 2XL). Sounds the same as a regular 3.5 mm headphone jack. I never had an issue with the official converter. If you buy a cheap one from Amazon, it won't work (tried that once). It has to do with what is enabled in the cheap converters, etc. I don't remember, but I learned my lesson.
It works well. I was using it on my LG G6. my head phone jack on the g6 must have been broken because i would loose sound in one headphone and sometimes it wouldn't recognize them. Interestingly I went through 3 replacements of that phone and all of them had that same problem. But with the connector it worked perfectly. it is a pain in the butt to use and a stupid concept, but a stupid concept that worked better than the phone's jack.
