[Discussion] Rollback package for various models

Hi Folks,
Seeing around various section of all the models when users are struggling to restore their phone either due the flashing an incorrect firmware or after updating via Firmware Finder app and then wanting to rollback to earlier version of EMUI. They sometime cannot even flash the custom ROMs due to FRP lock or unable to flash the custom recovery and even after trying all the known methods, we struggle to restore their phone as they messed up badly with their phone and model or version change to something unexpected.
In this thread, lets discuss and share about rollback files available for various models (be it MM, Lollipop anything) so that new users could use it to restore to their original version and then update to official versions.

I could not find package file for L21 C185 and L24. I know there are links or comments on this, shared long back, but unfortunately could not find it. Please help in getting those and others available.

I haven't seen this on forum and i couldn't get it from Huawei directly. They said it has been given to Service centre WTF (sorry for my words guys). They want us to visit SC for this (after spending on travel as well)

I'm on BLN_L21C432B369 but this wasn't my original stock; debranded from another build so, i can not use rollback , right ? be cause i don't have substructure of BLN-L21 (Emui 4)

How to get Stock Firmware Package for Huawei Nova 2i RNE-L22C675 ?? Can't find it any where. I need the Stock Firmware Package for Huawei Nova 2i RNE-L22C675 with EMUI 5.0??
I'm beginning to regret getting this phone cause there is literally no firmware support, neither from Huawei nor developers. Which is surprising cause it is came out the ending of last 2017. It's a real shame.
Anyways, if any of you guys have legit unbricking solution for this phone model would be much appreciated.

hi,can you help me downgrade back to emui 5.
i had issues debranding to oreo AL20.

You should flash rollback fw and than nougat fw but i am not sure is he exist for 8 Pro.Anybody know?

Worked fine for me with last C432B189 fw downloaded with Huawei Firmware Finder.

[GUIDE] How to install EMUI 9 / Android 9 Beta on EML

Hi,
you want to flash EMUI 9 Beta, are FRP and bootloader unlocked and rooted? Great, here we go.
Disclaimer: I am not responsible for your bricked devices. This has only been tested by a few people with Windows 10 and EML-L29 C432. Other models may or may not work. Please don't use that method if you don't know how to recover your phone from a bricked or semi-bricked state.
It might be a good idea to disable your antivirus if you run into warnings. There is no root.
Steps:
- Download THE TOOL™ v0.2
- Download the matching firmware bundle for your device. With EMUI 9 the firmware files for L09 and L29 differ.
- Extract THE TOOL™
- Extract the firmware bundle, you'll get two ZIPs and some XMLs.
- Start FLASH.bat inside of the extracted tool folder - it will guide you through the procedure.
- I did not have to factory reset. Maybe you will still need to.
- I have no idea if you will be able to receive OTAs or upgrade to future builds.
Disclaimer: Its not my fault or my responsibility if you brick your phone. I have almost no spare time at the moment, so I will probably not be able to help you. Also, there is no root.

There is no root. Also, please don't blame if your device dies. And I don't know if VoLTE works.

Will this work by sideloading the firmware with ADB (without root and unlocked bootloader)?

my phone is locked. So I don think this will work for me.

The script always end with this no su error. I don't get the permantly grant root message.
I tried the script several times. But everytime the same error....

Any new info on possible root with this? Or do we have to wait till the full EMUI 9 release for that?

one way only huawei service center and flash by test point or all time update from funkyhuawei.club I have sam case

I already unlocked my bootloader and currently rooted on EMUI 8.1, got everything I need to do it with Android Pie. I've been looking into other ROMs like Lineage and AOSP, but I haven't found any good info for the P20... Only for the P20 Pro and Lite, which really sucks, it feels like the normal P20 doesn't even exist, a lot of forums only have subs for the Pro and Lite, it's very annoying.
What is stopping me, or anyone that was lucky enough to root before Huawei stopped that, from rooting EMUI 9? I don't have a lot of experience with android and roms so I'm kinda fuzzy on details.

Got it right. Used these files with instructions on OP

You must be on stock emui. And rooted. So first flash back your stich system.img en stock recovery. Then follow the tutorial in the OP.

Downgrade

Hii... I want to downgrade to naugat.. Currently I'm on stock oreo with locked bootloader.. My model is BND AL10 (India) .... Somebody tell me how to downgrade?
Can I use DC unlocker directly on Oreo??

With locked bootloader, your best option is to use official hisuite. Use it to check for update, then click on "other firmware" . It should show nougat as an option. Some others have mentioned it works in India version.
Here is sample video of basic use of hisuite update/ roll-back

The video is labeled emui 9 to emui 8. But same method applies to emui 8 to emui 5(nougat)
And not all regions s will show "switch to other firmware" option. I beleive yours should have.

Looks like version 9.0.3.300OVE does not have the "other firmware" option for the Mate SE

There is. I have version HiSuite_9.0.3.300_OVE.exe and there I had to search for an update and after not finding an update it offers you to go back to android 7.
I just did it.
HiSuite is also the only way for unrooted users to save the apks + data.
It doesn't work online. Best is to do the update in the internal where you have write-permissions and then move the backup out of there.

Question I need help to update tmobile OnePlus 9 pro to latest build

I used MSM tool 11.2.3.3 to revert to stock and now, no update to the latest, it remains in update c17 with April patch, any suggestion I am a newbie in the oneplus scene

yes, I saw some information but since I came from nowhere I don't know about almost everything, I've barely been with him for several days. I know that before doing a factory reset with msm tool I was on build c19, tmobile and oneplus have suspended the updates?

O errors, now i can see, update to a12 with c16 sorry for the mistake. then update the c17 and there it stays

Do you care to switch from t-mobile to global firmware ? Because you can download the 11.2.10.10 global firmware and local update it.

I don't want to modify the phone, I'm not interested in doing crossflash if I have to modify it, but if I can use it normally without making modifications, yes, I'm going to do it. Do I need to modify something or do I just install the rom as if it were the one from tmobile?

What ? Just download the 11.2.10.10 and local upgrade.

After the local upgrade to 11.2.10.10 you'll be on a global firmware so it will automaticly ask you to upgrade to OxygenOS 12

Go to settings, software update, click on the 3 dots, local upgrade and put the zip file of 11.2.10.10 GLOBAL version on you phone storage

I don't ser the 3 dots, remember, this is a tmobile variant
