You need to flash persist.img from fastboot. Use this in fastboot mode in active slot:

Was able to find the raw ROM for 5z from other thread and used the persist.img from there. FP issue is now resolved.

Glad you're able to solve the fp issue.
Flash the kernel in the same slot as rom slot using twrp. Note that you'll lose your root after flashing kernel, so you'll have to flash magisk/superSU again to regain root.

Citrus-CAF was initially based off CyanogenMod in the early days of its inception. Later, the suggestions were taken into consideration and the needs and demands of our users were carefully studied. I just clean flashed this build and when i turn off the swipe up to home (to enable 3 button nav bar), the multi-tasking button doesn't work. It only accepts double taps to switch to previous apps but i app switcher screen doesn't stay open when I single tap.

n00b question here, can we just flash the root package with TWRP on this rom or its' just a matter of changing a setting? installed ROM, so far so good. though it rebooted once when i was selecting the USB file transfer option. it froze, rebooted. but was fine 2nd time. thanks for the ROM>

Hi, a new version is notified in the update section (20 sept version) but there's no download button and it tells it can not be installed on my current version (previous from July). I've observed it went from EvolutionX_2.0 to 2.1. Does it matter ? What should I do to update ?

Just use OTA and it'll be fine.
If you experience any bug after updating you can still clean flash to fix that ?

Guys who ever is getting yellowish tint in custom ROMs

Just goto settings and then live display and then color calibration and manually set color settings as I have did in Screenshot?

It worked for me but I am using pixel experience Rom so i have live display option in settings but don't know whether every Rom has it or not.

Try flashing magisk zip. If that don't work, I'll give boot.img for you to patch and flasj

Don't do that. You'll break stuff. First update your firmware to android 11 October. Then flash
Flashing ... Coming from RR to This will tell the difference soon , BTW Is the rom rooted or i have to do that "flashing boot.img .. thing again , since it's the only way to root Android 11" and i'm willing to try it with Elementalx Kernel

I have done this earlier I flashed Proton Os ROM OVER LINEAGE OS 17.1 it was an R build too.

Proton and lineage 18 are fine to do this, as they bundle the firmware in the zip. This ROM doesn't tho. So if you are coming from 10. Then please update firmware or flash Los 18 / proton first before flashing this ROM

The microphone can not work.
Status bar brightness control not working for me..
Settings - > customization - > system - > "status bar brightness control"
Battery icon issue
Settings - system - status bar tuner- battery "don't show icon"
Please update on these using zenfone max pro m1 6gb version

some firmware checker apps are out there in playstoe and an option is there in orfox recovery also , if both the ways didnt help you just flash required firmware you want , it gets updated

I am on lineage is 18.1 now with magisk 23 installed with only 4 modules Dolby,energized,audio compatibility patch and migsik hide props
Do you know how to enable Notification Bar transparency (without blur)?

Which Custom Recovery like TWRP, Orange Fox & other are you using. Do I hv to update my custom recovery. I am currently using orangefox vR10.1_5 which is based on TWRP 3.3.1.
