Sadly ambient gestures are NOT there. It would be nice not to just copy-paste all pressumed rom features from other devices

Everything runs pretty good but there is almost no sound played in any app except when the phone rings and in phonecalls. Can't play sound on youtube app or any videos through browsers and error when trying to play any mp3 file ... I hope this little issue can be fixed cause I really like this rom ?

Just installed the Resurrected kernel but the issue continues. And still can't play any mp3s..... Never had such an issue no matter what custom rom I've used.... Can't even get a clue what could cause this issue..

Working fine here mate. No issues at all with what you say here.
The rom is not the issue - CLEARLY !!! There is some kind of issue with the apps I'm using but can't figure out which or what is causing these bugs.... Or it's my phone dying. cause it gave me issues today with SIM cards, slow running on a brand new installed rom .... and MIUI has the same issues... I guess I'll have to buy a new phone no matter if I want to or not .... and now we don't expect Mi Max 4 .... :crying:

I did exactly what you wrote at least 5-6 times .... the last time was the charm!! Now it somehow works - stable and no issues but I didn't install Youtube and I'm using the stock kernel. I do have Magisk installed and even API2 enabled for GCAM and everything works now .... At least I still have my phone working so I'm happy about it I just hope it stays this way for longer :fingers-crossed::good::highfive:
Battery life is very good as well so it's not a bad rom at all. Hope we get updates as it's worth keeping alive

Very nice rom. Disabled Google Play Services and installed NanoDroid microG, worked without any issues, both Calendar and Contacts synced without errors.
Good battery backup. Recommended.

This rom is one of the best battery backup rom I have tried. What it needs now is a working Apps Ops built in, then it's perfect.

Awsome ROM Woking perfectly fine thanks for bringing up an other rom
the ROM is buttery smooth...smoother than CM13....consider using this as my daily driver...
Apart from 2 random reboots in past 12 hours, didnt notice any other bug.

+1 for the random reboot and ringtone reset, I had 2 in the past 2 days (one right at the instant when I received a call, screen didn't turn on but I could hear it ringing and then rebooted by itself), all ringtones were reset and I had to set them up manually again. No reboots in the past 12 hours though it seems the phone goes into a random sleep and cannot wake instantly......not using any mods at all (xposed, greenify etc)
If we had LiveDisplay (like CM) and ability to hide status bar icons (alarm, DND, vibrate etc) would make this perfect!
Phone ringtone changes to rom default after every boot.
Notification tone for apps changes to user default tone set for notifications like custom tone for WhatsApp gets changed to default notification tone set after boot.
no option for call conferencing. when you click on call add or conference during a call, lock screen will be shown for couple of seconds and then back to the call UI but no option to add anyone in the call.
Edit- faced this issue during incoming call in progress. Didnt check on outgoing.
Any breaking bugs sofar? This rom seems pretty good for me but i really cant afford random reboots through my usage
I can't seem to download MMS messages don't know if anyone else is having the same problem I'm on Cricket Wireless and I've already tried setting a different APN and nothing has worked

About Project:
Citrus-CAF, unlike the name suggests, was initially based off CyanogenMod, in the early days of Marshmallow, we even had another name at that point. Later, taking into consideration feedbacks of the very first slew of testers and carefully studying the needs and demands of our users, we rebased the project to Code Aurora Sources, more commonly known as CAF. Time went by and Nougat released, and we decided that it was time, Citrus-CAF had to see the daylight. We rebased everything to the brank spanking Nougat released. Later we realized the true potential of CAF tags, how each of them altered the device performance on different SOCs. After a lot of thinking, we decided to keep different sources for difference SOCs in our git and hours of debugging later, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 was the first device to get a taste of our Tangy Nougat. In the beginning, it was just two people behind , but in time, a lot of people joined us, as each giving their own contibutions.
Citrus-CAF was built to create an amazing combination of customization, performance and most of the demanded features by our users, whereas we've Cardinal, to deliver minimal customizations, but the greatest stability!
Meanwhile, all of our Tangy sources are publicly available on our Github. We also do own a Google+ Community, where you can.... uhm... you know, do what all others do at forums and communities! As a per the ss there is "Hardware Key" option under buttons settings
Maybe when triggering that feature causes FC

Sorry if I missed it somewhere in the OP... but if this is not pre-rooted, which Root method would you suggest is best? Magisk or SuperSU?

SuperSU always be more stable, but magisk had modules.

Nice ROM , pretty smooth and a great battery life . thank you for the rom
okay am using the XT43 Indian Variant with no mods to the rom. just flashed dolby atmos and open gapps mini version, but sd card does not work. it is a sandisk 128 gb variant formatted to exfat and i tried to pull logs, just see if they are okay or not!! here are the attached screenshots also

Battery consumption normal from some of the feedback I've received/experienced on a few devices.
Great rom so far, but I've found some issues / missing stuff:
1. No HW button customization
2. Font manager not available on OP5
3. Customizable recents menu (I personaly like oreo tyle the most)
4. Update menu shows available update although I have the latest version installed
Would be nice to have that functions...

Most of this will be coming in future releases. As for the update still showing bug, it will be resolved soon.

Do you mean the options to set what long press/short press/double tap would do? If so they are present under system->buttos

Impressive first release. First impression is good, very smooth, lots of features. Haven't seen any fc yet. Would love to see font manager and lawnchair being added, also option to disable hw button without turning on nav bar. Thx for bringing this to our beloved device
Does the cam show 1080p 60 FPS, sadly every rom i have been trying so far (beside the Oxygen 9.0.5 rom) doesn't show that, does yours show it?

ROM is great. To bad Gapps are integrated...
Hi ! Just one (small) bug for now : volume panel in dark (black amoled) mode is bugged (see on screenshot)
Oh and when using a custom launcher (here is lawnchair) you can't get the dock in recent. Tryed the quickswitch magisk module and it won't works (seems to be an issue Witt pixel launcher)

I don't use Gapps that's why I asked. I tried testing microg but can't get location backends working.
EDIT: also, if you install another launcher and try switching back to the built in one, it crashes and will not work. Set as default, cleared all data and rebooted.

We're going to change launcher. Also fod will get a lot of improvements, no more flicker or other and maybe it will work on screen off. Stay tuned!

maybe in the future. RUI firmware needs blobs and kernel update, for now no time to do it by myself and in lineage there are random reboots, so i won't take that work, i'd prefere to wait it's stable or do it from scratch, careless bout that for now

Great ROM! It works very well,the only thing i miss is AOD. I found some strange thing, in the upper right section of the screen,there are something that blink fast,like a notification, is barely visible, 3 mm dot, more visible on white screen.

I noticed this when I was testing this rom also. Almost seems as if this phone has a notification light that isn't enabled under the screen.

I tried several roms, but the problem is only with this one. Do you have any recommendation for an AOD app? Without notification led is a great lack.... i cannot find any valid AOD app, too many problems with unlock (fingerprint) and battery drain

Ambient display isn't ALWAYS on , i'd like to see notifications when my phone is on the table. If i had to go in another room, when i back, with AOD i see the notification, with ambient display the screen it turns off after some seconds. Plus in this rom there are problems with ambient display, some functions like show notification when lift up and when put off of the pocket, doesn't work, i don't know why.
Edit: Ambient display works (not hand wave), but i still prefer AOD
You'll probably need to just search for a 3rd app then vs asking here, I do not think that is how ambient display is meant to work, so it's not really an issue with the rom itself.

Glad to see the dialer, contacts, ect gaining dark theme, just needs to be themed by black/amoled theme now. Would you consider adding the (omni?) weather like other builds have? Those are the only few things I'm missing. Not sure how often updates will come (I'm not asking) but I've switched back from crDroid since it seems to have gotten a speedy update. Good job!
EDIT: a couple suggestions if I may, I feel like the theme options in AIM settings and under display settings should be combined or just going with one. Settings for choosing system font seems duplicated as well. Long pressing home to launch an app would help us who don't use Gapps be able to open an alternative search app.

No, it's not a rom issue, but some other roms like Havoc, have native AOD, so someone might ask to be implemented in this rom, if it's not forbidden
Does anybody know if the stock Realme camera will work on custom ROMs and it so died anybody have the apk? Seems like every camera app maxes out at 16mp and doubt seem to use all lenses.
